On the plus side, the beach wasn't crowded and didn't have anyone hassling you to buy food etc. There were lots of good restaurants on the beach, and the village had a few shops and a 24-hour convenience store. Unfortunately, the beach wasn't particularly clean, and it seamed that nobody actually cleaned it anyway. Also, there were a few too many stray dogs in the mornings. Nevertheless, I love the place as it's very natural and relaxing, and you can easily walk from the airport with hand luggage if you're only staying a few days.David - 2.0Scored 2.0

Nai Yang is very poplar as it is close to the airport. It has a very local laid back vibe which people enjoy. Beach, food, massage, markets, good range of hotels options. One of the best beaches in Phuket.

Nai Yang beach is a gorgeous stretch of soft sand and blue sea, relatively quiet in contrast to the rest of Phuket and so close to the airport without the planes being a bother. There are some beachside restaurants with delicious food and great service and a few shops and stalls in the streets behind.
