Nova Platinum Hotel  

good service, nice swimming-pool, good food, free internet (but slow), good location

mostly frequened by noisy indians and turcs.

Nova Platinum has a nice Pool Area, looks fine during the day and fantastic at night. Rooms facing the road have soundproof windows making them really quiet and comfortable. Beds are big and cozy and bathrooms clean and bright. Big LCD TV with Cable and touchless entry card system. Black out Curtains which are really working and a nice desk area to get work done. Free Wifi throughout the Hotel which is reasonably fast. Bath buses just outside the Hotel and ATM / Pharmacy and a convenience store next to the premises.

Hotel staff is generally friendly but needs some training, upon arrival I was lectured that I made the booking under a different name because they could not find my reservation since they had mixed up the names internally. In the hotel hallway cleaning staff were slamming doors continously and upon leaving the bell boy stopped me from rushing to my bus because he was thinking that I am leaving the hotel without paying which is ridiculous given that they have a copy of my passport and my credit card details. Having said that they were all friendly as Thais usually are, just seems they are young, inexperienced and need some basic training and supervision which was not visible.

Really I don’t know from where to start but I can only say if you want to have good holiday don’t stay in this hotel … when I first arrived to the hotel and at the reception they told me I will be staying in different building because the main building is full !!!! so I told them when I made my reservation nothing was mentioned a bout staying in different hotel ( it was really different hotel with different reception and it was very bad hotel ) and when I try to explain that to the person at the reception he refuse to understand and was very rude and he asked me to take the room or leave it and the will still going to charge my VISA CARD !!!! and if I have any complain I have contact booking .com… and if course after very long agreement and without trying to give any help or solution from their side I decide to take the room and not lose my money for them. And in the room I was more desponded , the room was very small with old furniture and the bath room was very small and the bathroom door has no locks and also the door has a gap from the side so person at the room could see you when you using the w.c .. not mentioned that I found out after I left this hotel to a much better one 2 days later that the first hotel was very expensive compare to the one i stayed later.

Pool with the bar was very relaxing. Also there were no children which was a plus.

Excellent new hotel at the center of Pattaya, very close to Jomtien and pier!

It is good for short stay, the room is clear and have coffee maker. The only problem is that they have just one elevator which most of the time is busy and you have to wait very long time or you can use the stair ways.

I like the room design with the giant mirror's and the wifi in every room.

Didn't like the price for the buffet and the added fees to every item.

Close to WalkStreet

Many of the Indians and Turks people in the hotel, which I would not advise the landing of families because of the hassle in the corridors and there is usually bad in the Indian single groups they stay like 10 persons in one room and the length of the night you hear the voices of the doors opening and closing bell and the voices of the other rooms.

in the city center,near the beach,shops,malls extra.....

there is only one lift.

In my first day I asked the hotel to fix the ac and they send the engineer after 4 hours of waiting The room was full of Mosquitos and they did nothing for me.
