Friendly staff, good parking for bike

This hotel is not as good as last year we had to wait two hours till the room is prepared, also I booked for sea view nd they tOld me no sea view available! I booked a month before my trip how come not available! Also while we were sleeping in the early morning the had to annoy us by jumping through our balcony for cleanig purpose. Also everytime the cleaner knocks the door once she enters the room while we still there even thought we said " come back later" they were so annoying theY didnt clean the bathroom well I hated my stay at novotel patong its the worst! Not worth the money

we enjoyed the beautiful rooms, great location, security, friendly staff, great facilities, excellent breakfast. we enjoyed a stay for 3 nights and pay for 2, we liked it that much we rebooked out stay 3 times.

Location was too far from the main city center. Service could have been better.

Staff, see view, location and every things

I liked the fact that the hotel was just on the uotskirts of Patong and not in the hussle and busstle of the town itself. It meant you could easliy get into town and have dinner and drinks and shop etc but return to a realtively peaceful location. I also like the fact that I could hire a motorbike at a reasonable price, and the stafff were extremely flexible in the hiring time and return time. Best thing I did was hire the bike to get around. The view from my room was fabulous, though would like to have been up a little higher to avoid the the pathway to the rear of room where people were walking and driving by in the hotel could see into my room, it lacked a bit of privacy.

Generally I enjoyed my stay at Novotel and in the majority of the cases the staff were excellent. I had one incident which dampened my stay on one evening when I was interrogated and spoken to rudely by a couple of the security officers. I thought the gym was pretty poor. I turned up to one of the activities (thai boxing) hoping to participate but was ignored. I thought this was an open activity. As a person who likes physical activity, I thought this was a good opportunity to indulge in something local and at the same time get some exercise. The breakfast was ok! I think the cooks need to taste their own cooking, I generally stuck with toast and pastries as the cooked stuff didn't taste very good.

The room we stayed in had fantastic views over Patong Bay. The hotel had a very pleasant ambiance. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful
