Navalai River Resort

カオサンロードに近いロケーションだが、静かで落ちついたホテルでした。部屋も清潔。レストランは川に面し- て見晴らしがよく、料理もとても美味しかったです。

Wonderful place with the most friendly staff I've ever met in a hotel. Such a nice atmosphere and loads of smiles. The room was nice, clean and everything one could imagine for the price. Great breakfast buffet to choose from. The hotel really is value for money when it comes to Bangkok and Thailand. I've been in other nice hotel in Bangkok and Thailand, but when it comes to the price - I've haven't seen anything that could beat this one. Yet again: the staff is really, really lovely people and so helpfull.

Navalai has very comfortable rooms with balconies, a simple breakfast spread, it's right beside the pier where tourists boats pass every few minutes. Rooms have coffee and free water, room slippers, hairdryers.

Easy access to transport - river ferry dock next door, taxis in front. Has own restaurant, good standard. Quiet area, but close to many attractions.

During my stay at Navalai River Resort I found the facilities especially the pool excellent. Also good was the friendliness of the staff who provided great service. Easy access to the river taxis made the stay very enjoyable

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The rooftop pool was excellent as was the restaurant/bar and buffet breakfast. Great location and good value for money.

The hotel entrance is down the side rather than at the front of the building so first impressions when arriving at 3am were not overly favourable. However, any misgivings were quickly allayed.

I loved everything about Navalai...location, staff, breakfast, location, pool, location and kingsize bed, view from the rooftop, night and day, everything!

I really liked everything but if I could change one thing, it is to air condition the lobby. It was so hot when we visited. The only place to cool off was the pool or our room.

We liked the nice rooftop swimming pool, which is a true selling point. On the other hand we were disappointed that it is open only between 8am and 8pm!!! We would expect this to be open at least till midnight. So forget about sipping your cocktail while admiring Bangkok's night scenery. Above all there is no rooftop bar, this is on ground floor, but ok that is fair enough. Breakfast was tasty, on a riverside platform. Rooms were very chic in terms of design. In terms of value for money, the neighboring New Siam Riverside Guest House is much better - cost half (1,390 Bt vs 2,600 Bt) and also has a nice pool (albeit on ground floor) and comfortable lobby, rooms are smaller only slightly.

There are 2 PCs with internet in the tiny lobby but these are very slow. We were asked for a 1000 Baht cash deposit at check-in for room bar but its content was maybe worth 200 Baht... I was also surprised we received only one key card per double room which is not very practical.

Go for the river view rooms they are worth that little bit extra. Best massage I had in Thailand at the shop right next to the hotel.

It was worth paying the extra cost for a room over looking the river. We just sat on the balcony for hours watching the world go by. It was a perfect setting. Unfortunately, we were both unwell during our stay but found the room service a godsend and as I said we were happy to just enjoy the surroundings, facilities in the room and general atmosphere of the hotel.
