Staff are helpful and friendly. Room was clean and traditionally decorated. The facilities offered are everything you need. Lovely breakfast and very attentive staff
Good location since most of the tourist spot is nearby, especially Sunday night market.
The same breakfast (only 03 choices) provided thru out the stay.
Located right next to one of the nicer temples. 7 eleven is very nearby and several restaurants are right around the corner. Fresh towels and sheets daily!
The shower produces more mist than water but this is common in the cheaper hotels in Thailand. My room didn't have a real window. This is fine for a few days but may get depressing if you stay longer.
Beutifully decorated rooms and excellent location. Staff were very friendly too.
The drain in the bathroom wasn't very good so it could become very wet. On the whole though it is excellent value for money.
Room decoration was so creative, the manager respond my email immediately
1. There is no lift (My room was located on 4th floor) 2. There is add. charge for tour (more expensive than others) and the tour was boring and not professional enough!
Right in the heart of the old city and right next to the best two temples, massages two minutes away, a five minute walk to the night dinner markets (left out of the hotel) this place is perfectly located to walk Chiang Mai Staff are very helpful and can organise anything if you ask - hire a driver and car for a day or three and go to the old ancient temples, doi suthep and doe inthanon for sure.
Can be a bit noisy as is in the heart of the city so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper
- excellent location - spacious room - comfortable bed - helpful and friendly staff that speak good English
- the painting on the wall of the rooms - charged 30b for water in the fridge that we didn't drink but we didn't have time to argue as we were rushing to the airport.
Nice fragrance in the room, and room decoration is exotic.the room is small, but the toilet is big. Staff are friendly and nice.
Many sights were within walking distance
The only window was in the bathroom and less than 1 metre from an adjoining wall
We flew to Chiang Mai just for the Sunday walking market so the location was fantastic. Staff were great, we had family room, quite a lot of room. This is a great hotel for the Sunday walking market.
The beds were so hard, (we are used to hard beds as we have one, however this was like sleeping on the floor), skip the breakfast in the restaurant next door in the three days we were there they could not get our orders correct. The bathroom was very dark, they just need to update a little. Still had a good time though.
Good location,a step out is sunday night market.
Poor water pressure makes shower a problem
Location is good, just in front sunday night market
The water pressure can be better.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The location was wonderful for temples and wats.
The fact that there was no window out.
location is soooo perfect! And the reception girl is soooo kind!
There's some kind of smell in the room without window. And the air-conditioner didn't work very well.
Helpful staff who answered all our questions and arranged transport. Good location fanciful room murals.
The rooms need an updating as air conditioner barely worked and bathroom was funky. Our shower bar kept falling off and hot water was marginal. Many rooms do not have windows. There was elevator and no assistance with bringing luggage to our room on 4th floor!
The staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel has an excellent location, very decorative interior and definitely worth the price.
Remember to bring shampoo and such since they are not provided.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Decoration in very good order and very well chosen. Servicing of the room very good. Bowl of fruit on arrival a nice touch. Free bottles of water. Busy, old city area but quiet in the room.
Breakfast is in an adjoining establishment. It was adequate but I prefer choice from a buffet. Natural light in the bed/living area was non-existent. Only the bathroom had a window.
Brilliant location. Friendly, helpful staff. All requests answered with a smile. Fantastic value for money.
The staff helped us book tutu. They are very friendly. The location is perfect.
Great location, next to temples and Sunday market. Nice helpful staff
Breakfast not good
The staff is very Nice and helpful, location is great and the room was very Nice decorated and confortable
Breakfast is ok but can be improved
I have ordered taxi at 5 am to the airport 1 day before departure and prepaid the transfer. When I went down to the reception hall, a strange man started to prove me that I ordered taxi at 5:30, but he even was not present there while I was booking my transfer. He explained to me that the airport is open only at 5:30 and he can not call taxi service earlier 5:30. (Airport is open 24 hours a day, and when I finally appeared there I was convinced one more time it is open always). After his monologue he left me to wait in the hall in front of closed doors while he was printing something and ignored me till the time when I demanded him to open the door. When I tried to take taxi by myself outside, he has been scared and called taxi service (seems, in fact he was able to call earlier 5:30 ). Taxi arrived immediately
Cool painted rooms, great location in centre of old town
Our room stunk and wasnot well ventilated with no window.
It was in the centre of Chiang Mai. So this was a very good place to stay, easy access to all main routes. Wile hear I visited Chiang Rai, The White temple, The Golden Triangle, & Karen hill tribe so interesting . Also Chiang Mia is a very clean & tidy city, every one seems to move at a slower speed than the rest of Thai City's .
