Wall is moldy and dirty.
Plenty of non smoking rooms.
Tv is too old and too small. Small parking area. Coffee in the room is not too good.
Breakfast was great Staff friendly and helpful, however most had limited English speaking. The location isn't great, however they provide a free shuttle into the markets and there is a supermarket right there.
The beds are very large but unfortunately, the mattress' are very hard, uncomfortable and past their use by date. We could feel the springs. We never bothered to complain about it as the group of friends we met there had the same problem.
The massive bed and the comfort of it The staff, the outside entrance and the lobby The tea, coffee, water and the shuttle service to the airport
The pamphlet on 'sex with children', made me worried about the previous guests at the hotel The bath mat inside the bath was very dirty The bedside light switches were a bit dated and the radio didn't work The view from the hotel was very ugly There was a cockroach in my room The location wasn't great and it was difficult to even get to a 7/11
Away from the general 'hustle and 'bustle' of Chiang Mai so room was quiet at night. The free 'shuttle bus' to/from the Night Market (the mini-bus only seats 10 so needs to be 'booked' at Reception as early as possible as once it is full that's it - they don't put on an 'extra' bus for more guests. Extremely good value for money.
The 'facilities' and beds were very good, but the 'ambiance' of the room was let down by the somewhat 'basic' appearance of the seats and tables which, though functional, looked 'cheap' for a hotel of this standard (although this didn't actually detract from the enjoyment of our stay).
Very noisy. Specially caused by the staff while cleaning.
Lots of space. Very comfortable and huge bed. A bit far from town but the evening shuttle bus service was very efficient. We would have stayed longer but they were fully booked.
staff were excellent..well trained in the Hospitality Business...rooms allways remade when i wanted it...not like some hotels where they bang on the door to reset the room...this is my 2nd stay at the Mecure and i will most certainly be back..i was encouraged last year to join Accor group and this also paid dividends....very good....fred norwood
There is a need to improve the cleanliness of bathroom. Facilities need to be remodeled in my opinion.
Good facilities, the people from the hotel very kind
supermarket next door. 500m to wet market for meal. 1km to night food street.
no friendly atmosphere..
A size of room is quite big.location is next to Top Super Market.
The room is quite old.
ISN'T VERY CLEAN
Great staff, especially my restaurant waiter. He couldn't do enough for me. Polite, friendly and attentive - fantastic !!!
I felt that Mecure is a bit out of the main centre, and travelling solo, I probably didn't see as much I would have liked.
Free drop off pick up from night market
The hotel was very well presented. Some of the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was very easy get a taxi or tuk tuk to where we wanted to go. Also two bottles of drinking water were provided daily which was very convenient for us.
One of the staff in the restaurant (I think his name was Tanapon) was kinda abrupt the two night we ate at the hotel and really made not want to continue eating at the hotel in the evenings.
