breakfast was great and enjoyed the 3 large pools.All the staff were happy and close to night life. the rooms are get old and need abit of TLC. |

I really liked the pool area and the closeness to restaurants, bars and shopping The hotel rooms were very basic. Beds were very hard as were the pillows (like concrete) The pool area was good but I found the surrounds of the pool very slippery (one woman broke her arm) and quite a bit of mould around the pool tiles. The shower has no volume and the airconditioning couldn't be altered to make the room cooler. The staff at reception were not helpful when I asked to have the no smoking room I had requested. |

The central location was great, easy access to main streets, walking distance to bars and restaurants but far enough away to have peace & quiet. Three pool areas and our view from our room of the main front pool closest to reception was excellent. We stayed at this hotel the week before for one night and loved the room view and comfort. We cancelled our phi phi island trip to come back to phuket and stay at Patong Merlin for a further four nights only to be shoved to the back of the hotel in a stale smelling room with no view. We asked to be moved and got moved two doors forward .. same problem. Finally after hassling and getting dirty looks from staff we got put in the area of the hotel that we were initially in the week before. This is only because we stipulated the location of hotel overlooking the main pool area. Found it hard to communicate with staff as they struggled to understand English. |

The service staff were firendly, professional and courteous at all times - the gardeners, cleaners and waiting staff - excellent! I would have liked to have at least 1 fluent English speaking staff member behind the information desk at peak times. Asking questions and not having anyone to refer these to became frustrating by the end of the trip. This service should be provided considering the vast majority of your customers are English speaking. The service staff seemed to speak better English than the desk staff at times. |

Great location close to everything. Pool's were fantastic and food was just a good. Cold water for a cple of mornings, rude reception at check in after many hours of travel to get there (room wasnt ready). |

It was very convenient to walk everywhere. Everything was walking distance for food, drinks and shopping. The beds were really hard and so were the pillows!! But all you had to do was ask and they put a comforter on the bed to make it a bit softer. |

Good location, quite good value for money, 3 swimming pools, friendly staff,every evening was a live music Not esspecially good breakfast,some rooms smells because of moisture, hotel needs refit, TV it is a disaster (very old small tv sets, luck of channels and most of them snowing), reception desk suggested me to pay in advance for whole stay,the pillows were not enough soft for me |

Das Hotel ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und ordentlich eingerichtet. Alles in allem ein tolles Hotel. Das Frühstücksbuffett ist sehr gut und hat viel Auswahl. Der Pool und die Gartenlandschaft drumherum ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Das Personal ist etwas unfreundlich gewesen. |
