The owner was extremely personable and approachable and the beach was cleanest we saw in Koh Samed.
The 200 meter beach is the cleanest and quietest beach on the island offering relaxation and paradise to those who stay there. A small amount of rubbish floats in from the sea but it is regularly picked up by the staff. The pool is lovely. The staff are nice and have good English. The hut/bungalow was perfect - memory foam mattress on a raised bed and good aircon, we couldn't have been happier with the space. We want to urge how this is the best resort on the island for the price. It is the closest to paradise you will get on this island which has been ruined over time. On other beaches there was sewage and I got fishing wire stuck in my hair whereas this place offers exactly the relaxing holiday you want on a Thai island.
Food - the restaurant was below average however there are some lovely places just a ten minute walk down the road. We hired a moped for 6 pounds a day to get around and see more of the island. You can also get taxis.
Everything, food was superb, location right on the beach, staff friendly, I would recommend.
The secluded location Outdoor shower Quiet no loud music at night Completely isolated bungalows
Shower does not drain Many insects in room Housekeeping staff needs to be overhauled Breakfast is more 1-2 star hotel level Showers near pool do not work Need more towels in bathroom Beach isn't the softest.
The resort had beautiful beach.
The rooms needed an up-date and the back shower had no pressure.
Very poring hotel not clean no safe box at room no tv no any body around u after 9 pm no phone at room for emergency no one around u it was really bad experience
the behavior of the owner
the tones of garbages in the area around
The resort has a nice private beach with volleyball net, free of charge sun beds and a small swimming pool. Quiet and lovely place! Very sweet and friendly staff, that served us breakfast while they where taking care of the check-in. Rooms are simple, but nice, clean and romantic out-door shower. All in all very satisfied, and good value for the money!
The food was not very impressive (except nice breakfast), but there are plenty of other places to eat within 5 min walking distance. The resort claim to have 24 hours front desk service, but when we needed to check out at early in the morning, we missed the boat to mainland because it took 30 min before the staff got there. So maybe tell them in advance if you need early/late check-out. There where some ant problems in the bungalow, but I guess that's everywhere. And DO remember to close the doors before sunset, as we got a nasty surprise of huge frogs in the bathroom (our mistake). The Koh Samet it self was okay, but parts of it looked like a constructing site.
The privacy of the resort
Location & set up, value for money in an expensive location like Ko Samed, hip areas - if needed - are easy accessible by taxi
You have to be able to cope for 1 hour with mosquitoes during dinner
The private beach, the thaï food.
This is an old resort. The breakfast not so good.
