Finding an affordable hotel isn't too difficult, Montrara Happy House has lots of nice (but inexpensive) novel touches to make the stay memorable for the right reasons such as the pebbles on the floor in the bathroom and the oversized keyring for the room key.A sense of fun/whimsy is apparent and that made for a happy stay. |

good location rooms were very, very dirty, loud, mildewed, small and smelled awfully, staff always smiles and this smile stands for "yes", "no", "maybe", "tomorrow", "yersterday"... you can choose |

The director of the House is really a friendly and knowledgeable person. He helped us a lot during our stay, proving much useful information about sightseeing spots as well as precious recommendation to make the trip easy. Such hospitality did I experience in Montrara Happy House! It's hard to expect more in a guest house affordable as Motrara Happy House. If there is any complaint, it is barely due to the breakfast which is a little humble comparing to that of other hotels. |

Leaving the Montrata was the happiest moment of my life!!! it is described as being a 4 star hotel.. First impression is of weeds growing all over the front followed by dirty once white walls and sewage smells. We were abruptly greeted and shown to room 202. It had an aroma quite like a visit to the local sewage plant. The "bathroom" had barn like doors and i would not put a pig in it to wash let alone myself. We asked to for another room and were told that we would have to pay more. We were brought to another room which was not much better but would have to do. The walls, sheets and floor were brown and filthy and the breakfast was inedible. The sink was broken so as well as washing your hands you washed your feet. All in all it was not a happy experience!!!!! |

The staff were excellent - I ended up losing my wallet while there and the reception guy allowed me to use internet and make several international calls for free. He also lent me money as I didn't have any. Exceptional service!! |

The location of the hotel can't be beat! It's just steps away from the main gate of Tha Phrae and the central spot for the Song Kran festivities! The hotel staff were very helpful with all kinds of arrangements and travel assistance. |

The staff was friendly, available and fluent in English so it was so easy and convenient. I had an opportunity to take a "side-trip" and they were most gracious about breaking up my stay. I enjoyed the location, it was as described and the walk to the night market was an easy one. Because it was the new year weekend there was a street celebration set up a Tha Pae gate that was so fun to attend. |

外観と内装はまあまあきれいなホテルでした。 シャワーが温水が出ずスタッフに言ったが、まったくなおらず。最終日部屋の変更を頼まれ、どう見てもダウン- グレードな部屋だったが料金は同じ金額取られた。 |

Het is een leuk thais hotel. Service was perfect, het ontbijt was niet indrukwekkend maar ruim voldoende; vers fruit, roerei, toast, jam thee en je zit aan de rand van het oude centrum. Ideale ligging. Zeer goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Waterdruk was matig. Maar geeft wel het ultieme back-pack gevoel. |

la ubicaci'on del hotel, estaba muy cerca del casco antiguo de la ciudad La calidad del hotel no es de un tres estrellas, se asemeja a una guest house, por un poco mas duermes en un hotel de mejor calidad. |
