Relax Bay Resort  

It was really great staying, I lived in a simple bungalow very clean and comfortable. Various breakfast, wonderful beach, helpful staff, bref everything was great!!! Also if you're interested in yoga practice, you can attend Monas' classes taking place in the hotel almost everyday. Surely it's a place to recommend!

Feel like in Paradiese ,Magic Spot

Beautifully landscaped and on a lovely little bay, good sized rooms extremely tastefully furnished.

There wasn't a very friendly atmosphere, and due to the relative isolation of the resort they take advantage of you by charging over the odds on food and water. I think staying as a couple it would be fine but if you want to socialise and have a bit of variety (ie not eat in the one place the whole time) this isn't the place for you.

We loved the Relax Bay. The beach bar is fab and the private beach was lovely, although we also felt that it was a bit isolated, which we appreciate that some peple really want, but we didn't, so it was partly a downside for us as well as being a plus for others. Our room was lovely, the gardens beautiful.Met some great people here too, and they have a book library and it just looks so beautiful all lit up at night.

Climbing up and down the stairs leading down to the resort with a heavy bag!! But it's worth it when you get there... and lots of young kids and families (we were there in March) not a problem as such, just an observation as some people might prefer a resort more for only adults.

Perefct place, private beach, outstanding service, one of THE best places to stay on Ko Lanta. Have no doubt! 5 stars

The location is brilliant. The resort is situated on the beach with a nice pool. The bungalows are surrounded by a jungle-like garden. Considering that you spend 80% of your time outdoors, it is a nice place to stay.

The bungalows inside are of low quality, the bathroom could do with some tiling. you can't feel clean. Food is terrible for the money it costs, however there are excellent restaurants nearby. Go there instead. Most of the staff seem ignorant except for the cleaners who are lovely.

From the moment we got picked up at the ferry we were greeted with friendly smiles. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a lovely bungalow with terrace and hammock and a 2 minute walk from pool and beach. Also had opportunity to book some trips through the resort. This was a super relaxing place to stay and I wish we had booked in for longer rather than head off to Rai Lay Bay.

Restaurant food not spicy enough for Thai food.

Good location, on the beach. Bar and restraunt areas lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Food and Drinks were very expensive compared to usual Thailand prices. Also resort is quite secluded so it's a bit of an effort to get to other places where it's cheaper. Rooms very very basic.

Quite simply, nothing and checked out as quickly as possible.

Ambiance and culture of the resort, appalling quality of food, extremely high prices (50% higher than any surrounding location), attitude of management which was disgraceful. The hotel, European owned, is more akin to a benidorm or Ibiza cheap beach hotel than a relaxing Thai hotel. They forgot to be Thai, and wore upside-down smiles. Management were almost laughing at travellers stupid enough to pay excessive charges for no service or quality. An experience sterile of any Thai culture and celebrating the worst of Euro party hotel culture.

What a place. We loved our stay here. The bungalow was very nice -we had our own verranda with hammock, good size bed plus mosquito net and a decent bathroom. The beach location of this resort gives it a really chilled out feel, and the staff/management go out of their way to give everybody maximum comfort and relaxation.

The food was a bit hit and miss but the main road is only 10 minutes walk away so it's very easy to eat at other places.

Charming decor with a good position, friendly front desk staff who did change the room for us.

The original rooms we were given were dirty, damp and well below standard for the price. Cleaning staff were unfriendly and no attention to overall look as bins and building materials were left lying around reception area and beach.

Excellent pool, restaurant, and facilities. Quiet and tranquil - to relax...

Sometimes parts of the beach can be rocky, but there are always good sections.

Die liebe zum detail. Lage und essen sehr gut, zuvorkommendes personal. Sensationelle lage. Guter service/transfer mix. Sehr gute musikauswahl an der strandbar ( keine ballermann musik)

Wc bei der reception war nicht immer sauber.

Wij vonden dit een perfect resort! Heerlijk tot rust gekomen, puur genieten. De bungalows zijn goed ingericht, heerlijke hangmat op de veranda.Het strand is super. Wat het al zegt, relax bay. Massage ook geweldig. Apart op het strand, zodat je niet voor jan en allemaal ligt als je gemasseerd wordt. Gezellige strandbar en schitterende zonsondergang. Personeel super vriendelijk. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

1 klein minpuntje, een koelkastje op de kamer zou wel handig zijn geweest.

Perfekt beliggenhed, en perle på jorden, perfekt sted for afslapning. Meget venligt personale og rigtig god mad.

Vi havde en hytte med aircondition, men vi manglede et lille køleskab og sengen var under normal standard i forhold til prisen.

Le cadre est magnifique. Les bungalows sont spacieux presque sur la plage. Le restaurant et le bar de plage sont très agréables. Plage presque privée. Belle piscine. Un hôtel qui porte bien son nom relax!!!

Personnel pas toujours sympathique (cela dépend sur qui on tombe). Belle carte de restaurant mais beaucoup de plats et de boissons pas disponibles. Prix un peu élevé du resto pour la Thaïlande.

Le lieu le côté paisible et relaxant

Smuk tropisk have med dejlige hytter med terasse. Lige ned til bugt. Restauranten er virkelig dejlig, med utroligt sødt / hjælpsomt personale. God strandbar lige ved siden af. Ren afslapning !

Restaurantpriserne er lidt høje når man tænker på prisniveauet i Thailand.

Релакс- он и есть релакс. В домике даже телевизора не было. Да он и не нужен.Пляж в 10-и метрах.Море чистое. Народу совсем немного.По ночам пляж кишит раками-отшельниками.В общем 4+ по пятибальной шкале.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt spontan verlängert. Uns hat insbesondere die ruhige Lage direkt am Meer gefallen und die absolute Ruhe. Restaurant ist nicht ganz günstig, aber das Essen ist sehr sehr lecker. Personal -egal ob an der Bar, an der Rezeption oder im Restaurant- war immer ausgesprochen freundlich und auch immer sehr hilfsbereit. Nette Atmosphäre!

keine kostenfreien Poolhandtücher, Ausstattung/Sauberkeit der Zimmer und auch des VIP-Bungalows entsprachen nicht ganz dem Preis.
