Although our time here was short it was a stay that will be remembered. We were staying in Pai already and have been traveling Asia for a few months and we think the host was one of the nicest caring men we met. The room was a great size (they are all little houses really from what we could see), so clean, fully equipped and in a beautiful setting. The breakfast was big and very tasty. We would advise anyone to do as we done and hop on a motobike and go out for a few nights. There is shuttle service into Pai for those who want to go in and out. There is lots around the hotel also to keep you busy. Enjoy and thanks. Daniel and Nini
Happy with everything
the manager is so nice to help me for every thing The surrounding of the hotel is beautiful U should stay in the hotel for whole day.
Internet is a little bit slow.
Owner was brilliant and his team were lovely too! Warmly greeted on arrival and every mornin at breakfast, pool was great and the place it's self is set in a lovely scenic county part of pai.
Nothing but you will need a mo-ped to get to pai, it's a 5min drive or thirty min walk!
From the location to the facilities, everything here is fantastic. However what makes it truly special is the owner. From advice to pai to even helping me fix and repair my broken bike Mr Chin was a truly fantastic host and makes your stay wonderful
There is literally nothing not to like
The couple who owned this place was lovely! It was a beautiful place to stay and we had such a lovely time and amazing breakfasts!
Only negative was that wifi didn't really work in the room very well!
The rooms were very large and comfortable. The resort is very nice: lots of green, trees, even a small river passing close. The breakfast was very tasty with some special healthy food that we didn't find elsewhere There is a small pool which we didn't even have time to use. The location is good as base for trips in the area of Pai, but is problematic with regards to the night market (see my other remark on that)
The location is not the best. It is only 4 Km away from the Pai night market but there is not much transportation. The hotel has a small shuttle once in the evening returning 21:00 there is not much to do in Pai at night other than in the Market (food, massage, shopping) , so 21:00 return is much too early. If you ask the hotel to return after 21:00 they might do you a favor but in the end they will charge you for it. Best alternative is to return by Taxi around 22:00 (the station is closed very early there), or take an Hotel in the City The breakfast is served only starting 8:00. So if you plan to leave early for your day it will be an issue
-Friendly staff -Beautiful location, mountainview +river -Great breakfast -Rooms very comfortable and clean -Kingsize bed and bathtub! -Beautiful swimming pool -Quiet and peaceful -Amazing place to relax and explore the surroundings
Good breakfast, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, clean nice room, beautiful resort, great value for money, easy to get to Pai by motor bike
Pool wasn't that clean, but to be fair we staid during rainy season and the pool wasn't used anyway
Big bed and room. Free shuttle from center of pai. Nice garden and helpful staff.
Poor furniture and maintaince of the room espacially the bathroom.old furniture, unwelcoming pool area. not what you will expect from 4 star resort.most imporatant problem is that the curtains are transparnt and the sun come in early at morning and it is feel like you could be seen from outside at night.
How kind and welcoming they make you feel.
They treated me as well as my own family,. Nothing else to say.
The hotel owner is so friendly, it will make you happy every day! The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the airconditioning works perfect! There is almost no sound at night so you will sleep perfect! The breakfast is every day something else and very healthy and good! You will love this place!! Come here and experience it yourself, this place is everything you need for a relaxing quiet holiday!
The most comfortable bed we have slept in, the actual resort itself is amazing, really calm and relaxing, nice pool, really comfortable room, amazing shower, free computer to use
The resort is very far outside of pai town (walking street, about 15mins drive) however the resort advertises that they have a regular shuttle service thats why we chose to stay there despite the location. As we opted not to rent a motorbike we were dependant on the shuttle service. We were there in the low season and there were very few other guests around, which seemed to make availing of the shuttle service to be a big deal to the owner. It seemed to us that we were a hinderance to Mr. Chinn every time we asked to use the shuttle service on the times that were advertised (only 3 per day starting at 1pm and only one pick up time to return at 9pm). He offered for us to go earlier one of the days but then said it would cost 200 bath. It seemed that most times we were the only guests using the shuttle service which led to us always having to inform Mr. Chinn in advance which time we wanted to go at (he asked us at breakfast what to time we needed to get the shuttle). This was akward as we like to be spontanous an thought we could just hop onto the shuttle at the advertised times. Also Mr. Chinm continously tried for us to match our daily plans with the plans of a pair of young girls who were also staying there to get us to use the shuttle at the same time. One day we opted not to go at the same time as them and he certainly did not seem happy about this. We felt like we needed to always let him know about our plans in advance and despite the beauty of the resort itself it made us feel very uncomfortable during the stay. Also we felt that Mr. Chinns friendliness was not sincere or genuiene. He had no interest in us at all and his only concern seemed to be at what time we planned on getting the shuttle bus. Also we did not understand why we should have to pay 200 baht to go 30mins earlier if we were the only ones using the service anyway.
