The bed, the shower The hotel was too noisy, I was able to hear the people next door and the cleaning personal chating. No window, when you wake up in the morning you can´t figure out what time it is without checking the alarm clock. Poor breakfast if you stay more than a day. There are 2 entrances to the hotel: one from the restaurant side which is the best one and another one, the main one, that is dark and dirty. Check in is from 14h and not 7.00am as it is stated on booking.com; can be a real problem if no room is available early. The room worth the 2,000 Baht (56% percent off) I paid for but definitely not 5,000 Baht (original price without promotion)

The hotel is in a great location, right beside the sky train, yet once inside the hotel, you cannot hear any of the noise from the street. The choice of breakfasts was quite limited, for anyone staying more than 2 nights,

The location is good, just beside Nana bts. I can move around with ease as there are many eateries and entertainment centres around Soi 8 to Soi 12. The room is clean and good enough for me but a bit pricey for a small boutique hotel. Rooms don't have windows but there are opaque glass lighted from behind resembling outdoor. It is clever idea as the hotel is actually a shophouse. I didn't hear the bts train outside eventhough my room face the main Sukhumvit Road. I guess they install sound proof partitions for the rooms. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. The Western breakfast is ok.

Great hotel!! It was the first time we stayed at on8 and we booked it on the basis of the reviews of tripadvisor. We stayed at on8 for 4 days in January 2012. The café in the hotel is literally on the doorstep of Nana station. The staff was great and friendly. Nu helped us with our bags as soon as he saw us entering the hotel. Pong always had a spark with his friendly personality , always willing to help us with directions, shopping spots …well actually Pong helped us with almost anything we asked for. Pros Wonderful, trendy, modern hotel and room. There were other reviews that we read on tripadvisor commenting that there wasn’t enough space for luggage but we comfortably fitted our two luggage bags and hand luggage in the room. But yes, I do agree the room is small Great, clean, modern bathroom Two complementary bottles of water everyday Fabulous breakfast which was a buffet. There was Danish pastries, fruit, yoghurt , tea ,coffee and a hot breakfast. There was a convenient and safe storage place for our luggage after we checked out. They even had a luggage scale which was a great help to balance all our bags out considering all our shopping. Many Indian restaurants around the hotel however Aryaas a good choice as they were reasonably priced and had good food as well. Having nana station on the doorstep was great as we could return late at night and we didn’t have to walk any further to the hotel. In addition you can purchase a day pass at reception. Overall Would definitely stay here again, GREAT value for money. Tip: Book the room on the 5th floor, we stayed at 508. There was no noise. No windows but the closed curtains serves as an illusion Difficult to find the hotel , its hidden at the end of the road. The hotel should consider displaying a sign on the main street.

I loved the simplicity and elegance of the room design, the efficiency of the staff, and the breakfast. I thought the toilets should have featured a bidet spraygun.

It is a conveniant place to stay. Next to the skytrain and the busy night action. Can get loud at night due to the pubs and music places around. The room was very clean and stylish.

Great location right next to Nana BTS Station. Short walk to malls, pharmacy, massage areas and eating places. Staff are friendly and helpful and accommodating. This is my second stay here and likely many more to come! Limited variety for breakfast, sometimes a little understaffed.

Toilets are new, clean and morden. good wifi with moderate speed, even a free laptop in the lobby. Its a hotel for those who want to sight seeing and shopping all daylong and who probably just sleep at night, as the room is extremely small no window so day and night is bit confuting to guess, so sofa, only one chai,r so for two you don't even eat together. its a new hotel(comparatively), but lots of noise, sound from close by room easily soundable, need to turn the tv on( tv is good though, highest channels offering for free) to avoid the personal covesation of other room. when anyone close the door of close by 5 room you know and probably break your sleep too. the appearance of the hotel from outside is disappointing its looks like a lodge rather than a hotel.

Clean, cheap, and nice hotel. It is nicely renovated. Cosy rooms with free wi-fi. Not that big but good for the price. A skytrain station is just next door. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfasts. The bathroom in my room did not have drainage in the toilet area, only in shower. Not that bad, but nice to have.

