Rooms were clean and comfortable including a comfy king size bed and balcony. Grounds were beautiful including the pesticides free garden. Pool was large and refreshing. Great location - connected to the Royal Garden Shopping center, across the street from the beach, and a short walk/ride to the Walking Street.

Only complaint I have is that the onsite resaurants did not offer many vegetarian options. (one contained oyster sauce) What we did eat, both non-veg and veg, were not good and overpriced. Better and cheaper options outside of hotel complex.

Location was good and courtyard was very nice.

I asked to move to a room with a jacuzzi tub, paid an extra 4000 thb for the last night and the room only had an oversized tub. Hotel seemed a little old.

Of the two elevators, only one worked during our four days of our stay. The rooms in the main building (I was in room 448) are dated and run down relative to what I was paying for. The Pay Per View didn't work and a dvd player was 200 Baht with a very limited movie selection (though I was offered the dvd player for free after I complained). Tv did not work the first day and the remote didn't work well for the other three. The Macaws (birds) located by the pool are exceedingly noisy in the mornings and all other times for that matter (why are they even there?? If I wanted to hear the cries of the Macaw, I would go to South America). The sheets we were given on the third day had some kind of peculiar stain on them that I will leave to the reader's imagination.

The staff were great. They were the best thing about the hotel. The breakfast was good. Internet was good. Nice decor.

I was surprised that the room was not much bigger or better than the rooms I have previously stayed at in Pattaya costing a fraction of the price. The view wasn't that much better either and certainly not as good as I expected it to be considering the extra I had paid for a room with a view. The room faced north which meant that the view was mostly of the town. One lift was out of action for much of our stay so the one working lift took a bit of time to arrive and was often crowded. The tv was intermittent, the remote didn't work very well and there was only one English movie channel. Yes I know I could have complained, but at the price I paid I did not expect that I would need to, nor did I want to taint my stay by complaining considering that this was supposed to be a special break for me and my partner. I'll just put it down to experience.

The swimming pool is huge and nice has its bar with amazing gardens, location, and the sea view only

The furniture is too old. The hotel is too old every this is old, and it’s expensive comparing with others new 5 starts hotels

The hotel staff good. Service good. But the hotel itself, specially for deluxe and Premier deluxe room deserve three star hotel. I have been upgraded last night to Suite after so many problems since arrival. It is the only room style which you can give four stars. Whole impression: Does not worth the money you pay while some others 4 stars hotels are same and more cheaper. Recomended only for suite rooms at same rate for deluxe premier Dissapointed with Marriot Pattaya.

There is a garden in the middle which make the rooms dark. There is no or les daylight coming into the room.(lower levels) Also lot of mosquitoes in the evening.

The price of the hotel room incl. tax is rather high because the romm does not provide anything special (small, not very luxurious in comparison for example with the Shangri-la in singapore at the same price level)

Очень хороший отель для романтического отдыха. Мы брали номер с видом на море. Попросили, чтобы нам дали этаж повыше (нам дали 9-й), т.к. на этажах с 7-го и ниже море видно достаточно плохо. В гостинице большой красивый бассейн, но топчанов не всегда хватает, особенно тех, кот. расположены на солнечной стороне бассейна. Через дорогу от гостиницы море и пляж, но мы туда ходили только фотографироваться, т.к. на пляже толпа народу, а нам хотелось, чтобы людей вокруг было поменьше. Сходили на массаж в спа-салоне гостиницы. Обстановка в салоне достаточно красивая, но массаж примерно такой же, как и в салонах на улице через дорогу. Цена же массажа в гостинице значительно дороже. Хотя мы не пожалели, что один раз переплатили за обстановку. Напротив отеля много ресторанчиков и массажных салонов. Относительно недалеко находится рынок, где любители фруктов могут что-то себе купить (но надо спрашивать в гостинице, как туда дойти, т.к. без подсказки не найти). Рядом с отелем находится большой торговый центр. Из нескольких посещенных в Паттайе, этот нам больше всего понравился.

Нам повезло и никаких негативных впечатлений отдых в отеле не оставил. Хотя, судя по отзывам, многие люди жаловались на то, что из окна не видно море (надо брать этаж повыше), что номера и мебель несколько староваты (но поддерживаются во вполне рабочем состоянии), что попугаи у бассейна громко кричат (мы увидели только подставку для попугаев, они сами, видимо, были в отпуске), что какой-то из двух лифтов не работает (во время нашего отдыха работали оба) и т.д. У нас ничего подобного не встретилось и мы остались очень довольны, что выбрали именно этот отель.

הזמנו שירות חדרים,קפה ועוגה,לקח הרבה זמן להביא,העוגה היתה קטנה והקפה לא טעים.

الصراحة الفندق في قمة الروعة وملاصق في المول يعني تنزل من لفت الغرفة وتاخذ يمين وتدخل المول على طول ونظافة وروعة ويصلح للعوائل وانا كنت مع العائلة زكان عددنا 15 وخذنا كنت روم وانصح في وقريب من كل المطاعم العربية والبحر

Sehr gutes Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal, bei dem wirklich alle Englisch sprechen. Ein absolut schön angelegter Pool, Tropisch / Idyllisch, nachts sehr schön beleuchtet. Kaum zu glauben: das Hotel liegt mit beiden Seiten direkt an der Beachroad / Secondroad- und von dem Trubel bekommt man absolut nichts mit! Frühstück ist als sehr gut und sehr reichhaltig für asiatische Verhältnisse zu bewerten, das Essen Abends bzw. in der Elephantbaar ist nicht billig- aber dafür absolut lecker zubereitet, reichhaltig und schön angerichtet. Die Theke am Pool kann u.a. auch von der Wasserseite benutzt werden- Spa und Fitness sind jetzt im 3. OG im RoyalGarden unterbegbracht- Ausstattung und Personal ebenfalls sehr gut! In wenigen Metern ist man an der Walkingstreet, das Central ist über Bahttaxis schnell zu erreichen- zu Fuß sind es max. 10 min. Tolle Lage- ich denke, wir waren nicht das letzte Mal dort!

Unbedingt auf ein Zimmer mit Meerblick bestehen- diese sind bereits renoviert und haben das, was man als Badezimmer bezeichen kann- Poolview hat ein sehr kleines Badezimmer mit grünen Fließen- nicht so toll! Solche Zimmer sind m.M. in etlichen anderen Hotels in Pattaya schöner und besser eingerichtet und teilweise für ein Viertel des Preises zu bekommen- allerdings gibt es dort keinen Meerblick, und ins RoyalGarden kommt man auch nicht trockenen Fußes! Alles in allem ein etwas älteres, aber doch schön hergerichtetes Hotel (gerade die renovierten Zimmer), das ein unglaubliches tropisches Flair ausstrahlt. Die Preise für Getränke / Essen sind für Thailändische Verhältnisse gesalzen- ein Gericht auf der Karte kostet ca. 300 Thb, ein Wasser 110 Thb, Cocktails 250-300 Thb. das Abendbuffet p.P. 850 Thb (allerdings mit allen Arten von Meeresfrüchten + all you cant Eat). Hier sollte vieleicht etwas nachgebessert werden- entweder das Angebot an intenationalen Speisen erweitern, oder die Preise etwas senken bzw. an das Hilton anpassen!
