Beautiful place, beutiful bamboo cabin (the nicest hotel we have been in Thailand) and very nice people. Closed to a lot of restaurants and bars and closed to the west side Beach. Is not in front of the beach but quite ok walk. Amaizing view from the breakfast terrase.
The only thing i did not like was the noise from the boats. We had the cabin with sea view and it was impossible to sleep without earplugs.
Yes, there are some stairs, but if you don't have mobility issues it's totally worth it! I had an ocean view room. The cabin was perfect, exactly what I wanted... Comfortable and cute. The staff was super friendly. I can't wait to book another stay here.
The eastern side of Railay is the place to stay! So much better vibes on this side. The view from resort was leaving me speechless every morning.Chill out atmosphere, simple but nice breakfast, close to all the nice bars(recommend Mama's Kitchen).Wouldn't choose a different place to stay:-)
Stairs..lots of them..but i guess that's the price for the amazing views!!!
New mosquito nets please!
very beautiful hotel, , no hot shower, the bed is small, and the trees are too big to see the sea, but the surroundings is very beautiful
Ideally place for Backpacker with a nice view for a small budget.
No hot water. Decoration pillows were quite smelly from the moist weather.
No airco in the room and fan made noice, no clean sheets the bed, no hot water in shower, very poor breakfast
Cute bungalows, free water, toiletries, tea and coffee and I think breakfast although we never went. Location is ok although it's hard to get a bad location in such a tiny area, friendly staff and nice views garden views are the same as sea views but with more trees so I wouldn't bother paying extra
Bathroom smelt a bit, and the stairs were abit challenging esspecially in the dark, someone with what sounded like a chain saw right outside at 8am also wasn't fun
Receptionist - Cleanliness- Sea View
Lazy to climb up
The view at breakfast! The private balcony. Wonderful staff. This place has charm and character in abundance. Basic but clean and tidy. Very nice room with fan and mozzy net.
At a push, the stairs! Suppose they keep you fit but not for the elderly or infirm.
Comfortable and clean. Nice breakfast deck to enjoy your included toast and tea. Nice people.
Bathroom needs a step as it's a long way down. East Railway is a bit noisy with the longtails running all hours (though not a major annoyance).
very clean, beautiful view, free water, mosquitonet, rooms look exactly like on the pictures on booking.com
absolutely nothing :)
our bungalow had a stunning view. it was quiet and cosy.
no air condition and no hot water
It's apart from the main beach area. Clean, beautiful views, lovely staff.
This is a beautiful hotel at a beautiful spot, overlooking Ao Railay East. We had a sea-view bungalow and we enjoyed sitting at the balcony, watching this gorgeous bay. It's a little far from the centre (5-7 minute-walk) and there are too many stairs to climb, but the view is definitely worth it.
There was no a/c, just a fan and no hot water. We stayed for two nights, so it was a big deal, but if I were to stay longer, I'd prefer to have an a/c in the room.

Friendly wildlife including monkeys and monitor lizards. Beautiful views!!! The other side of Railay had a spectacular landscape and much cleaner water.
This side of Railay is on the mangroves (beautiful at high tide), but stinky and dirty at low. The ocean was smelly and unhealthy looking on our visit. I hope something more can be done to preserve this special place.
Good view, although our hut view was just trees..
Nothing I didn't like but the beach isn't close.. You have to walk to the other side of the island to sunbathe.. 15 mins wandering but wouldn't put me off staying again!
Great value for money, nice clean rooms with a great view. Free toasts in the morning (only 1 toaster though, so prepare to wait.) Highly recommended.
Staff wasnt particularly friendly.
Really nice spot overlooking East Railay. my bungalow was classified as "with a garden view" and was therefore cheaper, but I could see the sea pretty nicely!! Nice and quiet place to stay. Free tea/coffee all day and toast for breakfast was a nice addition as well as free water. Place very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Very steep steps.
Location and view!
Monkey in the ceiling!
Loved the location. So beautiful!
The bed was absolutely terrible. Overall, it was a lot more rustic than we were expecting (geckos on the walls inside), but still was fine.
The staffs are helpful and nice.
Noise longtailboats, but that's everywhere at Railay East.
The man at the check in was amazingly helpful and friendly. Best service of our entire trip.
Smelly bathroom,almost unbearable.
