"Family" room on the beach had super nice beach view, strong aircon and WiFi, came with mat (appreciated) and broom and other essentials. We were there for about 20 hours starting about 4pm and didn't hear ANY music or other sounds, just lovely ocean waves (and occasional bark from many dogs that live on the beach). Contrast that with the northern Thong Nai Pan beach, which unfortunately has annoying loud live and recorded music. Soft white sand beach.

It feels like it’s right in the middle of everything that’s happening in Koh Phangan. It’s great. The hotel itself is behind the cafe so it’s secluded from the road noise and what not.

If you ride a bike and wana a quiet place to stay, this is a nice place. It is about 10mins to Thongsala and there are many eateries and nice shops. In the weekend, there are street market. :)
However if you do not ride a bike, I will suggest another place.
