Nova Platinum Hotel

Nice staff, nice pool with bar, nice location - on the end of Walking Street (where the night life is), but still quiet during night. Definitely value for money.

The room I stayed in could use a little paint job, and a second elevator would be nice.

Effectively does what it says on the tin. Clean and comfortable with excellent value rooms. Well located at well.

the hotel was quite , close to the walking st. the flat screen and the bed

when i checked out the cashier didnt give me the bill although i paid cash .

Location was great and rooms were well kitted and modern

Handy for walking to all the main bars and restaurants near Walking Street but away from all the madness.

The shower was only luke warm at best.

Staff were very friendly and in the main very helpful. Excellent maid service.

The sun beds were uncomfortable, being fixed in one position. The poolside bar was ok, but not stocked to provide anywhere near the full range of cocktails advertised. The bar prices were excessive.

when i make check in reception staff charge me more 180 bht , i was should pay 3570 but he charged me 3750 .. , expinsev minibar

Had ant problem in room and no one came up to solved the problem when i call them. Also you cannot have your free breakfast in your room either though you paid for it.

Fantastic pool. Even has a slide! Really neat sand beach sunbathing area. Decent location (10 min walk to walking street), easy to catch ride on street. Nice rooms with big LCD TV. Great pizza and good food at decent price (breakfast is too expensive).

Small details detract from the quality of the hotel, i.e. staff not directing to hotel room at check in, a missed wake up call, serving steak but no steak knife, an advertised happy hour that no longer exists, inaccurate information in the directory, a movie channel that is low resolution pirated stream fed (can occassinally see mouse cursor go across screeen). Balcony would've been nice.
