The location. Our flights were changed by 24hours and Novotel would not allow us to alter our reservation - and told us to contact Booking.com. Booking made an attempt to change the reservation straight away with hotel however at this point Novotel would not allow the change - even though it was highlighted at check in stage. It was disappointing from the hotel as the staff were not helpful at all and it did make the stay quite expensive as we only stayed three nights and had to pay for 4nights. I am aware that with all reservations there are conditions however due to the fact that it was highlighted at check in stage, I thought that they could have been more accommodating.

Location, Location, Location. The location is great, I don't think you could find a better location. Internet access is ok. While the location was great, the hotel is under construction. October 2011. The paint fumes in the first room were so bad I had to be moved. Only thing available was a smoking floor, even on this floor you could smell paint fumes.

The room was very clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly Food and drink in the hotel was really expensive, we paid 3000 (€75) for a siamese evening on new years eve it was really bad we were falling asleep and left before 12 half the guests were also gone

Excellent location. Walking distance to Siam Paragon (high end shopping, eateries, cinema, marine aquarium & Mdm Tussauds) , mbk (reasonable priced shopping & eateries) and easy access to city rail service just behind the hotel with connectivity to Chatuchak weekend market and other places of interest. Tour desk at the lobby very convenient. Hotel staff were very polite, attentive and good source of information if you need help as to what to do during your stay. The vegetarian corner during breakfast at The Square is a nice touch. Depending on what time you go down for breakfast at The Square, it can be very crowded at times but food selection good.

Conveniently located - about 2 minutes walk from the bts train station. Friendly staff. I was satisfied with the room and the service. The water in the shower did not drain quickly at times. I guess this could be due to the renovation works being carried out.

The service, quality and priceworthness was excellent at Novotel Siam Square. The breakfast buffet had a very good variety and was very fresh. Two towels were missing in our room upon arrival, but this was quickly fixed when announced to the lobby.

I liked cos of the price and location as this was my first time to novotel There was some construction or referbashiment going on which was not listed on booking.com and there was no connected rooms for smoking floors.

Location was great. Just a couple of minutes away from all the big shopping centers. Staff wasn't very friendly. We stayed in cheaper hotels and the staff was friendlier. The whole atmosphere was very cold.

Very nice hotel with excellent staff service and attention. Its great to see that the warm hospitality of which the Thai people were once famous for still exists at some places and is not yet totally extinct. Keep up the great effort. The room was a little small but still comfortable, modern and expectation.

“Abbiamo scelto questo albergo soprattutto per la posizione anche perché Bangkok e' una di quelle città che non ha un vero e proprio centro. La vicinanza ad entrambe le linee dello Skytrain e' fondamentale. Ma quello che ci ha sorpreso piu' di tutto e' che di un albergo così bello e così ben strategicamente posizionato non se ne parli in nessuna delle guide della città'. Addirittura Maps di Apple lo ignora!! Se non fosse stato per il giudizio di Booking che viceversa ne parla molto bene e che ha attirato la nostra attenzione lo avremmo sicuramente ignorato anche noi. Punti di forza : a) la vista dalle camere soprattutto all alba e al tramonto b) la qualita' di un 5 stelle ad un prezzo di un 2/3 stelle di Roma... C) la ricchezza del breakfast d) la vicinanza allo shopping che a pensarci bene potrebbe essere visto come elemento negativo soprattutto in un momento di crisi economica come l attuale.... ” Gianpiero, Roma |
