Rimping Village    

The level of customer service was above and beyond our expectations and the best we have ever experienced in our many years of traveling around the world. Nothing was too much trouble.

The location was great, a good walk to the old city, a little tough when the weather is hot, but certainly possible. Plenty of nearby markets' restaurants & bars. The staff here are awesome, friendly, helpful always smiling always willing assist you if they can. A great place to base yourself, the staff at reception will happily recommend, plan & book your tours & offer advice on what to do in Chiangmai.

The swimming pool was very warm, would have been nice to have been able to have a refreshing swim after a big day of exploring Chiangmai.

Staff very accommodating, cheerful and keen to share their knowledge of Chiang Mai and its history, customs etc.Alll of this right up to the time we left with a free train station transfer.

A lovely hotel but just a little bit "tired".

The smiling staff was accommodating, helpful and friendly ! AC worked well. WiFi was strong. Breakfast was varied and very good. Bedding and beds were very comfortable. Pillows were both soft! (and firm). Family suite (113) was very large. Loved that you could jump on a bike for the day- or to run to the grocery store 2 blocks away. This modern western-like grocery store even has a wine section! Easy walk to the Night market!

I am disappointed in the Instant coffee (nescafe) at breakfast. I missed a fresh brewed coffee! Pool area was a bit worn. Lighting in bathroom was dim, it was hard to put on make up. Minor things, as the staff and our comfort were top notch.

The staff were amazing at this hotel. Nothing was too much for them and they were always super friendly. Nice hotel, clean with great pool only 10 mins walk from night bazaar area.

The service at Rimping Village is second to none. Add a quiet location, great pool and a very good restaurant and you understand why it rates so well.

My second stay here, still fault free apart from the rock hard beds that appear to be the standard across Asia.

A very peaceful and comfortable place, especially for longer stays. The hotel is popular with couples and families. It is well designed and looked after, with very good amenities and unbelievably friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is a quarter an hour walk from the old city; plenty of eateries, bars and massage places, as well as the Night Bazaar, are along the way to the town. Free bike rentals are very handy - Chiang Mai is great to be cycled around; staff will also arrange well-prices tuk-tuk or taxi. Breakfast is excellent - plentiful, varied and as healthy as one likes. When needed, staff made phone calls on our behalf and, on the way back, offered a free airport transfer.

Filtered coffee and the bar -otherwise excellent - closing too early.

All of the staff at Rimping Village was more than helpful. Every time we returned to the hotel, we were greeted with a smile, and they went out of their way to make sure our needs were taken care of. Loved the use of bicycles for free! What a great way to explore the city!

Air conditioning was not as powerful as I would have liked, but staff did check in on us once we made them aware of problem. No elevator, which could be difficult if you have heavy luggage. Also, you could hear neighbors.

Fantastic service. Staff are friendly, warm and helpful. Convenient location as they offer free bicycles for rent. It's only a 10-minute ride to Thapae Gate. Great price for all the comfort.

Not a thing. Would certainly return to Rimping Village should I visit Chiang Mai again.

The pool seemed to be clored too much. Also , after a room change (211) there were much mosquitos at the wall. Coffee was not drinkable.

Very friendly staff. They do everything to make your stay the most pleasant. Very good location, next to the night market, just 10 mn of walk and quite quiet place. Great breakfast buffet under the big tree in the garden.

very nice service, friendly staff; my family and i was so impressed by the birthday cake and the hand made card when we were back from outside; they even know it was my birthday! will highly recomand it to my friends!

the hotel is very well located up a little ally, that causes it to be very central yet quite. good breakfast, they give you free bicycle to get around. the best no dout is the STAFF ! each & every one of them is just AMAZING ! they are so friendly always smiling and really give you great feeling of being at home. there is nothing too much for them, always asking how you are, where & what did you do today and give very useful and helpful advice and local tips. I tour around the world a lot !! much much more then the average person, (just in the last 8 years 17 different countrys ) have been to many hotels & resorts and from my personal expireance - the staff here is the BEST I have seen all over the places I have been in the world!

there are some mosquito but that cannot be avoided been so close to the river - although they do the maximum in the hotel providing very room with an electric machine.

Peaceful and relaxing, not far from everything, the staff are the the best in Thailand.

Staff were fantastic, so helpful. Great to have such a peaceful pool to cool down in. Loved it and would go back anytime.

The staff made us feel like family from the moment they picked us up. We didn't want to leave. Great quiet location. Near the night market. Rimping Deluxe room was big and comfortable.

We liked everything, the breakfast, the pool, the friendly and helpful staff, the location. It was our 2nd stay in Rimping Village and we highly recommend it!
