The location was great,it's near the train station also a short taxi ride to Khoa San road. The rooms were massive, clean and comfortable. We loved the outdoor pools and jacuzzis. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we will definitely be goin back again. Just the fact you had to pay an additional £5-10 per day (roughly) to use gym, sauna and steam room facilities...I Am pretty sure that when I booked the hotel there was no mention of additional costs for these activities, but I may be wrong. Only a minor complaint as we loved our stay there!!

The accommodation was very good for the price, and it included breakfast which is a must for us. We also liked having tea and coffee in our suite, that is also a must for us. The down side was it is a bit awkward to get to and from unless you are prepared to use taxis. We did use the canal boats often, but these closed at around 8.00 pm making it complicated if we wanted to go out at night. We had a meal in the Japanese restaurant, which was excellent. We commend the staff for their efficiency and helpfulness. See above comments. It is a bit out of the way if you wanted to dine out and walk to a restaurant.

First of all I have to say that right from the beginning we realized that it was a big mistake to stay at the hotel. They took us to our suite which was so far away from reception so it was quite a trek. They took us to the room which was very dissapointing. There was hardly any seating area for a family of 6 and a suite of 3 bedrooms. The beds in the rooms were squeezed in so there was no room to walk around the bed or even to open one of the wardrobes! No english children channels on the tv, most of the channels were in thai. They sent some one up to get us english tv and she tried for half an hour and then just left. We then went out and spoke to reception and they said that later they would send someone to fix it. When we got back our key didn't work so we had to trek all the way back to reception where they sent some one up which took a good 15mins! He said we had to move rooms to a better one but he made us pack up and move round the corner to exactly the same one. We had so many problems with the key all the time it was terrible racing backwards and forwards without even an apology from them. After all the problems with the key and making us move all our stuff out of the room at 11.00 at night they tried to make me pay for a glass that was broken in the room! When we checked out after 2 nights we went to the reception to get our bill, my husband went back to the room as he had forgotten something in one of the drawers. The receptionist said to me that the maid checked our room and there was a broken glass! First of all I was shocked that even if there was a broken glass I can't believe they even mentioned it, what kind of a hotel makes you pay for a broken glass! Anyway when my husband got to the room he saw a maid walk into our room with a broken glass in her hand that she'd brought from another room. I have to mention also there was a kitchen in the suite but every cupboard was empty, I didn't even see any glasses or plates or cutlery even. This was definately the worst hotel we stayed in in Thailand and we stayed in five all in all. Check the review scores of all the hotels before you book....it really works!

We chose this for it's location to other city areas and the riverboat is right there to catch and we used this in busy times. We were in an executive suite and it was luxurious and we were well looked after by staff. Superior room would certainly give us what we need in the future though. All taxi and Tuktuk drivers knew where the hotel was. Breakfast included is a great deal, the best we had in Bangkok. The pool area is great to relax in after a day out and the restaurants were all pleasant dining. We enjoyed going down to the pool bar for dessert in the evening or catching the sun and a cool swim in the morning before we started our day. We would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you This is a big hotel that holds conferences and therefore some patience is required at times. The check in and check out was easy considering how busy they were, but a little more greeting and friendliness would help the lobby desk.

very good location, every tourist places are easy available with cheap transport by tuc-tuc, comfortable outdoor swimming pool is great plus how to relax, spacious, clean room, you can choose for more restaurants in hotel or in the same building is "food centre" with delicious local food in good prices. tourist information centre in hotel is in fact travel agency, which is trying sells overpriced trips, would be nice, if they could offer more information, what to do in Bangok for individual trips.

Location is ok, near a market, water-bus stop, and not too far from where we wanted to be. We appreciated the 2 bedrooms (w/ living area), which is why I chose this hotel in the first place. The pools were nice. Included breakfast was good. I wish we had stayed elsewhere. The location wasn't great. The public areas of the hotel were beautiful, but the room was dusty & dirty, ancient wall-paper, etc. Hotel has 3 towers, very complicated to get into & out of room (plan a 10 minute journey to the street!). The stairwells were filled with trash and used for storage (extra chairs, linens, desks, etc), so it would be terribly difficult to evacuate in case of emergency. The gym looked nice but was very expensive, no wireless internet and the available internet computers also terribly expensive. There's a market right outside, but only 1 restaurant within walking distance (the hotel does have several restaurants, but all of course, expensive). Very unhelpful and unfriendly staff. In short, this hotel was ok, but much too expensive for what it was, and I cannot recommend it.

The pool areas (there are 2 different) were great! Not walking distance, if you travel with kids you can not walk to Kao San or any sights and there are no restaurants close by.

Good clean rooms, reasonable prices. Everything cost extra. Internet was not dependable but cost a lot of money, Restaurants were very expensive on site, with no alternatives close by. One evening my wife and I wanted to have a glass of wine on the patio and the house wine cost us $8 per glass. That is a bit high for my budget, so we grabbed a bottle at 7-11 and drank it in our room. Staff is extremely impersonal but the manager is a good man. I recommend Pantip Suites highly, we will go there on every future trip to Bangkok.

The pool bar and the pool. The kids liked it. The hotel staff was not helpful at all. We could not fetch any useful information from them. No travel agent in the hotel. The Internet did not work for hours and days in a row. The pool bar closes at 12:00pm.

My family and me stayed for 4 nights. The hotel got big spacious room and value for money with breakfast. Hotel receptionist were polite and helpful. The houskeeping was properly done whenever we went out of the rooms every morning. Not very near to city, need to take transport like taxi and tuk tuk. The transport service staff became impolite once you did not use their service; they will just simply walk away. They are not in favor for you to take public transport. You have to find your own way by asking around if you want to save money.

The 3-bedroom suites were great for families with young children. Value for money although the rooms were dated. Location was not good as we had trouble getting taxi drivers to take us there as they didn't want to go into that area. The Bobae wholesale market was downstairs and it was very messy! Traffic was bad around the area. We were surprised to see stalls set up right at the driveway of the hotel in the morning!

The breakfast buffet had a great selection. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were fantastic. The hotel rooms were a little outdated in the decor and the shower head is more geared to an Asian person. It is quite low but other than that cannot complain.

“This is my second time stay at this hotel. Both times I also asked for late check out and the hotel fulfill my request. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. During this stay the hotel's staff remember me and this actually make me feel warm. The room I initial took was had a bad internet connection, the staff was very helpful, they even help to check other available room with good connection then I change to the new room. The room provided a big working desk and working chair which is very good for business traveler like me.” Shiun, Bangkok |
