The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you, the pool was a nice little get away and very quiet. Breakfast was more than enough. Rooms of a very good size and location was just right.
The pillows were so hard I had a job to sleep. This was my fault as I knew at time of booking, but the lack of a real size window made the room very dark and quite depressing.
I stayed 4 nights in this hotel with my mother and sister. We booked royal suite and it was comfortable. 2 bedrooms and one living room. Great location with 5 min walk to the night bazaar. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room service was superb.
I would have loved to have clothes iron inside the room.
bed is two singles with a piece in the middle , so not that great. Bathroom is a little tired.
Pool outside the hotel, weak wifi in the room, dingy hotel, breakfast paying extra for 4 year-old child, never coming back to this hotel
Great Staff nothing too much trouble. Fabulous food, walking distance to night market.
I thank myself I booked this hotel for only one night as there are so many better options in Chiang Mai. 4 star hotel charging 55-60 euros and you get a hotel that s not worth more than 25 a night. Here s what you get in this "4" star hotel: - used slippers!!! - once a year washed chair pillows - beds that look like coffins and extremely ugly furniture - cheap looking everything: bedlamps, shower, shower curtains. - cheap sandstone room floor. - cheap bazzar blankets for you to enjoy a good night sleep. They go along well with the noise from the low profile bars on the street. If your name is Gigi and you are a 50 yo fat hairy turkish pimp making a living in Bulgary and think you re living large in Thailand in your 8 days stay, then go there. I ve seen hostels more elegant than this cheap dump.
Location, free water, friendly staff.
Terrible spa attached. Hot water took at least 5 minutes to appear.
Location, staff, courtesy car pick up from airport, breakfast, and yes, bed comfort. My last stay saw me happy with everything except the bed ( too hard). This time the bed in the room was much more comfortable. A great hotel.
Great location to the night bazaar and walking distance to a lot of amazing bars!
Superior room without window!!
Very nice location. Large room. Comfortable bed. Hudge bathroom very friendly staff
The noise. All rooms are on some kind of open patio and the noise is getting to the room. Extremely noisy, even during night time when people are getting (late) back to their rooms. too expensive for what you get.
burger bar cocktails rooms location free snacks
Very good location. Very good wifi. Clean hotel.
Double bed are 2 single beds put together but as they put a piece of matras in between it was still ok.
The biggest improvement at the Raming Lodge is the restaurant is much better. The breakfast is good, and house keeping is good.
No major problems.
Location was great. Clean. Great little court yard for breakfast. Breakfast was nice. Room was only a superior but big and comfortable. This place is not new. It is a well used hotel that is worth staying there. I am very fussy though I like it. I would stay here again.
The walls in the rooms are to thin and you can hear the people next door. The rooms must be mirror imaged and the light switch in the middle of the bed must go directly through a hole in the wall and when the people turn their light on and off it sounds like it is your switch. lol A bit old but is has that nice old feeling that is nice.
Location within walking distance of night bazaar, night market, old town, restaurants/bars. Shower pressure and temperature were good. Complimentary breakfast and round trip airport transportation.
Room was old, bed creaked loudly with even the slightest movement, air conditioning unit blocked any view out the window, ashtrays for cigarettes right outside our door, smoking allowed in the breakfast area. Wifi unreliable, constantly had to try connecting to a different router.
Some staffs not so friendly, the property need a lot of improvement
Located conveniently close to the night markets. Easy accessibility to public transport. Very friendly and helpful staff especially Mr Dan from the Coffee House; and Ms Bell Hotel Manager.
Bathroom sliding door faulty, cabinet door won't close properly, No 3-pin square plug points...
Location was very good for accessing old town and night bazaars. helpful and polite staff. very good breakfasts
lower floor rooms could be noisy in mornings due to proximity to breakfast eating area
Need to show ID card for everyone in the group. Bad policy.
Room size. Fridge and safe in the room. Good Wi-Fi signal which is free. Helpful travel desk in lobby. Gave us money saving advice.
Breakfast we thought was poor and only had it once during a four night stay. Our room was dark. Only a small window to the outside and this was in a recess which also housed the AC unit. Took ages for the shower to get hot.
Location is close to night bazzar, 7-11 and money exchange store is just downstairs. Reception staff are very polite and helpful.
Cleanliness could be much improved. Facility are dated and the room looks older than expected.
Everything, we were treated like royalty, all staff always helpful with a friendly smile, comfortable and clean room, close to all important venues. We felt like we were arriving home after a days expedition and sent off with everything organised for our adventure. Food great.
Staff were professional. Helped with taxi and early check in. Size of room was more than standard. Bathroom was spacious. Restaurant was good quality. Staff of restaurant very friendly and spoke good English.
No balcony. Swimmingpool was not in the hotel and (although water was very clean) it smelled guttery in the surrounding area.
Short walk to night bazaar, clean comfortable room. Great breakfast. Have stayed here a number of times and will again
Swimming pool needs work
