Everything about the hotel was excellent. Good value for money. We had six rooms and everyone of us had an excellent time. Great sea view rooms and good location. The spa is excellent and service staff were very helpful. Breakfast was lavish and served good indian dishes. Great place. Shall visit again !!! One small request. While we were returning from coral island, our spead boat decided to leave us directly to the hotel beach. While we came off the boat and were walking towards our hotels, there were sharp rocks below the water. Though many off us had small cuts, one of our friend had a large cut and had to be taken to a nearby hospital where he had 10 stiches. The initial care was taken by the hospital clinic. Request you to place a sign board so that such accidents do not happen in future.

The room is very comfortable, the service is very good, and the hotel facilities are excellent. The Internet charge is on the high side, 600 baht per day. And when we decided to use it, the wireless network was down.

I have been staying at the Royal Cliff since the early '80s. They have four distinctively different 'wings' at their location, I.E. Main wing, Royal wing, Grand wing, and Terrce wing .... each one unique, each one very comfortable, clean, luxurious! Very friendly and helpful staff. Their Grill Room has received the coveted most 'Outstanding' award from the internationally recognized 'Wine Spectator' for the past 12 years. Room rates vary from us$ 150 (incl. 2 breakfasts) to over a thousand. This Spa Resort offers 'one-stop-shopping' with four fabulous pools, clean 'private' beaches, and you never really need go into Pattaya City. Booking.com was the only site that 'offered', the Royal Cliff's Mini Suite - Honeymoon Suite which have just been totally remodeled and a 'steal' at us$ 150 !!

Comments are about the Beach Resort (there are 4 separate hotels in the same resort - make sure you read appropriate comments before booking. Views were good. Grounds are well kept and expansive. Fitz pool and surroundings. Travel desk - arranged great elephant village tour. Very international - people and cultures from all around the world. If you want to be out of the hustle of Pattaya - it is a good place to be. 1. Restaurant - staff forget to smile and service is very slow except for clean up after breakfast. Manager, get your staff to show guests Thai hospitality! 2. Afternoon shuttle only - unless you intend to do resort sports or poolside - you will need to book a taxi 3. Group tours - many Eastern European large groups - like many groups can be rude, loud and inconsiderate of others that are not in their group. 4. Food & Drink Prices - mini-bar is just silly prices for Pattaya 5. housekeeping & general management poor - during our stay there were 3 used mattresses in the hallway!

The staff were unbelievable. Coming from a hotel background myself, I can truly say they were EXCELLENT in hospitality! The jelly fish in the sea water (not the hotel's fault though).

The staff was very accommodating and tried their best to meet all of our needs. The room’s view was spectacular and the room itself was very warm and charming. We in joyed the comfort of an extra large bed, so difficult to get out of in the morning. And the modern bath and spacious closet was a plus. The location was so fun also with plenty of out door trekking available to those that want a lite foot adventure to an extraordinary Buddha at the top of the hill directly adjacent from the hotel. So nice and highly recommend this to anyone wanting to spoil that special someone in their life.

Hotel staffs are so helpful and eager to service. The restaurant is great especially Grill room. We ask for baby cot, the quality is bad. We have to let the baby sleep in the adult bed.

I tried to find another location for this trip, but again found that this hotel, with it's available facilities and freindly staff, is the most suitable option. So back again to my Pattaya's favorit hotel It is about time the Management looks into introducing free internet acess; for one user 1800 bht/week is a bit high in this IT age. The location is away from the center, but an dining alternative is available next door (area accessible through the beach area)

This is the second time I stay at the Royal Cliff Hotel . The location of the hotel is quite suitable for someone who wants tranquility. The leisure facilities are excellent and will be one of my reasons to stay at the hotel again. The staff should be more friendly and attentive to guest requests/complaints. When I checked in , my room safe was locked and although I reported the matter to the reception more then once nothing was done and the safe was still locked when I checked out after 4 days.

Had a great stay. We were upgraded to the Grand Hotel, a nice touch. Room had perfect sea views, housekeeping was first rate. Breakfast buffet was perfect, seating either inside or outside. Beach area is largely a sand strip above a seawall as the beach itself is submerged except at low tide - due to the location of the hotel on a rocky point. The pool areas are terrific and we spent most of out time there. Nice views of the ocean, especially from the horizon pool. Great fitness area. Overall a good value and a delightful place to visit.

Staff very friendly and competent from the guardian until the room personnal . congratulation personnel très competent du gardien au service d'étage, impressionnant de rigueur et d'attention, respect absolu pour le client. The hotel is outside the pattaya polution 3 km from the famous walking street. I mean the tranquility and the environment outside pattaya is a luxe for your holiday. Breakfast for gremmlins lol a rising smile after the wake up. This is a hotel who merit his 5* one of the best hotel in pattaya un vrai hotel 5* assurement dans le top 3 a pattaya. There is always something that you don't like if you are not positive. Nothing who shocked me and embarassed me, except the good things.

The honeymoon Suite was really nice, with a lovely view, great bed and a stuning bathroom. The boys at the concierge were very helpfull, very smiley, very polite and they give us more information about the trips around than the reception staff. The staff a the reception desk was not very friendly and not very helpfull ( in particular a man ) . The mountain view rooms did not have a flat screen tv( like you advert On the site- was in fact a grandma tv, very dissapointing for a 5 stars hotel and for the price you are paying for the room. The bathroom was very small, the toilet seat very old and water at the tap was smelling very bad

“Very nice spacious new rooms. Seaside view with the balcony was also worth for the money - 3200 baht per night for two persons at the end of January 2012. Comfortable bed and big enough bathroom with proper shower and small jacuzzi pool. And of course the location is best possible for solo traveller looking for fun -on the beach front in soi 12 - Central festival, soi 7/8 bars and walking street are all withing walking distance.” Erno, Rovaniemi |
