Rimping Village

Excelente relación calidad-precio, con todas las comodidades y detalles de un buen hote. Muy familiar con el personal que se desvive por ayudar en todo lo que se necesite y darte información de todo siempre con una sonrisa. Arm nos mimó los dias que estuvimos y es encantador. El hotel está cerca del mercado de noche y en un minuto de tuc-tuc de todo el centro. Tuvimos la grata sorpresa de que el precio incluyó el transfer del hotel hasta el aeropuerto.

Hemos estado en muchos hoteles en diferentes paises y este es el mejor: solo tiene 24 habitaciones distribuidas en dos plantas de un edificio tradicional que forma una "U" en torno a una piscina y un jardin estupendos. Es muy muy tranquilo, la atención por el personal del hotel es exquisita y las habitaciones grandes y cómodas, decoradas al estilo tradicional. El restaurante es excelente y muy barato, aunque el hotel además está cerca de los 3 mejores restaurantes de Chiang Mai, a la orilla del río. Lo dicho: un hotel excelente.

Fantastic staff and good location, breakfast was great and the pool was nice. Would go back without a doubt.

It is classified as a 3 star hotel but in fact, it is better than most of the 4 star hotels that we have been to. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and the service is impeccable. Lovely swimming pool in a peaceful setting. Generous buffet breakfast with some Thai dishes which vary daily. And I enjoy looking at the wall of bamboo trees on the side when we have alfresco breakfast. Free internet in lobby and free wireless access in room.

It's very homey. And I've never seen such a caring staff. Usually people don't do this for money, they must be truly enjoying their job.

It's trifles, but I think the room would be significantly improved by putting in a couple of bedside mats and some spare hooks in the bathroom.

Hotel staff are extremely helpful and have very good English.Able to explain where to find good restaurants shopping etc. They helped us change our flights home

Construction work going on which they did apologies for but it went on on Sunday as well. Rooms are a bit dated and dark. Could do with a refurbish. Hotel is a bit expensive for standard enough accomadation.

The calm enviornmet, the lovely staff that did absolutly everything to make us feel good.

Air con wasn't the best but was still ok.

Pick up at airport met on time in large air conditioned vehicle, very impressed. Checkin was quick and very informative of available trips, transport and surrounding area, ie restaurants, shops etc. Room good size, bed very comfortable, good size walkin shower, all linen and towels were clean and even smelled of lavender, very clean room. Breakfast plenty of choice and kept refreshed. Food generally very good although hotel prices are always higher than surrounding restaurants. All staff extremely friendly, courteous and NOTHING was too much trouble no matter how busy they were. Location to everything is superb. Generally EXCELLENT!!!!!! and would recommend to everyone (please don't everyone go as we don't want it becoming too popular)

The staff and grounds were exceptional and the hotel was very good value

Our stay at the Rimping Village in Chiang Mai was one of the highlights of our time in Thailand. From the time we were met by the free shuttle service at the airport the service was impeccable. We especially liked the free bikes that enabled us to wheel our way around the city, a great way to explore Chiang Mai!

We’ve never seen such customer service and staff anywhere in the world – extremely attentive and paying attention without being obtrusive. Always at your service and extremely helpful. Hotel’s location is also very good, though not in the very center, everything is so close in Chiang Mai and they also provide free bikes.
