Score from 420 reviews Good
Location is everything. The spacious rooms are a bonus.
Lack of pool towels
Breakfast, clean room, convenience to 7-11, pub, restaurant, Wifi was good.
Location,comfortable toom and bed
Same breakfast everyday. Mosquitoes in dinning.
The Location only.
All except the location
The ambience of a smaller hotel led to interface with international travelers. Excellent breakfast, eggs cooked to order, bacon delicious. Raming Lodge is close to everything. Fully, highly recommended.
The room was quiet and large. The buffet breakast was good and had variety.
Some of the staff didn't speak english very well and made it hard to agree on pick up services.
room excellent bed cleanliness
breakfast could be improved although still good swimming pool far from the room and quite small
Everything. Staff food room location not a complaint
Upon my return i checked into a different room and the shower area was smaller then my first room. Water spilled out on to the floor
Location is good, staff are very nice
Little noise if the room is near the street
Location was perfect, couple minutes walk from both night market & old town in either direction. Breakfast had plenty of selection. Room was also very spacious.
decent breakfast, GREAT location good burgers right next door comfy bed good value for the low price! :)
NOISY!!!! Unfortunately the 4 days we were there, they were installing new internet and security cameras. There was constant noise/banging. and then of course there were the jack hammers outside the hotel. I'm an afternoon napper, so that wasn't fun. Other than that, everything was great.
Location was excellent. The staff were very helpful. I hired a motorcycle through the hotel and had a very easy experience. They helped me a few times as I kept the bike for longer than initially expected and they took care of everything.
Location is perfect -- even though that hotel is situated outside of old city, it is only 5 minutes walk from it, and 20 minutes walk to Wat Chedi Luang, the famous temple. Hotel is surrounded by huge variety of cafes, restaurants, bars (some of them with pool tables), shops, massage salons and etc. SevenEleven 3 minutes from it. Rooms are big and clean, decorated in Thai style, with huge beds and all necessary amenities. Guest relations are the best -- when they offered standard trip to ChanGrai for WhiteTemple and etc, I found that I didn't like that fixed venue. So without insisting the lady helped me in organizing my own trip, precisely describing where and how to buy bus tickets, what would be the price for whole day tuktuk, what to see in CR and what is not that necessary. Very customer oriented. Also try MaiTai cocktail from the hotel's bar.
Cleanliness -- room was very clean, but space around swimming pool was a nightmare. Staff seemed to be tooooo serious all the time, more smiles will do the thing! :)
large room and bed, buffet breakfast, shower pressure and temperature good , quiet rooms, good layout, staff friendly
wi fi not real good, restaurant meal selection no good when you got a menu it was all about hamburgers
Dan who works the restront and bar with his staff would have to be the most friendly person I have meet in my travels, not forgetting ms bee who was just so much fun.rateing them 10 out of 10.also the office staff were fantastic .louis.
Spar jets need attention, the orange juice not so nice, power formilar.not like fresh juice.
If I was ever to return to Chiang Mai, this is where I would stay. Clean, comfy and spacious rooms and breakfast in the morning. Perfect.
Staff, Breakfast, Bar, were all great. Location was good as well. I did not visit the pool, but it is across the ally, no big deal. The mist machine at the bar was a very nice touch. Plus, one can walk across the street and get a foot massage, the hotel staff will bring you beer and food over during the massage ;) Bottom line, I would stay here again.
The hotel is well kept and clean. The location is excellent. Just a short walk to the Chiang Mai night market and Walking Street Market. There is an amazing restaurant next door, the Welcome Inn. Also, a short walk down the street is another fantastic restaurant, The Teak. Both are a must while you are in the city!
The restaurant staff was rude and unfriendly. It was difficult to communicate with the server because there was a live band and the music was too loud.
The location of this place is amazing. You walk straight out onto a vibrant street of shops, bars and of course Thai massages. The night market is less than half a mile up the road. The staff were welcoming, polite and helpful. Breakfast was vast and very tasty.
The only real negative was that we couldn't check it until 14.00, despite adding as a special request prior to arriving that we wanted to check in between 12.00 and 13.00 because our flight would get us in quite early.
Ten min walk to the night market. Bed was lovely and breakfast buffet was nice.
Pool was on the otherside of the car park and could use a clean. 6.1 earth quake which freaked me out
I really like the location. The breakfast is nice. Staff is very welcoming.
The smell in the room of sandalwood. The bed was ok. The value for the money is not so great because the price I paid is a bit more than I paid at other hotels in different location.
Tranquility at the back entrance and excitement at the front entrance
The change in your massage offers
Great Location for going everywhere in the old city and night markets. Always able to get a tuk-tuk outside.
The room needed a spring clean
Hotel was nice and clean, staff were helpful and friendly. Good location to markets, bars and restaurants. Walk to most places we wanted to go.
Great location and in the centre of everything.
