The view from our room was amazing, breakfast was terrific, staff were friendly and helpful. We needed to get a lift to our room because we were quite far uphill but the service was very efficient so we never had to wait long at all.
Can't think of any negatives...
Very nice place to stay on Phi Phi Don. Very nice beach - can see sharks and a lot of fish every day during snorkeling (Shark Point). Rooms are really nice - overlooking the sea. Breakfast was very good and food/cocktails in the restaurant also quite nice.
It takes 30min to walk into town and you have to walk through the forest (up the hills, no light) or you can take a taxi boat. The boats getting more expensive in the evening (after 6pm). A lot of tour boats are coming to visit long beach every day - so it is a little bit crowded and not very quiet during the day (longtail boats). But we did a lot of diving and snorkeling - also in other areas - therefore it was o.k. No location if you prefer to do party every night in town.
Great view at the end of the Long Beach. Hotel organised free transport from pier to the hotel. Good personnel (very friendly, good English knowledge) and clean accomodations. Great bar. Short ways to massages, restraurants et cetera.
Orange and other juices at breakfast were terrible (artifical and sugar sweet!). I would expect organic juices in a country which such a plenty of fruits.
Location and room。
The location is amazing and the beach is beautiful.
The staff are terrible, could not be bothered to do anything and seem more interested in their own social life then actually doing there job. Definitely need new management as the resort has a lot of potential, Our room was quite dated for the price we paid.
Waking up each morning and looking out to a gorgeous view
Got chased by 3 monkeys on the grounds which gave me and my husband a fright
The wonderful sea view aswe could see Phi Phi Leh very clearly from the room. The rooms were amazing (massive balcony with 2 sun loungers) and the staff were the friendliest we met in Thailand..the pool is literally 3 feet from the beach and the restaurant & bar are actually on the beach..without doubt the best hotel I've ever stayed in.
No bad experiences at the hotel but be advised it is only accessible by long tail boat/ water taxi..although any hotel in phi phi is accessed this way unless you stay in tonsai village.
The resort is located on a hill on Long Beach on Phi Phi. We had a deluxe ocean view cabin towards the top and it was just perfect. Incredible view, and we were given a ride up any time we needed in the little jitney. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable, and the staff, food and service were all great
This is beyond the resort's control, but there is a lot of boat traffic going back and forth in front of the resort all day long. The boats are extremely loud so it is not as serene as it should be, given the layout of the resort and the proximity to the beautiful sea. They should make the boats go around the reef instead of through it, to make it quieter and to avoid running over snorkelers, as we witnessed near misses many times in 2 days.
- probably the best view of the island - good snorkeling spot - nice restaurant along the beach - quiet area compared to central village - PADI center directly at the hotel - entertainment in the evening at the beach bar - smily and helpful staff
- pity that the hotel taxi boat is only free for check in and check out - room not isolated to the neighboor's one, can hear everything
Beautiful beach location , we had the lead in room type which was a simple hut but great view and had all you need , would recommend upgrading to next room type if you can but really your not in there much.
Mosquitos in the bathroom, could do with some spray in the room.
Location, personal, friendly people
Quality of the room, especially toilet and shower were poor for such a price.
We spent the extra and went for a grand deluxe sea view room which was 100% worth the money! The room was amazing and exactly what we were expecting. The only thing that let the hotel down really was breakfast as it is really basic and the staff are not that attentive. You do get beach towels and with our room we also got free items in the fridge. I would def stay here again.
The thing I liked was the location of the bungalow and the beach , Free mini bar
The place is not finished and I fell on the road as the pavement had a big gap at the side. Staff were unfriendly Wifi hardly worked Breakfast was very poor The restaurant food was over priced for the portion not reasonable .
Staff very friendly. Just amazing place to stay
beautiful, quiet location, you need to pay 150 baht each to get to the town centre on a boat but it's worth it if you want a quiet, relaxing location had free wifi which even worked in our partment which it was not supposed to
it's not excactly cheap, especially room service. had to walk up the hill to our apartment but the staff give you a lift when you check-in and out so you don't carry your luggage. If you stuggled with the walk im sure they would assist even more.
The beach is nice.. But don't think of partying !!! For this U will need to stay in the town.. Which is 40 minutes walk in to Miskito jungle and no roads unless u want to be a Trazan
We stayed for one night .. No electricity since check-in at 12 util 5 pm.. Also no water for the same.. Hotel couldn't do anything.. They blame the gov for disconnecting the power.
We had free wifi in our bungalow.
Monkeys outside on our balcony mugged me for my fruit! I don't like monkeys!
Nice beach. Ok breakfast.
Nice location on the Long Beach, however, far from Tonsai and all the action. Need to take the long boat to Tonsai and the return trip is inconvenient if one wishes to stay for a night out. Not to mention that it can get expensive. There was no hot water in my room. The rooms are not close to three stars, maybe a two star (especially the bathroom) so the hotel is overpriced. Next time I would definitely stay in Tonsai for one third of the price and same/better accommodation.
Terrible service. No wifi in the bedroom.
Location. One of the best spots for snorkeling I have ever experienced.
Limited TV channels. Wifi is a bit hit and miss in the bungalows.
The beach, a good view, and a tiny kitten are the best part of this resort.
The room had more bugs than I could count, so you can not have any food in the room. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. Room service always gave us just one towel each time they made up the room. The staff was usually helpful, but unfriendly. They put someone else' s laundry with our own. I asked them repeatedly if they were charging my credit card in Thai Baht, they said yes, but of course they charged me in my local currency at their horrible exchange rate.
The accommodation was great - amazing views from the accommodation and a good spacious area to stay in. The resort was thankfully away from the main Phi Phi busy town - which was only accessible via Longtail boat - and would work out costly if you had wanted to spend most of your time there - which I didn't. The best part about my stay was the snorkelling just literally meters from the beach and still within the safe cordoned off area (so that you're not in the path of Longtail Boats) - the array of species of fish that could be seen just meters away from the beach just blew me away. Also even without snorkelling you had the pleasure of being surrounded by Clown Fish whilst simply cooling down in the sea. Breakfast at the hotel was good - and with plenty of choice.
I didn't find the staff too friendly. Also generally the resort had a bit of a holiday camp feel to it - so if you're looking for a tranquil luxurious get away here - this isn't the place for you. I just think the resort needs to perhaps try to become a little more exclusive and fend off that holiday camp feel.
the wonderful location
Room was really nice. You have your own private beach with the hotels own private bar and Restuarant. Evening entertainment. Great place to cut away!!
No wifi in bedroom.
