Stylish colonial design is the trademark of De Chai Hotel, with its indoor pool and free Wi-Fi. Located along Thapae Road, it is a 5-minute walk from the Sunday Walking Street.

Blending European design with Lanna Thai charm, the luxurious Le Meridien is in downtown Chiang Mai on Changklan Road, only a short walk from Tha Pae Gate and Warorot Market.

Score from 59 reviews Wonderful
Too small and lack of facility. Checked out took too long. Nice hotel but over priced.
The service is friendly.
The room is really small, and I don't think this hotel merit of having 5 stars. We are closer to a 4 stars. Breakfast without much interest ...
Price Staff friendness
Location A little run out facilities
The staff were so friendly and always willing to help us with any questions or requests we had. Everything was so easy. The hotel is beautiful and we had everything we needed at our fingertips, to make our stay extremely enjoyable. The in-house Sala spa was also a highlight. Easy to book in and the best massage I've ever had.
Extremely friendly staff. Close and free ride to night market. Super clean through out the whole place. Cannot praise more for their service.
I loved this hotel, it lives up to all it's great reviews. Rooms were lovely with a delightful balcony with sofa and chair. I cannot fault this place, service was really 5*, and the breakfast great. It's tucked right out of the way but not to far from town, we had scooters, but a short tuk tuk ride and you are in the centre. In fact it's position is a blessing as it's really quiet.
NOTHING--Although If I was picky a new TV to replace the old CRT would be nice and make the room a lot bigger
Boutique character Friendly staff willing to assist in anything
Located on a side soi and not able to easily walk to major attractions Small/cramped bathrooms
Transport to town
Views were poor Small room
I stayed at the Puripunn for one night in October on my second visit to Chiang Mai, before a 3 day trip up to the Golden Triangle - this hotel was everything I had hoped for in a boutique hotel. The room and surroundings were stunning. I was well looked after by the hotel staff, who were attentive and friendly. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast set up in the gardens.
The bathroom whilst attractive and in keeping with the style of the hotel was a little impractical - huge lip around bath meant that taking a shower created a moat of water between wall and bath with no way of clearing away. Was worried I might flood out room!
Staff made every effort to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Th location was very quiet and within walking distance of the old city.