Incredibly friendly, accommodating staff, well kept grounds, great swimming pool, lots of places on the grounds to relax, read, daydream etc. The room was very very clean, the bathroom was really stylish and beautiful (bath and an amazing shower), it smelled nice, the room was made up every morning, bathrobes etc- felt like royalty. Also, all the food we ordered from there was very high quality. Free shuttle into town throughout the day, and they arrange to have bikes delivered to the resort for day rental.
The meals were slightly high priced, but they drive you into town for free, so that's no problem. Thats all. Everything else, perfect.
The location, Mr Chinn was the host with the most!
WiFi weak in the room, pool could have been cleaner.
Mr Chinn the owner/manager - loveliest person I have ever met on any trip I've been on in 21 years, he couldn't do enough to help. Made sure we were always happy with the room, he knew if we were planning on getting the shuttle even if we were running late he'd wait for us, asked if we wanted to rent scooters which we did, he arranged them to be dropped at the hotel for us. Everything was amazing, I can't recommend the hotel enough, and id come back to pai just to stay at that hotel again.
Low-season The rooms (and the bed) are nice, large and clean. The resort is nice, but nothing fancy. The surroundings are really nice though, the pool is quite large and pretty clean. The personnel (and Mr. Chinn) are quite nice and helpful. The lack of other guests sometimes made this helpfulness a bit awkward (as soon as we jumped into the pool, towels were brought / we arrive at the gate at 10:30, someone's there immediately). Guess not really a bad thing but could be a little less. Really liked the breakfast (I love sticky rice).
The shuttle service is very limited (maybe because we were there in the low-season but still). We mailed to get picked up upon arrival but somehow my mail wasn't read. Next, we were brought one afternoon to the city and were told that we could be picked up, but that we would be charged. I wouldn't have mind but don't say it's free of charge. If you don't feel like renting a motorbike I would not stay here. Pretty far from the town centre.
Staff was very friendly Room is spacious
No blackouts in the room No telephone The nice shower in the bathroom had no hot water; had to use the bathtub which is very ugly and not comfortable Things generally in the room are very old; and I was a bit hesitant to use the towels provided in the room. Breakfast was very simple. A bit faraway from the attractions, relatively speaking; because Pai is small town.
Beauty like Paradise, I wish I can stay HideAway MORE day.
Very friendly staff. Informed us with all information we need.
The location I would say a bit far, but that's why it's called hideaway I guess. We drove there so it was fine, couldn't imagine travelled by public transport.
Very helpful and reliable manager! Sure this is a smart choice
I like the location which is far away from the busy & noisy area. The room is nice deco & large. There is good space between each guest room. Mr Chin, the property manager is a really nice & helpful person. In fact all others staffs there were very friendly & helpful. A good place to escape from the crowd & city.
Nothing to complain! You get what you paid. It's really a good deal for the time I booked.
Paicome is a very nice place very quiet nd relax place and the staff is so help full good food big pool nd very nice super.....
A beautiful peaceful location with fantastic accommodation and the most courteous and warm hosts. Loved the el fresco breakfast dinning (even if it was in my overcoat). We were on a motorbike so access to town was no problem. Those less fortunate can be transported in and out for free by our host Chin (excuse the spelling). Loved it full stop.
Nothing with the hotel. However, Pai itself has changed since my last visit in 2009 ..... unfortunately for the worse. It's lost it's back water charm and ambiance. The walking streets are more like the Kosan road now and ramjam full of backpackers :(
- Super friendly and helpful staff! Especially the owner, Mr Chinn. - Very relaxed / laid back vibe. - Greens, views and nature
- Maybe the rooms need a update in decoration. But that's nitpicking.
