Walking distance to everything.Quite end of Chaweng which suited us but if you wanted noisy & more action just a short walk down the beach or on the main road. Also short walk to restaurants & bars situated on beach. Fresh seafood a specialty.Rooms were nice , very clean. Situated right on the beach, dekchairs supplied on the beach as well as around the pool.Fresh fruit vendors situated on beach great value all fruit peeled & sliced. Excellent overall.

The location is good. It's a short walk to Chaweng Beach, but not so close you're in the dirty part. The hotel is laid out quite well. The shuttle service driver was very diligent about helping us find a specific restaurant just based on name and beach location. Pool crew was almost surly when asked about availability of towels and chair near the pool. The beach is quite popular, so space is at a premium. Often pool and beachside chairs are possibly claimed by others, but with no monitoring of who's using the equipment vs who's left their towel and gone back to their room, it becomes quite mercenary. I was able to book the room on booking.com for approximately 20% less than the price quoted by the hotel reception staff, in-person, about five minutes prior.

The staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic location, right on beach. Relaxing and tranquil pool area. Food excellent. I would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect, only 10 minutes from the busier Chaweng shopping area, you could walk along beach or down road. Beds a little too hard and noisy air conditioning but both fine once I had got used to it.

Pros: Very nice, not crowded beach, awesome view. Hotel's architecture based on lovingly designed minimalzed interior based on hig-grade wood. No moscitos and bugs in the room, although the hotel is embedded into very green environment. Very professional and friendly staff. I did reside in a quite appartment 2nd level located in one of the beach wings, the nothern street wing could be a little more dark and probably noisy. The small hotel is close to Chaweng downtown (5...10 min walk), with many very good restaurants. I've spent great restful vacation in this hotel and will come back. Needs to be improved: Weak Wifi signal in the room, but ok in the public areas and at the beach.

The location was excellent and just so close to the beach and also for a stroll down the street to shops etc., Dining in the huts on the beach was amazing - the staff also set up 2 sun loungers on the sand on the beach, with cushions for my husband and me on our last night. They put candles in the sand, and a beautiful plant for decoration! Breakfast with fresh fruit was fabulous, and staff extremely friendly and helpful. very pleasant garden and views to the sea through the trees and Palms. We stayed 1 week at the Muang Kalypan Hotel, and although the Hotel is rather old and in need of some maintenance,it has a good feel. Our bedroom had a cupboard door falling from it's hinges and the huge decking along the upstairs area is in urgent need of replacing,as it has some holes and rotten timber! Sadly the pool is not user friendly - we are a mature couple and I had difficulty getting in and out as there are NO STEPS or LADDER,and there are 2 steps down that are too high for elderly or young children! As it was the rainy season, we spent time relaxing in our room, and there is no comfortable sofa for that - a private balcony, but no seating!! The front entrance to the hotel needs some washing down of the foot path and entrance and tidying of rubbish etc.,in the gardens on the street to make it more appealing. We thought it quite pricey for what we received!

The resort is just walking distance to the beach and it had little huts built on the beach where you can sit and lay down and order food and charge your lap top as it has electrical points and shop as you have vendors walking around. The pool was also large and superb. The roast pork ribs served on Tues and Friday nite is so large and delicious. The hotel staff so friendly and the service is so great.. I booked a Deluxe Inao Double or twin room with sea view - non refundable- breakfast included and I got a single room with a double bed with no sea view at all. My bedroom is on the 2 nd floor facing a wall with creepers. When I brought this to the attention of the receptionist, she said that Inao is an old name for the room and the double or twin room is meant double or twin bed only!!! So your site is misleading!!! Get it sorted out. I feel cheated!!! Where is the sea view???

It's zen-like peacefulness, the proximity to the beach, and the layout were all very impressive The mirrors in the bedroom are a little too disturbing and be careful of the steps in the bedroom.

A very nice Hotel, straight onto the beach. Good pool and surroundings, covered little beach tables and comfy cushions. Not over crowded, more space than adjacent more expensive hotels. Very helpful friendly staff. We initially booked 2 nights and stayed an extra 3 nights.

Nice rooms, comfy beds, great location at the beach, good breakfast and next to chaweng main road, where you can find all kind of facilities No wifi at the rooms (only at the lobby), no free transfer airport/hotel (400thb), no 24h reception, no spa. I recommend to stay at the resorts nearby for honeymooners, this is just a normal hotel.

Breakfast in the beach huts - felt close to paradise! Very friendly staff Well-equipped rooms Well-located, at northern end of Chaweng Beach so not at the busiest part of the beach Nice pool Free wi-fi available, but frustratingly didn't seem to work within our bedrooms, only outside

Really lovely hotel situated at the north end of chaweng beach, restaurants etc about a 10 minute walk away. Pool was lovely and the breakfast we had at the restaurant was ok superior rooms are very noisy with the main road just outside, add to that a noisy aircon and I found it hard to sleep. We found the hotel too quiet and the beach in front was not very nice at all for swimming. Good if you are wanting to be away from the hustle and bustle of chaweng and dont mind swimming in the pool rather than the sea

Our stay at the Hotel was excellent, hotel staff were fantastic and very friendly, made our stay even better. The location is excellent and very close to the beach. Our room was clean and tidy and we felt very comfortable. We would go back to stay. The only thing that could have been improved was the cost of there drinks and food versus the other places around there, they were just slightly more expensive.

The huts on the beach, very Buddha-esque. The room feels claustrophobic as windows face veranda and you have to keep the curtains down all the time otherwise people can see you. Also, balcony door is tiny and does not provide enough natural light in the room. Additionally, breakfast takes way too long to be served for a meal that is so simple. There is no spa in the hotel and you cannot swim in the beach front. The pool is very small. However, huts are really cool and compensate for most of that.

A beautiful garden and restaurant on the beach. Very relaxed atmosphear. Noise in superior room, on the road. This could be a problem.

Excellent location, just outside busy Chaweng area but on walking distance. Nice hotel, but a bit old. Contrary to what was mentioned on the website, there was no gym. Wireless internet was not available for several days. Price not in line with quality.
