Pathumwan Princess Hotel    

I actually didn't like anything, I just thought that since its a budget friendly Hotel you can't expect better facility.

The location and the staff who were very professional, helpful and friendly.

It had no atmosphere-just a high rise hotel more suited for business than lesure.

We stayed in a Superior Double which was large and nicely decorated with modern décor. Hotel staff were very friendly and check-in was efficient. The hotel is well located with direct access to the MBK shopping centre and the Siam Paragon complex is located across the road. Hotel facilities were excellent with a superb gym that was available to the general public however, free of charge for hotel guests. The pool area was large with plenty of sunbaking space however, it does get busy around 4pm as gym members appear to be able to use the pool as part of their membership and many do laps in the late afternoon. The hotel restaurants were expensive for Bangkok so we opted out of eating there except for an afternoon bagel. The buffet breakfast was extensive and offered plenty of options. My only suggestion would be for the breakfast service to finish a little later as 10am was a little early when recovering from jet lag. We didn't use the Spa facility as it was more cost effective to go across the road where I got a fantastic massage for less that a quarter the price. As my stay coincided with my birthday, I was surprised that staff knocked on my door with a birthday cake and candles, a lovely touch that was very much appreciated. All in all, we found the hotel offered a fine stay and we even returned for 2 nights on our return stopover before heading home. I would recommend Pathumwan Princess to anyone considering a stay in Bangkok.

My one complaint was that the staff in the restaurant by the pool were standing around doing nothing whilst guests sitting by the pool seemed eager to order drinks and food whilst sunbaking. At one point I went and advised staff that they should walk around the pool as I could hear people complaining about the lack of poolside service. The staff thanked me and proceeded to ask guests for orders after which, they seemed busy non stop.

Unfortunately we were in hotel for only 14hrs but payed for 2 nights ...

Excellent pool area. Great for shopping and nearby Skytrain for access to other parts of the city. Direct access to MBK Mall from the hotel.

Great location if you want shopping. Really great breakfast for Asian or Western people, fantastic variety to chose from.

Bathroom looked a bit aged and had mould at a few spots. Promised fruit and a drink on arrival to our room but we had to ask for it. Some fruit was well over it's eating time!

Breakfast was amazing! Rooms clean with great views.

Hôtel magnifique personnel aux petits soins on se sent comme des roi dans cet hôtel chambre confortable et très propre, belle piscine salle de fitnesse énorme, cort de tennis squash et terrain de basquet même une piste de course, super Spa avec un éventail imence de soins et surtout l emacement de l hôtel très idéal pour faire du shopping l hôtel a un accès direct au MBK center et sur le Siam square se m est pas les magasin qui manque bref rien a dire au j oubliais petit déjeuner est exceptionnel y a vraiment de tout c est incroyable j y retournerai a chaque déplacement sur bangkok

Rien a dire a part que le prix de la chambre est un peu élevé mais bon c est du 5 étoiles et le service est au petits soins

Large well presented rooms with great bathrooms situated right next door to the best shopping market in Asia the MBK shopping center... wonderful staff and will definitely stay there again.

The staff are so friendly and polite. The flower on the pillow at night was beautiful. The view from my room on the top floor was stunning. The room itself was perfect. The snacks in the fridge was excellent. Being near the shopping centers is a bonas

Pool floor a bit old Very Expensive Italian Restuataunt.

The location was excellent, no need to take taxi to shop. Food was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful. The location to the MBK shopping centre was wonderful.

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay.

Hotel is new, modern, centrally locared and connected to a large mall. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. My double superior room was huge, very clean and luxurious. First class gym and swimming pool. Great hotel restaurant and bar. As a frequent traveller, I can't fault this hotel for either business, family or leisure.

location is great!

This is a good place because you can easily reach to the other shopping areas within a few minutes. Also a decent place. But you have to have a night club or a dance every night for us to enjoy staying there

Everyday the same breakfast buffet. We stayed for five days. As we enter we notice the same thing we got fed up

The location of the hotel is perfect and it is close to everywhere that you will visit in your Bangkok trip...

The courteous staffs and their willingness to give extra is well appreciated.

I stayed in Room 1514, of which I had the bathtub drainage not working well and repair was only done after 2 attempts. The ac also gave some problem but was subsequently repaired though. I had an extra pull over bed for my daughter, space was a bit constrain & her sleep was not too well. I later discover that in Room 1515, there are 3 beds available in that room. I could have taken that up if I was being informed by the front desk during check in or was prompt when I booked online then.

What I loved about this hotel was its location as we are young family it was ideal to stay here as all the shopping centres are within a five minute walk of each other and you able to do your shopping in comfort with air conditioning the staff at the hotel are very helpful we absolutely love this hotel and are always going to stay here when visiting Bangkok