On 8 was extremely cheap and really well located in the heart of the city and right outside the Nana train stop. From here, catching the train to the shopping centres and markets was a simple breeze! For those places where we needed a cab, finding one was simple and cheap. We thought we might have heard the train throughout the night, but we did not hear one thing throughout our stay. The room was really well maintained and extremely clean and the staff was very helpful and fluent in English. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a really cheap priced but stylish hotel close to everything a traveller would need. The only set back to this hotel is that there is no view what so ever, as all the windows are frosted white. Also, the front entrance is neatly tucked away down a side street of Soi 8, so hopefully your taxi driver knows where it is!!

It was at the bts station itself for ease of transport access. Staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist in any situation. Hotel clean and tidy, security excellent with keycard access. Close to shops and other places. Extra facilities would have been the sweetener, like a gym/spa , pool etc.

On8 Sukhumvit, a boutique hotel, was a pleasant surprise. It surpassed my expectations. Location along Sukhumvit is accessible because its a few steps from Nana station although it may be hard to find from soi 8 because it's tucked at the end of a smaller alley along soi8. Lobby and reception modern, not grand but spacious enough. Front desk staff very accommodating, pleasant and most helpful. Rooms are modern, spacious, uncluttered, and tidy. Double bed super comfortable, pillows super fluffy, sheets spotless white and feeling clean - sleep was heavenly after a long day of shopping or sight-seeing! There's a frosted glass wall with curtains by the outer wall that allows sunlight through. It's a good design trick actually to simulate a window. No noise from outside, if ever, inaudible.Bathroom is also modern, clean with glass enclosed rainshower. Minimum toiletries but not a problem. There's a mini- bar, mini-ref, bedroom slippers for 2, bathrobes for two, safe, flat screen tv, working desk and chair, night tables on both sides, clock. Room service very quick. We were a party of 8, two rooms were unavailable on our first day so four people were downgraded to a smaller room for the first night. The downgraded rooms turned out to be just as comfortable as the bigger rooms. Breakfast was very good although simple and limited choices but very generous portions. Tried their pad thai in the cafe where breakfast was served - very good and one of the best we've tasted during our trip. I highly recommend On8 even to my enemies - though I don't recall having any, VAlue for money, definitely. Our On8 sukhumvit accommodations was almost perfect. Here are a few things I'd like to comment to make it perfect. There's only one hook in the bathroom, it would be good to add a second one. Towel racks would be most welcome. I'm not sure if the door handles to the bathroom and the enclosed shower were meant to double as towel racks but they're too narrow for the towels, but since there was none we managed with the door handles. A toilet bowl bidet would also be a plus if they can install one. A clothesline too. On some days our towel supplies were fraying in the edges, this needs overall replacements. Since the hotel along Soi8 is hidden from the street, it would be a good idea to put up a visible sign with an arrow along the corner of Soi8 to direct guests. The absence of these minor details though did not in any way get in the way of our appreciation of the hotel and its facilities.

Location excellent, next to Nana station, good breakfast, very friendly staff. However could not accommodate us to check-in early. Twin beds and interconnecting rooms were not available on Amber rooms. Bathroom walls and doors were made of glass, not transparent though but no lock on bath door, privacy issue

Excellent location ..only 2 mins walk to Nana Skytrain station. Staff are excellent. Room is clean . Got an upgrade when I arrived but see problem later..Breakfast is usual Thai /american style but it keeps you going. Right next to a bar which is handy for a drink. Note non smoking hotel..2000baht fine if u have a puff... Taxi's are a problem on Sukhumvit.. Lots of traffic so best get one to Soi 11 (opposite soi 8) and walk across the road. Room 507 overlooks Sukhunvit road and is VERY NOISY. Tried to move but they were full.. Ask for one that is away from the road..even if its smaller..its worth it to get some sleep. Note non smoking hotel..2000baht fine if u have a puff...

“I picked Park Plaza Sukhumvit based on the excellent reviews I saw on the internet. The quality of the room and the service was superb and lived up to the reputation on the internet. Only 100m to the Asoke skytrain station was also great. An added bonus is the brand new Terminal 21 shopping mall which is attached to the Asoke. Fantastic shopping and a bunch of really great restaurants.” Peter, Santa Monica, Ca |
