The location was perfect for us.the staff were very friendly, happy and helpfull, I think we must have arrived in off season as no food in hotel such a shame but food around the area was excellent,
The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, and the shower was poor no power to it as in water preasure,
Great location in old town! Lots of food and night bazaar ten minute walk away.
Owner is a scam- wanted me to pay twice the amount of the room to use the deposit box (1000B) in the room i already paid for! Shouldnt that come as part of the room?! Asked him to book a taxi so i could catch my plane early in the morning- he said he did for the time i requested- in the morning staff had been told the wrong time- had to flag my own tuk tuk for a cheaper price than the owner had originally said. He's bad news. Find somewhere in the area to stay for cheaper!
The Staff where nice and the hotel had some cool decorations
They place was under construction during our stay which ruined it for us
Internet connection very nice staff
Swimming Pool, wifi and excellent location but in the room we heard no noise from the busy atmospher outside. Decent size room with a safe.
Great stay was travelling with my elderly mum and aunt - staff were flexible and fun!!
Thé pool but dont look around
Tthe hôtel need desperatly restoration
great staff willing to assist in any way they can . The hotel is older but has a great atmosphere and curios every where . The hotel kitchen serves up some exceptional meals at a fair price. Not far from the old city ,local businesses in the area are also happy to accommodate you every wish too ie. laundry convenience store and others .I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in ChangMai
there is nothing I did nt like about this hotel
The room (I got the de-luxe), location was also good.
Hotel overall conditions. It needs a thorough refurbishment. The elevator wasn't always working (my room was on the 5th floor). Wi-Fi working on and off. One evening whilst I was having a shower the water stopped and it took more than two hours to be rapaired!
pool, wifi, the gorilla sitting in the front lobby
construction workers right outside my window, hot and cold showers
All was very nice...it is an old hotel but we enjoyed all!
The pictures of the bathroom were fake. The bathroom smelt of drains and was pretty disgusting. It costs 100 baht less if you do not book it with booking.com
The room was large and looked out over an aspestos roof. We got CSI on TV channel. Good proximity to Warorot market.
The moment we arrived the manager tried to get us to pay for our 6 nights in advance. At 8 am in the morning the jack hammers started on hotel renovations. No currency exchange. Cigarette smells lingering. Lift really telly slow.
The reception area was nice and big and a bit crazy looking!
Ewwwww: the room was so unclean. It had thick layers of dust everywhere, everything looked so old. The bed was hard as a lumpy wooden board. Felt really unclean being there. The staff had very limited English. The hotel is too far from most of the sights to walk to.
Spacious room, very hot water (adjustable), friendly staff (most speak enough English), happily gave us extra blankets and towels when requested, pool looked nice (too cold for us to use), quiet location for within walking distance to everything, gas station a block away and closer small shops for snacks/drinks, few cafes on the street for breakfast. Overall a good deal. Happy with our stay here and would do it again.
Nothing unexpected based on the price, and we were actually pleasantly surprised here by most things. Bed is very firm, bathroom faucet leaked (we requested an extra towel and used it as a rug), "Jacuzzi" they advertise is really just a small pool (in addition to the larger one they have).
Great style to the place. Four poster bed is cool. Location was good, near night bizaar and we walked to the old city every day as well. We would stay here again for the madmen charm.
Has seen better days, if you want shiny and new don't stay here. WiFi is non existent in rooms.
Pince is very good value for money. A 10 min walk will get you to down town centered around Le Merdiene hotel. Good climate cooler than Bangkok does not have much for young single men looking for a good lay, otherwise ok for the north of Thailand.
Very seedy night life around Lo Kroh Rd. Bad stinking gogo bars.
Nice lobby, clean room, good location.
Everything is old (very dated).
Staffs are nice. Looks clean. Good location.
Too old. Even the deluxe rooms are shabby. Staffs are very friendly but not professional. How come other people say that the swimming pool is good?? Some of rooms are noisy. Could find a better guest house at this price.
