It was wonderful from checking in to checking out. Location fantastic 5 min walk to Khaosan Road and all the buzz. I didnt use the pool but did go and see it and it looked so nice up on the rooftop. Very comfortable nights sleep with no noise even though my room was at the front next to busy main road.

It's a nice hotel, the pool was clean and a lovely view of the river, there's a couple of local bars and restaurants close by and it's less than ten min walk to khao San road, the room was clean the food in the restaurant was really nice and the staff were pleasant , it was quiet at night we had a serene corner room it was big , the price overall was ok there is an ATM and 7 11 outside which is handy and it has its own pier if u want to get a boat anywhere, the staff allowed us to leave our luggage locked away on our last day so we could venture out for a bit as we weren't getting picked up till 4 .

Everything about the hotel was fine, as for Bangkok well il let ya all decide that for yourself, I'd recommend staying at this hotel we are returning to Bangkok at the start of July and we might book another night before we end our trip.

The swimming pool on the roof wa nice.

This is far from being a four-star hotel. The service was not professional. The room had electricity shortcuts. The Air-con was terribly noisy (dimpossible to sleep). Very very disappointed.

The reception organised a taxi to the airport for a fixed price, I've been told I was ripped off! Difficult to know who's right but it might be worth checking it out before going

perfect location to explore more of the city. second time we stayed here. pool is nice, breakfast fine.

some staff did not really showed to be interested, or eager/willing to help. not all, but this was only point were this looked to be not as good how it was.

Location is convenient, not in the best neighborhood. From the restaurant patio on the river you can hop on the speed boat (stop 13) which takes you directly downtown. Our room was of good size, big bathroom, quite comfortable. There is a seven eleven just outside. Swimming pool on the floor is very cool. Breakfast is great and offers good food.

City view apartments are noisy, since the bars across the street have singers play until late night. Choose the river side rooms.

Good location right next to the river and only a few mins walk to Koh San Road. Comfy bed, adequate facilities. Nice to have breakfast in the outdoor section of the restaurant alongside the river.

Booked the 'serene corner' room because I read in the reviews that it was on the quiet side of the building. Turns out there are two rooms called serene corner, one on the noisy side and one on the quiet side. We were put on the noisy side. When I mentioned this to reception they told me I did not request the quiet side. Obviously I would have done this had I of known there were two. Also, do not be misled by the name serene corner, these rooms are not on the corners of the building, they are on the sides, so don't expect the one on the quiet side to have any view of the river. They moved us to another room on the quieter side, it was the same price and looked identical to the serene corner room anyway.

Expect some street noise if you choose cheapest rooms (but the staff sent me email in advance suggesting I upgraded - good service!); no good restaurants nearby - but hotel restaurant was fine

Very confortable bed and pillows. Good location next to the pier, Khao San and the temples, but a litle bit far from downtown. The breakfast was ok, but not the best. The pool is very nice and the drinks at the pool bar really good.

The air conditioned was off when we arrived and everytime we arrive to the room. The staff was ok, but they speak very bad english, like all the people in bangkok. So you need to be carefull with the misunderstoods. If you arrange the airport transfer with them be carefull, we pay at the reception before we leave and the guy dis not gave us a receipt. When we arrive to the airport the taxi driver said that we had not paid yet...big mess because the no one speaks english. We had to telephone to the hotel...with our phone to clean this up.

In one word...location. The hotel is perfectly located in Bangkok, right along the river and close to the primary temples and other tourist attractions. And the water taxi - which makes traveling around Bangkok so much easier - stops right behind the hotel. The pool that is located on the roof of the hotel also is very nice, and provides a great view of Bangkok.

The breakfast and restaurant was quite fancy, but the food served at the breakfast buffet wasn't especially good. The bad breakfast food turned us off from trying the restaurant for lunch or dinner. Happily, there's no shortage of excellent and cheap Thai restaurants to eat within one block of the hotel.
