The rooms were spacious and well decorated. It was a nice breakfast Buffett. The staff was very helpful. It was an elegant hotel for the value.
The pool was very cold. It was a little out of the way but there was always a taxi available out front for your convenience.
The staff was really helpful. Place was clean.
Breakfast hot dishes are cold. Things like porridge and curry are runny and cold.
Good location and nice staff
Hard to control bath / shower temperature. Bed cover with human fluid stains.
Bed ,hot shower (That ´s hot in winter and this is my Heaven )nice , beautiful room and my husband love it and we will come back to this hotel again
Car park and the road
Easy to reach by car, close to the high way, free parking area. Very friendly and helpfull staff.
It was pretty cold during the night. The fitness isn't worth mentioning.
Both pools were lovely, buffet breakfast awesome, staff were very friendly and helpful, family room a nice size, location is a bit out but wasn't a problem to get into town, highly recommend this place esp if travelling with kids
The toilet in the family room was backed up and kept smelling bad, we got air freshened sand staff checking in a lot to see how we were doing, but no-one came to actually fix it. I think the plumbing in the older wing needs an overhaul.
All round excellent
Lovely setting, good breaky and lovely staff. Loved the free shuttle to the night bazzar
Bed a bit hard and quite a way out of town, would have been nice to have a shuttle running into the city centre in the morning as well
Location & services were excellent. Chiang Mai center was 5 min drive. Markets very near. Two Advices: Get a Nancy Chandler Map . Hire a scooter & drive around. NC maps are the best for tourists.
Unfortunately it was a short stay at this hotel.
The room is too old, bathroom is dirty and smelly, so noisy from the rooftop at night which is no guess room, there's a mess everywhere even the fire escape stairs.
pool area very relaxing, food dining very nice
Location and breakfast
The room is quite dirty. Bed is uncomfortable.
Lovely family room for three people. Two swimming pools with nice waterfalls and stone background. Nice restaurant with good food and open all day. Free taxi to bazaar night market and central chiang mai town every night. Lovely staff who organised all our day tours and taxis to airport. Would definitely recommend Rainforest boutique hotel for people visiting Chiang Mai!
When we first arrived from chiang mai airport, our taxi dropped us off just before the main entrance to the hotel which is basically a dirty car park. We were a little worried that this is what we were staying in but the Carpark leads to a side entrance to reception and once in the hotel we were relieved to see the true surroundings and the beautiful hotel.
The staff is so welcoming and helpful. The luxury room in the new wing is large with a big bathroom . Bed is very comfy. Great to have a tea cooker in the room. 2 smaller swimming pools.
Certain rooms do not have a window ! (Just the older building has rooms with windows) as I am a bit claustrofobic , this is a problem. However , the staff showed me 4 rooms so I could choose where I would be most comfortable
Complementary breakfast a huge bonus and delicious! Quiet and staff was very friendly.
The shower drained very slow but really not a huge deal and the bed was pretty firm for my liking.
Quiet and convenience location. Excellent food
Bed is too hard. Bathroom need updated
the two outdoor pools were very nice, and it was nice to be out of the busy heart of town
the bathroom fittings were very old and poorly finished. the staff were in collusion with cab drivers, charging easily double what real fares were.
Breakfast was pretty good and the meals at the restaurant were reasonably priced. The 2 swimming pools were very clean.
It is a bit out of the way and costs 100-150 THB each way to get into town by taxi, or walk up to the main street for a songtaew @ 30 baht per person. There isn't a 7-11 anywhere near the hotel which makes buying the odd drink or snack very hard. They charged 450 THB for an airport pickup but a return trip in a taxi was 200 THB
Massages in site good, breakfast excellent, staff helpful. Mr Lucky to handle all of our transportation needs at a fair price
We like softer beds.
2 pools that weren't overcrowded Nice restaurant with good breaky
Hard beds Shower heads had no pressure
The pool, food is okay, great value for money
Breakfast here was nice and they provide many kind of local food,so you won't miss it!
Old hotel and facilities are not good enough.
We liked the setup of the superior double room. The bathtub is amazing. The hotel has a restaurant with really helpful staff. Outside of the hotel is a taxi to take the guests to the center or airport. We initially wanted to stay one night but decided to stay three more nights, we had a great time at the Rainforest Boutique!
The water was sometimes a bit cold, but that is no problem when the outside temperature is this hot.
Friendly staff and lovely swimming pools. Also free shuttle service to nearby train station
We had a superior room which felt very standard and had no character being stuck at the back of the hotel with no real view. Also wifi was very slow and unpredictable and by the far the worst we have experienced in the 2 months we have been in SE Asia
Location, quiet, close to town, nice pool, lovely cosy rooms. very cheap for what you get. Very romantic place...
