We stayed in Chiang Mai for two days. This hotel is amazing. Beautiful hall, very nice staff and the room with direct door to the swimming pool was a must. The room is big, clean with a very big bathroom. The breakfast has a lot of variety and in the last day we had a flight at 06AM and they provided us a breakfast for us to get into the airport. In the hall it has a place that organize trips (we booked one to Chiang Rai) that is very helpful. On the left side of the hotel, has a big restaurant that organizes all days a special event/dinner in the night, with a traditional presentation that we recommend to go. One of the most amazing hotels that we stayed until now.
Staff were amazing, the friendliest out of all the hotels we stayed in in Thailand. Could not do enough for us. Grounds are absolutely beautiful. The hotel is boutique, traditional and contemporary all in one. Definitely recommend!
The pool access room and the staff
The beds-very hard mattress. The distance from resort centre but that was down to my research but if you want to be in chiang Mai this is not hotel for you
Room Wonderful Pool Friendly helpful staff Easy travel to old city
The pool, very nice, our accommodation was good
The hardest bed Iv ever had to sleep in. It felt like a solid wood panel with two inch foam on The kitchen and breakfast was a disgrace. Just terrible , Iv travelled a lot in retirement, and this is by far the worst experience
Gorgeous lagoon pool. Breakfast buffet excellent selection.
Shower was awesome but needed cleaning. Dirty grout between tiles.
Our room with direct pool access
The bed was a bit too hard
the resort is extremely pretty and pay attention to details. the stuff are nice and helpful, location near BIG C, 5-10 minutes walk from big C, but a little far away from the city center.
the location is 5-10 minutes walk from big C, but a little far away from the city center. take taxi will cost 150 bhat.
The room was beautiful, the bed was really comfortable, the staff were really helpful and polite. It was quiet, calming, clean and just a beautiful place. There is a 7/11 and a big supermarket both within 5 minute walk so easy to stock up on snacks and water..
Only minor downside is there are no other restaurants/bars close by so you have to get a taxi into town. However there is always a taxi there almost straight away plus the free shuttle, so it's not really a problem.
the environment is perfect, and teh staffs are perfect, though the room near the street is a little noisy
the shuttle bus to town is hard to book, and we have to take hotel's own "taxi" to get in town, get to airport and anywhere, whose price is much farer than fair.
The rooms were so clean and had so many facilities I was honestly surprised and the staff were so friendly and happy to help
The wifi didn't work in the room for a couple days and it was about a 20 minute drive from town, but easy enough to get a taxi/Tuk-Tuk
It was really enjoyable. The room was great. The SPA was a great pleasure. The restaurant is very good, the breakfast is awesome.
The staff were very friendly, but the star of the show was the Hotel itself. I'm not too sure who the designer was - but I'm sure he's quite content with the way it turned out. There's something very magical about the entire resort from the moment you see the entrance, to the journey to your rooms. The layout of the area is too much to take in all at once, every day we found a new nook or cranny that took our breath away, from the spa, to the little bridges across the rivers - nothing here was unplanned. I wish we could have stayed for weeks. It's a little far outside any areas, but a quick Taxi or the free Shuttle Bus to the night market quickly solves this issue.
I asked for a Double Room in my booking, and we were given 2 twin beds pushed together - I would have expected more. Not the most pleasant experience with a partner as the divide kept being uncomfortable. Breakfast was extraordinarily expensive. We had some very simple food, and ended up spending over 1000 Baht (Over 20 Euro). We were then abruptly questioned by a junior member of staff if we had paid - right after paying! Rather embarrassing.
Comfort and the bedroom space
The breakfast is really Poor, for a 5 star hotel... So many travel group.
Excellent service throughout. Found it nice and peaceful at night and although there's a kareoke bar and you can hear it sometimes it doesn't disturb the peace much. Would stay here again...
Had all the luxury for a 5 star Hotel, we enjoyed our stay, and will stay there again
Swimming pool and the room we choose was big.
Hotel is far from city center about 120 baths by car and in the hotel they CAN'T call a taxi for you only offer their taxi service for 300baths...amazing. One day in breakfast i ordered a Coke for 111baths next day i took it by my own and for two times they tried to make me pay my own coke saying the gave it to me...amazing again!!! They should behave like a 5 stars hotel ans help customer.
The resort is amazing, the swimming pool is very nice, the room is ok
The room wasn't so clean, the staff don't know English
The room was large and very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was good. The best thing was the nearby night market on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It had great food and we found some awesome second-hand clothing too. It's in the carpark of the Big C shopping centre.
The service was not as professional and attentive as it could have been, plus there were small aspects like loose and missing tiles in the pool, which indicated a general need for maintenance. Also, the courtesy bus only runs into and out of town 3 times per day. We found ourselves catching tuk tuks or taxis quite a lot, which cost 200baht each time.
A bit far from the city
Beautiful surrounding and rooms. Breakfast
Menu is limited and quality of food is not that great. Staff at reception is rude. Had to pay 1000B for later check-out, how is this 5* service? Location. They provide a free transfer to old town but on fixed times, otherwise hotel taxi 300B one way
Excellent hotel, friendly staff and good value for money.
beech was beautiful
very expensive for what is really just like any other villa resort Takes at least 1/2 hour to get to phucket town.
close to BIG C
We liked the style of the hotel and how the trees kept it cool. The swimming pool area was nice and it is one of the biggest pools I've seen in a hotel... Very nice indeed.
Bigger sized beds in our rooms would have made a difference as we did in the other hotels we stayed in our trip to Thailand. Was not cheap and easy getting taxi's from the hotel to the night markets. Also more lighting on the paths at night will be great!
