the front desk is unfriendly, they might have a fake smile but couldnt really help us.
on the second night we came back from a snorkeling day around 4pm, it was rainy, the water of the shower and bashin were brown, so we asked them to come and have a check.
after 2 hours of letting the water flow out, the colour didnt change and they went to check the reservoir...
still we didnt took a shower...
waited 2 hours again and decided to go for dinner, told the front desk that is just next to the restaurant to follow up this case. they tell us that its the case in all the resort, i just notice that i was the only one asking that to them and seeing them very "laid-back".
i am a very patient person, because i know that there might be different possibilities, or the leads are cracked and sand could get in, or due to the rain, some mud might go into the reservoir.
in any case, we finished dinner around 10pm and decided to go to the front desk that told us thta everything is done and that we could take , finally, our shower.
nothing has changed.
i would like to make a few points about hotel servicing,
- we dont make guests wait hours and not giving them follow ups, waiting in the room for hours isnt really what we are supposed to do, give informations every 30 mins, that will calm the guests,
-give other options to take shower, because ocean water isnt really comfortable especially for women.
-give true informations, not the whole resort water has the same problem , otherwise the kitchen of the restaurant shouldnt be serving food, i do think the water is coming from the same source. i asked other hotel guests and they dont have any problem, even went to our neightboors up and down and they didnt had problems.
- re-locate us to another room not after i have been annoying them by calling every 5 mins to know the situations ( i was already very patient for the first 4 hours).
- guests arent the kings but make sure they feel comfortable and worriless.
stayed there during low season, we had a few days of rain and cloudy day on Phuket so we were delighted to have sun shine on Phi Phi Island,
sand quality is much better then on Those beaches of Phuket,
we could relax finally on the beaches without all those amount of people , no people selling those watercycle stuff for 1000THB,
taxi boats were friendly and brought us straight to nice spots,
at least during snorkeling, we were surrounded by fishes, we could finally find Nemo, had to see Dragons (lizards) for free in the resort, see monkeys as well,
the restaurant managing staff is great, only the rest are a bit slow,
the location of the hotel is perfect, we could have the west side beaches as the east side beaches, that changes a lot since we could head to the one where the waves arent that high.
