Wonderful place with the most friendly staff I've ever met in a hotel. Such a nice atmosphere and loads of smiles. The room was nice, clean and everything one could imagine for the price. Great breakfast buffet to choose from. The hotel really is value for money when it comes to Bangkok and Thailand. I've been in other nice hotel in Bangkok and Thailand, but when it comes to the price - I've haven't seen anything that could beat this one. Yet again: the staff is really, really lovely people and so helpfull. Can't think of anything! |

Navalai has very comfortable rooms with balconies, a simple breakfast spread, it's right beside the pier where tourists boats pass every few minutes. Rooms have coffee and free water, room slippers, hairdryers. |

Easy access to transport - river ferry dock next door, taxis in front. Has own restaurant, good standard. Quiet area, but close to many attractions. |

Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast good. Rooms well decorated, clean and fresh. Loved hotel and roof top pool. Pier for the river boats right next to hotel and 5 min walk to khoasan rd so good location. Would stay again. The only downside is beacuse the restaurant is on the riverside which is a beautiful location you will need to wear lots of mosquito repellent. Not really a downside more of a warning. |

During my stay at Navalai River Resort I found the facilities especially the pool excellent. Also good was the friendliness of the staff who provided great service. Easy access to the river taxis made the stay very enjoyable |

My "deluxe city view" room looked over a dingy alleyway, which had a bar playing live music extremely loud until past 3am every night, despite the hotel staff saying it was a one off on the first night due to the Monday being a holiday. In short they kept lying to me, which combined with very little sleep resulted in my checking out three days early. The hotel is also on the far side of the city centre from the majority of sights and transport areas, making it extremely inconvenient for most trips. |

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The rooftop pool was excellent as was the restaurant/bar and buffet breakfast. Great location and good value for money. The hotel entrance is down the side rather than at the front of the building so first impressions when arriving at 3am were not overly favourable. However, any misgivings were quickly allayed. |

Staff both courteous and efficient, available but not intrusive. Breakfast was buffet style but an excellent version of a buffet. The part of the city that it's in is a bit brash and touristy. |

excellent location at Chao Praya River near Khaosan Road, close to the most important sightseeing spots. friendly and helpful staff. good massage program. the room category "scenic city (deluxe city view)" means in reality a room on the 5th floor overlooking a road with heavy traffic and a building in terrible estate. "street side upper floor" would be the correct description. fortunately for the last 2 nights we could change to a room with river view which is a bit overpriced but gives definitely more holiday feeling |

I loved everything about Navalai...location, staff, breakfast, location, pool, location and kingsize bed, view from the rooftop, night and day, everything! I really liked everything but if I could change one thing, it is to air condition the lobby. It was so hot when we visited. The only place to cool off was the pool or our room. |

We liked the nice rooftop swimming pool, which is a true selling point. On the other hand we were disappointed that it is open only between 8am and 8pm!!! We would expect this to be open at least till midnight. So forget about sipping your cocktail while admiring Bangkok's night scenery. Above all there is no rooftop bar, this is on ground floor, but ok that is fair enough. Breakfast was tasty, on a riverside platform. Rooms were very chic in terms of design. In terms of value for money, the neighboring New Siam Riverside Guest House is much better - cost half (1,390 Bt vs 2,600 Bt) and also has a nice pool (albeit on ground floor) and comfortable lobby, rooms are smaller only slightly. There are 2 PCs with internet in the tiny lobby but these are very slow. We were asked for a 1000 Baht cash deposit at check-in for room bar but its content was maybe worth 200 Baht... I was also surprised we received only one key card per double room which is not very practical. |

Good staff and service. Not too far from city centre. Restaurant is not conditioned and too hot. Very noisy in the room at night - bad conditioning system state. Split system part outside of the room is too noisy. |

It was worth paying the extra cost for a room over looking the river. We just sat on the balcony for hours watching the world go by. It was a perfect setting. Unfortunately, we were both unwell during our stay but found the room service a godsend and as I said we were happy to just enjoy the surroundings, facilities in the room and general atmosphere of the hotel. |

Loved this place, cheap as chips and excellent river views. Even though I didn't make use of the pool facilities I found the staff to be most winsome in their ways and the restaurant and location in the heart of the major sights would be hard to beat. My highest recommendation is that I'll definitely stay here the next time I'm in Bangkok. Nothing springs to mind. |
