Atmosphere was amazing, created that exotic vacation feeling. Breakfast buffet was great and the employees were always cheerful and helpful. Hotel staff assisted in booking tour packages and made everything amazingly easy.

Although the hotel is well constructed and in excellent shape, the rooms themselves are in need of updating. More than Adequate for their purpose but not exactly inviting -

    - the bed was nice - the second room that we took in the new wing was okay

    - breakfast quality was bad - the first room that they gave us was very old, small and not very clean - distance to the town is quiet a bit and will cost you around 100 THB per way - warm water was not working in the room - internet was not really working in the room, always kicked us out - Staff was not friendly and helpful and had kind of a I do not care attitude - a couple of years ago this Hotel was much better - but it seems that they stopped investing a long time ago....

Buffet was convenient. Price. Nice staff

A bit far from Town. Need English speaking staff. Guests that decide to eat dinner should be given a discount on food. No free taxi to town like other hotels Coffee pot caught fire, two days to replace it. Drinks were expensive

The family room was fairly cramped. The breakfast was not great.

Only a 10 to 15 minute walk from the train station, turn right at Charoen Muang road. Wonderful restaurant and rooms are ok.

    Internet is a bit slow.

What a great place and marvelous people. The decor isn't perfect, but this is a bloody great value, medium sized hotel. Perfect for families and anyone who wants a comfortable, safe place to stay in Chiang Mai. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Great location not far from the city center, but far enough to be secluded and quiet. They now have two lovely salt water pools. Great to cool off in, or just spread yourself on the loungers and soak up the sun and atmosphere.

The staff were helpful with everything we asked for. Wonderful! We were very pleased with the complementary morning breakfast. Everything was presented well and kept cool and lids for flies. Well done.

The tub/shower and curtain was a bit old and stained.

Staff were VERY sweet, helpful and accommodating. We had some room-confusion upon checking in and we changed rooms without any problems. Breakfast was really good! Pools were nice size. The free shuttle to night-market every night 8pm. Mr. Lucky taxi service outside hotel was very fair priced and friendly. Despite the sour points, we would come again, but stay in the "COCO wing", we would only stay in the boutique wing again if it had a makeover and the sour points were taken seriously. Again, staff were wonderful and the owner should be very happy to have them!

Our room (Boutique Wing) got so much water when it rained. It did not feel safe going to bathroom during heavy thunder, the breaker also cut because water got into a switch. So many leaking points on the covered outside area. There were planks at the pool that were loose and nails sticking out. Hurt my big toe on one of them. Mentioned it, but it did not get tended to. Also, the cleaning around the pool was not good. The massage room was fine, but after a few days of rain, everything felt wet and moist. They should buy a dehumidifier, also for the room (at least the one we stayed in) Our room had an electric socket connecting the fridge and tv that came out of the wall. Not safe with a 10month old with us.

Small boutique hotel with salt water swimming pool. Clean food

Room arranged wasn't as what I booked. Booking was made more than a month ago but they said no Superior Double room upon arrival, instead asked us to accept Twin bed room with same charges. They don't respect booking via Booking. Com, it makes me think twice in the future to book hotel via booking.com

The rooms were clean and comfortable with en suite bathrooms. Two outdoor pools were very good and important after hot days exploring Chiang Mai. We had interconnecting rooms important for maintaining contact while children had own room. Included breakfast with both Thai and Western was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful All the taxi and tuck tuck drivers appeared to know where Rainforest Boutique was, very important !

Shower in one bathroom difficult too operate appeared all hot water.

The hotel should provide Gym for the Tourist.

Not much food that can find outside of the hotel, which mean within walking distance and should have some shop for us to shop n buy things.
