Located outside the city of Chiang Mai, the tranquil resort offers guests two different worlds created by northern Thai culture and contemporary style, with views of the natural landscape.

Blending European design with Lanna Thai charm, the luxurious Le Meridien is in downtown Chiang Mai on Changklan Road, only a short walk from Tha Pae Gate and Warorot Market.
Score from 398 reviews Very good
Can't find anything to fault about Ratilanna. Great room, excellent staff: beautiful pool and good fitness centre. The only drawback is the location which requires a songdaew or Tuk Tuk ride to the old city and restaurants, cafes, bars etc. But it's only a short inexpensive ride and being away a little from the action has its advantages including the peaceful riverside location. Highly recommended
Amazing hotel, beautifull and pampering, a little bit far from the old city but has great facillities and very good cervise
The hotel is a bit remote, but the rooms and the surrounding is very spacious and comfortable. We could virtually sit around anywhere and feel very private.
The drainage in the bathroom was not so good with a bad smell. Breakfast is very disappointing. The selection is small and quality not the best.
Great natural salt swimming pool
Nice big room with big bath room separate bath and walk-in shower. Balcony overlooking the pool and river. We were on the top floor (4) if you had a ground floor room you would not get these views and other guests would be able to look into your room from the common areas.
A little bit too far to walk to the market areas but that meant that it was also quieter.
Ambience, style of hotel and very nice bedrooms. All areas were inexcelent condition and kept very clean.Good facilities which are maintained very well. The staff were excelent in every way
It is hard to find fault with this hotel
Location . Staff . Foods .
Aircon not operating properly Hot and Cold Water could not Be mixed as requested Lights too Weaks in bathroom.
the staff, the interior design, the facilities
hard to get to other places the room amenities are just simple standards
Great location, friendly staff, great spa & pool. Definitely recommended.
Wonderful outdoor eating location, overlooking Ping River. Idyllic. Good buffet breakfast with intriguing mix of Western and Thai food.
Wi-fi connection was exceptionally poor - slow and repeatedly cutting out. A friend staying in a small place on the opposite side of the road enjoyed far better!
Beautiful view and rooms, great spa service.
There wasn't anything we didn't like! The suite was fabulous and had everything we needed and more.I loved the waterfall features in the room and also throughout the hotel. This was the most relaxing hotel we've ever stayed in and the most luxurious and anyone who doesn't give this a 4.9/5 star rating is being just too picky! The staff throughout the hotel were fabulous and I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.
The only downside I have is that it does need a coat of paint in some areas, but it's understandably difficult to do this when there is full occupancy. I would not, however, complain unduly about this. I'd be hard pushed to find anything else.
Comfort, room, staff, spa, pool
Very high value for money: great architecture, polite staff, good food, nice large rooms.
The room itself very nice, ours on 4th floor, with view to river and poolarea. The staff was very friendly, and we appreciated the free shuttle to the night market. We did not use the restaurant facilities (except breakfast). Room cleaning was always finished before noon, very nice. Free transport to airport.
Bathroom installations needed upgrading. Rainshower needed cleaning (was improved upon request), but not perfect. Breakfast was ok, but not more, being very Asian. Nice big pool, but too few deckchairs.
Great ambience, friendly staff and food.
About 45minute walk to shops and night market.
The room is specious ,well equipped facilities and well maintenance. The bed and pillows is very comfy with the large bathroom with TV inside. The staff is friendly. Overall is value for your money.
Selection of buffet breakfast is quite limited.
Bath tub with water feature. free wifi.
Hotel balcony facing not much privacy. No view even we book the deluxe room. The toilet bowl area so cramp. No lotion provided. Some fitting like shower head should be replaced. The mouldy wall at shower area shall repaint. More like a 4 star hotel. Only 2 route shuttle service provided. Which is 6pm and 8pm
Very courteous staff and most obliging on any request. The large spacious rooms made you feel at home Leon Melbourne
My room was quiet and spacious.
After I stayed at less expensive hotel and it was better. The staff was way more helpful and kind. They went out of way to help me and anticipate my needs.
Great location Very comfortable and good sized rooms Great decor
Staffs are helpful and supportive.
1) Excellent infinity pool - salt water pool, segregated area for Small kids though small. Jacuzzi area with a bar 2) beautiful & luxurious rooms with king beds, comfy pillows 3) bathroom was very grand & luxurious. Bathtub was the best we had ever used! Big, oval shaped & roomy. Plus a waterfall feature located within the bathroom to create a surreal effect. A LCD screen strategically positioned for movie watching. Superb! 4) birthday surprise with cake, candles & matches 5) breakfast with great variety. Coffee machine with various coffee for selection. Good mix of international & local delights 6) beautiful Thai decor throughout the entire hotel
1) hotel is next to an abandoned industrial area that looks creepy at night 2) no nearby shops. Need to get a Tuk Tuk out
The northern Thai style of the hotel is impressive. The view from the Resturant to the river with the pool is so relaxing.
As the name of the hotel is riverside and spa you would expect a real Thai spa with good treatments and professional therapists, unfortunately, for the price you pay, it wasn't, just go anywhere else except there. The lundry, they sent me the lundry without pressing most of the items. The last thing thy did which annoyed me a lot was, when we ask for chick out, they send someone to see the mini bar, that was fine as some hotel do that while the guests are still in the room, but the shock was when we were leaving our deluxe suite heading to reception to pay the rest of the rate, we found another employee who was waiting for us in the caridor to go double chick our room for a second time before we leave the hotel. It was a big shame for a five star hotel to do so, they give you that impression that we want to control you before you run away with our stuff.. For this reason I wouldn't go back to this hotel, as the staff and the manager of this hotel don't trust their guests.
