Centara Hotel Hat Yai (formerly known as Novotel Centara Hat Yai)  

Comfy bed. Great bathroom. Huge room. Great view. Quality linen and amenities. Very friendly and talkative bell boys and lift attendants and security. Staff upon check out were much nicer than check in.

Woeful wifi internet connections and I can't believe you have to pay for it especially in a reputable Hotel chain. Very rude reception staff upon check in. Barely acknowledged me. Left me standing at reception for ages without uttering a word to me about what they were doing, I guess they couldn't find my booking, but who knows. Took a deposit on my card without advising me. Why would they not say something? They already have my card details as I booked through Booking.com why take a deposit and then not say anything, it is almost fraudulent.

I love novotel hatyai, and room boy service is very good and always smile.... I give them five star,, hehehe, tks so much

The Staff are very couteous and polite.

Located at the heart of the city, convenient to walk to many places incl shopping centers, convenience stores, restaurants, and small stalls along the streets.

No tooth brush was included in room amenities

The location is excellent but check in time was not on time. I have to wait for another 1 hour before my family and i were given our rooms and after I have make complain over the counter.

Slightly run down rooms, but good staff and impressive breakfast buffet. Rooms look muck better on the photos.

Excellent location and an ok breakfast.

On checkin I was first told that breakfast was not included. I had to show my booking.com voucher to prove otherwise. Then, we were sent to a room on the 13th floor when (again) on the voucher it said the rooms would be situated on the 14th-16th floor with club lounge access. When I went back to reception to point this out I received no word of apology and instead was given a gruff shrug of the shoulder and a set of new keycards. The man at the desk did not bother to ask me if we needed any help in moving all our bags, stroller and 2 young kids so we did that ourselves. It gave me a very bad impression of the Novotel staff. I also found the charge of 25 baht per page to be a tad excessive for printing.

Strategic location but the hotel is pretty drabby and in need of refurbishment.

The water in the bathroom was cold.

We went to Hat Yai because we needed to take the mini bus from there to Koh Samui. The location is excellent, lots of eateries and night markets are just right under. There are swimming pool, sauna and fitness room on the 7th floor, small but enought for a-night-stay.

Their staff were friendly, helpful and polite.

With good services provided by the staffs, it impress me and touched my heart to re-visit again. All facilities available satisfy my requirements at the best. Sure I will choose this hotel again for next visit.

If can provide more local style breakfast gourmet, that should make the perfection of morning satiety
