We loved everything about this hotel We were made very welcome and facilities were wonderful we will recommend to All our friends
The location is inside the old city walls, so most attractions are reachable on foot. Inside the hotel you will find serene tranquillity. There is a nice pool and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is very good as well
Don't go for European food in the restaurant. The dishes all look the same and one dish arrived without the sauce mentioned. Service at the pool is not easy to get, you have to call. The shower looks like in a old gym. That could be fixed with new tiles and a rain shower + a separate shower head. There are no free plugs in the room.
it is not easy to amend the booking even I did amend the booking well in advance two weeks ago, and I did call personnally to the hotel reservation and they agree to amend the booking date but still ask me to amend online at booking.com but it is not possible.
Good location Library is nice
Theme of property
Incredible sense of serenity. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.
Liked the style & comfort of the hotel
Didn't like having to keep logging into the wifi
It took us a while to find this hotel in the narrow streets, but it was so much worth it. Perfect breakfast and excellent service. On request you can get a massage in their spa. Loved it
Wifi disconnects every day so you have to keep the codes
We liked the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel certainly helped ease us into chiang mai after the 14hr night train journey :) food was amazing and breakfast is not to be missed...
Just about everthing could not fault it.great location.would highly recommend it to any traveller.5*plus.
Having to leave.
Rachamanka was a wonderful retreat and we were treated royally. Loved the ability to sit quietly in the library and have brandy. Swimming pool was delightful. Food excellent.
we stayed there for 3 nights. hotel interior was great. nice resort thai style. room is a bit simple designed. bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good quality.
wifi was extremely bad. If you want to use wifi, try not to stay in Room 5. Service was just ok. not smile/reluctant smile on staffs' faces which is quite unusal considering this is Thailand. during our stay, shower was broken and no hot water. I had to use other room's shower. although hotel fixed it next day, but it broken again and we didn't bother to tell hotel again.
Lovely design and decorations
Location, service, atmosphere, food and restaurant.
Dogs barking in the night and cockerels crowing in the morning
The location was far away from the hustle and bustle of night markets, etc. the decor and all public spaces were well appointed. Pool very nice.
There was no fitness center. Did not have any Chinese speaking staff. Boutique hotel, but not really full service.
Environment is nice! They have a beautiful dinning room. And a library, guests could borrow books to the room and also read in the library. Location is convenient.
Receptionists are arrogant... Call the house keeping 2 times right after my check-in but nobody picked up the phone. The receptionist told me i could have the welcome drink. I thought they will send to my room. But they didnt so i called again and they then send to me. And the worst one is when I talked to a receptionist, he even didnt move his eye from the computer and keep typing. I waited until he looked at me!!!! Unbelievable....
Very quiet, beautiful architecture, good location, welcome drink
We couldn't enjoy breakfast that much because we sat inside the restaurant at 10am and they didn't turn on aircon. So, I would recommend sitting outside, otherwise they should turn on aircon for breakfast after 8am. ^^
architectually inspired, incredibly beautiful gardens, gloriously stylish decor, the guest "lounge" is just stunning.the pool is heavenly, the library very smart, breakfast elegant, surrounded by cabinets of beautiful antique blue & white china,it is BEAUTIFUL
Room Breakfast courtyard Staff kindness Architecture Comfort Spendid Decoration Pool
Delightful and tranquil location with easy access to the centre of Chiang Mai. Rooms tastefully and interestingly appointed, very comfortable. Impeccable, unobtrusive, service. A la carte breakfast a pleasant change from the usual buffet. Interesting and reasonably priced pool beverage and food service. Good range of DVDs. Library a great touch!
Unenticing menu for dinner
Probably one of the most beautiful places inside Chiang Mai. Excellent restaurant and overall service. We loved our stay in Rachamankha.
Bath will need to be renovated in a couple of years. Location is not the most central but still quite convenient to go everywhere on foot.
Staff. Tranquil architectural resort. Peaceful. Great food. The staff maintained a peaceful respectful ambience that created a wonderful surprise for us. Great pool.
Peaceful hotel with asian style decorations. The mattress is just great! Welcome drink and nice breakfast. Pool is clean and towels are always provided. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
The fridge is very noisy at night.
Really nice and helpful staff, they gave us sweet supervise in my wife's birthday. This hotel locates in old town with fabulous decoration and comfortable household items including a small gallery and an incredible mini library
Lovely quiet hotel very helpful staff
