The only big minus is a shortage of sun beds on the beach. Part of the resort is also hotel, and there are more guests than sun beds. The Germans are very healthy, sporty, well organized and „morning“nation. If you want to have a sun bed for the day, you have to attend the morning race „ Hey mama, we have a sun beds! “at 7 a.m. It is forbidden to hold back the sun beds, but really nobody have controlled over it. I hope they will solve this problem since there is sincerely enough place on the beach for more beds. Another problem was that they haven’t a room for us for the first night (I understand they prefer travel agency which gives them more guests), but regardless they provided a nice apartment in a neighbor Cocopalm Resort (very pleasant, I can recommend it as well).
Nice, large apartments in a beautiful tropical garden, helpful staff, very nice beach and a clean sea (!). Quiet zone, away from the crowds, discos and entertainment (which you can reach by taxi or tuc-tuc - recommended). You get good value for the money you pay. Most guests are from the German travel agency, but that is not a problem, besides the unusable „russian“hotels. Good and satisfied breakfast, and also during day you can eat here pretty well, or you use any restaurant in the neighborhood. But, if you want to try the gastronome orgasm, walk on the beach to right about 40 minutes to the beach restaurant (pub?) of Moonhut bungalows. Sea isn’t there so clean and also the resort is old, but has the best cuisine I have ever tried in Thailand. Start with the coconut soup and tamarind chicken and you will not be able to stop yourself. For the way back use tuc-tuc, it´s much easier.
