I stayed in the Hotel Nantra de Boutique for 2 days in December 2011. I was very satisfied with my experience in this hotel and I recommend it. The hotel enjoys a good location in Soi 1 between and around 100 meters to the beach (beach road) and to Big C supermarket and entertainment area (second road). The street and the hotel are quiet (no girls bars around). This relatively small hotel is a 3 floor building with a small swimming pool. The boutique rooms are all different, tasteful decorated and comfortable. Contrary to other big hotels in Pattaya the atmosphere in this one is familial, relaxing and easy way. There is also a spa area with different treatment at convenient prices. About the staff, not only I have no complains, but I would like to mention and to be so thankful to Lizza who is a kind, serviced oriented and efficient person. In my opinion, she brings to the hotel much of its positive soul.

The foot massage is superb - 90 mins for 400 baht - The spa girls are clean and professional and always so friendly and personable. All the staff are wonderful and work very hard to assist you for very little wages. Remember to tip them! - 60 baht is just 2 dollars but will buy them a good meal. The towels and bedding are of good quality and the body products are nice. The hotel is always busy because it offers good value for money. However the owners need to invest on some renovations, paint and repair - The grout between the tiles in the bathrooms - black and nasty and needs replacing. The kitchen area surface needs laminating as the kettles leak and are spoiling and staining what is in place. The are several cigarette burns on wooden surfaces and refrigerators which is sad as people ignore the "no smoking policy" ~ Put smoke detectors in the rooms and this would stop. The wood deck around the pool is dangerous and rotten I nearly twisted my ankle when the wood gave way and I only weigh 50 kilos not 100. The wifi service is inconsistent as they need a bigger booster/system for many who are downloading.

When we reach pattaya, hotel is next soi to holiday inn soi 1, bellboy came promptly and took our luggage into the lobby, first look at the hotel is not as good as it look at website, but, two ladies at front office were polite , and with a smile, it took us five mins to get our keys , there is no life as its just four floor building , so our luggage reach to the room before we could, hehehe, room was very big for a double room , designing of the room is great, I stayed there for three nights and every day at 11 am they clean the room , got a balcony too behind , every thing about the room was good but bedding needs to be changed , not very comfortable. 2 mins walk from the beach which is not very crowded, u get a chair for 30 baht for full day. Big C,Tiffeny show and 7/11 is five mins away. In my view , its 9 out of 10. Only bad vibes comes from Breakfast , its not upto the mark. The staff at breakfast place are very very rude , we reach at 10am for breakfast when they are open till 1030 and its a complimentry breakfast but lady give us very bad look and rude in asking what we want, thats the only bad point I can see and I did told the senior reception lady who speak good english about this , She appologise and said she will take care in the future.

An outstanding staff member called Lisa who was assigned to oversee the foreigners that did not speak Thai. What a wonderful warm and helpful young lady. She is the number one asset to the hotel as she was always around with a smile for everyone and nothing was too much trouble. The towels were fluffy and new. My room smelled musty (bali on the ground floor) - The a/c did not work, nor did the dvd player - the toilet was running on the whole time unless I personally rigged it each time! - The shower head needs replacing as it sprays everywhere and wets up the bath mat you are going to step onto as its a slippery tile floor. The bedside light did not work and the general lighting of the room is not bright enough for a dark corner room. The yoga classes and meditation plus spa no longer exists at nantra which is one of the main reasons I booked this hotel with booking.com

the price is quite reasonable, it's located near the beach. good for backpackers. the swimming pool is too small, it's not very convenient to swim. And my room was not very clean, smelly of cigarette. Moreover the air-conditioner didn't work well.

Good location - not far from the beach and city night clubs. Quiet and peace. No lift. Swimming pool is too small like a small pond. Feels like it's a guesthouse rather than a hotel.

Very disappointing ...floors needed cleaning in room, and public areas ( around swimming pool/ breakfast area ) . Refurbishing and heavy duty cleaning needed. Bathroom fittings loose. Very poor breakfast ( cold fried eggs and luke-warm coffee ) Less central location than we had expected

A good value hotel located not too far from the beach and resort attractions. Due to the positioning of the hotel there are few opportunities for sun bathing around the swimming pool - it is mostly shaded.

Close to Pattaya Beach Hotel is not close to Walking Street, you should get bus to go there. (10Mins by bus). The rooms are dirty and old, I think the photos in the website are from 10 years ago. Those are not the real room photos. Many hotels cleaner and closer to the walking street with same price.

The hotel seems to be on the beach but actually its away from the beach. About 2 min Walk. I was surprised when they asked me for 500 THB for a dirty sofa which was not done by us. The Sofa set was dirty prior to our arrival but they did not mentioned that we will be charged for any dirty sofa/Other place.

I selected the hotel because of location----up a soi about 100 metres to beach with entertainment area of Pattaya in walking distance. Thr rate was very competetive without being bargain basement. Room was a good size a/c worked well, staff were friendly and helpful, and room was clean and kept that way. What more can you ask g
