Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort    

We stayed in a beautiful room with a small private pool. It was clean, the service is good. Breakfast is OK only. Beach is good, although the area has better ones in terms of sand softness and water depth.

Hot tub in the room was old and poor quality compared to other hotels we've used The spirit drinks! Are definitely watered down, it is an expensive bar, so don't order stick to the beer in the bottles, Should have a free shuttle bus to the airport, I ended up haggling with a taxi driver outside paid 400 baht hotel wanted to charge me 600.

Staff were all well drilled and excellent. Pool, beach bar and beach wonderful. Breakfast good. Grounds kept immaculately although most of the space is covered with hotel buildings.

Rooms quirky and mostly rather dark. Ours had the wash basin in the bedroom opposite the bed with a small adjoining room for the shower and a separate room for the wc. Felt more like a bathroom than a bedroom. Food very expensive but many better value options nearby. As we spent something like £1500 in total with the hotel it is irritating to be charged £2 for a broken soap dish -wrong message I feel .

Great location on the beach with easy walking distance to all the resort facilities.

The drinks are very expensive. The hotel advertise them at one price and then add on a 10% service charge followed by 7% tax when you come to pay. We had cocktails in their happy hour and they seemed to have been watered down or very little alcohol put in them. There is buiding work going on all day at the moment so far from being relaxing there is costant noise all day. There was no mention of this when we booked. The staff are very nice but they hover over you at breakfast making you feel uncomfortable. For an expensive hotel this does not really make the grade.

Nice hotel, nice hydro pool, staff friendly and they do serve you coffee in the morning, you don't have to make your own as mention before.

The beach was dirty, one day we couldn't swim, the other days we had to avoid the floating objects. The beach in front of the hotel could be cleaned by the staff not only once a day in order to keep the sun beds area clean.

Small hotel thus staff attentive. Good location.

Rooms a bit small. Also no full mirror thus women have a problem getting dressed. Breakfast for vegetarians slightly limited.

The resort locates at a beautiful beach and seaview swimming pool. Restaurant is just right at the beach so that we can have breakfast and enjoy the view. Room is clean and staffs are helpful and friendly. Resort is on Lamai walk street so lots of shops, Thai food or European food can be choosen. Excellent place for honeymoon stay.

Just minor problem, air-con is just right face on the bed, so it is not comfortable for sleep on.

Luxury, comfort and amazing vibe. The resort was just relaxing and beautiful. the only problem during our stay was the bad weather (non-stop rain)- but that is not the fault of the resort... I would advise however, checking the weather forecast for Lamai before booking. The beach in front of the resort is very private. The spa in the resort was relaxing and the treatments we chose were good- using all natural ingredients. The staff were incredibely helpful and friendly.

The design of our room was very poor with the TV on the side wall so 1 party could not see. The air conditioning unit was positioned poorly again directing cold air onto your face all night. We had to reverse the bedding and sleep with our heads at the tail of the bed. The internet connection was initially very poor and unable to log on, however after 3 days it was fixed. The worst point was the complex is under refurbishment with constant builders noise throughout the day, which is not conducive to a relaxing holiday. No mention of this fact when I booked.

Lovely room. Quiet location. Clean. Good breakfast. Very nice beach. Reasonably priced. Nice location, shopping and restaurants were a couple of minutes walk away

Nothing wrong with the hotel at all. Just thailand in general. Too many dirty fat old european men purchasing the services of young thai girls. some very young. kind of ruins the mood.

Location by the private beach was good

Lammai Beach is a very poorly resourced area and there were few good facilities locally. The hotel was in need of refurbishment and the rooms were without any view from the windows some were completely opaque and others faced on to the wall outside the room. The breakfast was only served until 10:00 am which for a hoiday hotel is not good at all!! Indeed when asking for a capuccino at 10:15 whilst still in the breakfast area I was told I would have to pay for it. No way!!!!

Villa designs were nice and comfortable. Very friendly staff.

The power and water were cut once or twice and the tap water was very salty even to just shower with. The spa treatments were expensive compared to the widely available alternatives.

Convenient location, steps away from Lamai Beach Road and restaurants. Outstanding spa, and very romantic restaurants. Great beach.

Luxury hotel in great location! Fantastic pool area and great location on Lamai beach. Close to shops and bars if you want them but can easily stay in hotel and totally avoid the craziness of Thailand! Staff are excellent, so friendly and helpful. Rooms fab too.

Our room smelled quite bad whenever we put the aircon on

Personnel is very kind and helpful, the resort is in a great location, quite in the evening and at walking distance to restaurants and bars. The hotel is very nice, booked the hydro villa and it was very cozy and with a great privacy. Asked for baby sitting, late departure room availability, baby cot, a bathtub for baby bath, all was provided and staff always supported my requests in a short time. Bed was king sized and not too hard, that is a good thing considering Thailand standards. Internal restaurant was good and not too overprized, even if we often opted for external restaurants for more local experience and great value per food ratio. The private beach is great, clean and 2 minutes walk from the rooms.

The shower in the room (h307) was a pain, impossible to set the right temperature (very hot or cold, no options). Asked to change room (another hydro villa), checked the shower and found a similar problem, this time the temperature never got warm. It seems to be a problem with the hydro villas, another shower I tested in a standard room was fine. Pity for the money we paid. Another issue is the inconvenient access from outside with a stroller, there are two dozen steps to cross and no slides to use, so the only way was to lift the stroller with my wife on both way in and out. Very inconvenient. Found eventually a secondary entrance reserved to the staff that was easier, even if apparently forbidden to access for tourists

Wow! Amazing hotel. I do travel a lot both in business and for holiday. Pavilion was one of the best hotels, I ever stayed at! I can highly recommend it

It was quiet and met our needs. The private pool was great. The Thai cooking classes offered were good fun and should be tried.

If swimming in the private pool you can be seen from the units opposite on the upper floor. The front walls of the pool surroundings need to be raised to the level of the door frame in units 302 & 304, this would afford complete privacy. This would not be a costly venture to achieve.
