Kalus, the owner of the apartment was extremely helpful. he helped us organising trekking, travel and booking taxis. The rooms are very clean, good breakfast. Quiet location and not far from the centre of Chiang Mai.
There isn't anything I could mention. Everything was just perfect!!
The hotel is close to the Old Town, within a walking distance. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable. We liked breakfasts very much. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. This is a family hotel, has good ambience.
The hotel urgently needs modernisation, the room looked a bit shabby, dark and dull, the walls were quite thin - one could hear everything in the adjacent rooms.
Having connected rooms worked well for our family of 4 and great to have 2 bathrooms. Lovely and varied breakfast provided. Fairly quiet area to stay.
Taxi found it difficult to find. The owner of the hotel talked on the phone whilst I was trying to pay for our room and ask questions, which I thought was rude. We did not notice the same level of service and helpfullness as we had come to expect in Thailand from other places.
Everything! Klaus was an excellent host. The breakfast buffet was huge and good quality. Staff were very friendly. Good facilities. We liked the position a few minutes from Chiang Mai gate, outside the walls in a quiet neighbourhood.
Nice quiet location. The hosts are exceptional - my girlfriend had a poorly tummy one day and they looked after her brilliantly. They are also on hand to help out with just about anything you may need.
Located outside of the old town, so quieter like we wanted, but walking into the old town wasn't quite as easy as we had hoped owing to the poor standard of pavement that prevails throughout Chiang Mai
Klaus and his wife Nipha were AMAZING. My family loved every minute of our stay there and Chiang Mai. The couple were extremely hospitable and assisted us with all of our needs during our vacation.
NOTHING. It was perfect.
Slide toilet door a bit stiff and noisy while close or open
Everything! Overall a great experience. From the decor, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast and service. Wonderful time in beautiful chiang mai.
Great Breakfast. Owners very helpful. Sent their son to find us a taxi when the one we phoned didn't arrive. They seemed lovely people.
A little bit out of the way. Taxi driver found it hard to find.
Klause, Nipha and Rosa are really nice and helpful. Their daughter drove me to the airport when there was no taxi during the moment I left. The room is clean and has Unique Thai style, which I like a lot. Even though the location is not in the old town, it just needs a few walk. I enjoy a lot staying there.
Nipha's very kind. Room is clean. Feel like home.
The room quite dark, TV's sound is too bad.
So friendly n just made you feel so welcome !
Nothing it was all fab !
Pictures do not do it justice!.
The owners are very kind and helpful, they gave us good advice about Chiang Mai. Also the staff members are great and always smiling. Excellent buffet breakfast, with different choices every day and served in the patio. Room and bathroom clean, comfortable bed. Wifi works well. I will absolutely recommend this place to everyone, everything was perfect.
- very helpful staff (as soon as I mentioned my plans for the next days I always got corresponding suggestions from Klaus concerning options in Chiang Mai) - very good breakfast in a nice location sitting outside in the courtyard. Every day they offered a different warm dish. - very quiet outside of the old town but only a few minutes walk to the old town. - I highly reccommend this hotel and will visit it again if I ever come back to Chiang Mai.
Klaus and Nipha, the owners were very helpful and friendly offering mega huge breakfasts every morning for their guests. The hotel is in a quiet location but in walking distance to the old city. Klaus was very good at offering advice and our girls loved their dog, Mumu. They surprised our daughter with a cake and present on her birthday at breakfast. The staff were beautiful.
The deluxe family room was too dark and cavernous. We needed the lights on when we were in our room during the day. We had difficulty with the mosquitos in our room. The room had sliding glass doors throughout which made it difficult to block out light during the night when putting our children to bed. The kitchenette (?) had no sink. Maybe a bit overpriced.
Every thing is great
Hot water supply inadequate
The owners made us feel so welcome! We felt like we were made to feel at home. They were so accommodating, and helped us with daily site seeing events, as well as travel arrangements . We will definitely recommend their business to our friends!
Nice room with full facilities. Helpful and friendly owner. Special thanks to Khun Nipha and her husband for a very warm welcome during our staying period there.
Staff very helpful, nice rooms, verrrry big breakfast included in the price.
Only problem is the laundrette that the hotel suggested, we took our washing there and were charged 490baht for what should have cost probably 90baht, if you need to do a wash look around a little bit as other places will do 30baht or so per kg. this isn't the hotels fault just something to bare in mind as we don't want others getting ripped off!! The hotel itself and staff were all excellent.
Manager and staff were very friendly and helpful
Stayed there for three nights. Nipha and her husband are very friendly. I walked from here to Chiang mai gate and Night Market, only took me less than 20 mins on foot. So the location is pretty good. It is not in the old town, so very quiet during the night. BTW, they have a very lovely dog.
The hosts are really sweet and hospitable people. During our 3 days stay, we felt very comfortable and they helped us if we needed anything. The Thai interior make the room and the whole atmosphere very cosy and relaxed. We didn't have any problem staying there. It's located about 15-20 min walk from the Bazaar night market, which is a great place to walk around during the evening to buy souvenirs etc. and to eat some cheap and good food. The wifi in our room work without any problem. I can definitely recommend this place for other travelers.
The host is so so so kind and friendly, house is also very good and beautiful, location also good. Feels like home.
We loved the hospitality of Herr Klaus and Khun Nipha . They were amazing. Klaus was available to provide every kind of assistance that you can think of. The breakfast was amazing. Lovely spread with superior quality yoghurt and drinks. They even made Indian Samosas for breakfast a really nice gesture by the housekeeper Roshan. I was able to make all arrangements from the hotel travel desk.
The location is a bit hard to find for local tuk tuk drivers and red taxis. Arriving at the location is not straight forward and since it is a homestay there is no 24hr reception desk to provide guidance if you plan to stay out a bit late. This should be borne in mind by travellers. Also the room that we stayed him had some minor issues such as a faulty shower and safe. Also the room could do with some more ventilation and light and if possible a fan. However, the hospitality of the hosts more than made up for any glitches that we had in the room. They were never show stoppers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
