The staff were wonderful and the place has a relaxed, friendly feel. A nice alternative to busier beach-side locations in Phuket. Well worth a stay if you are interested in a friendly, kid-friendly, safe, very affordable location. It is a bit of a walk to the beach (about ten minutes).

Phil, Henri and the staff were all fantastic. Checkin was a breeze, so was checkout. Nothing is too much trouble, their local advice and help is priceless. We stayed near the pool in a 2 bedroom apartment and couldn't have been happier. Will definitely stay here again when in Phuket next. Our 4 days felt like 2 weeks we were so relaxed. Far enough away trom patong but not too far

Noise from nearby clubs up to 2am and mosque prayers at 5.30am each morning.

This hotel is a good 3/4 star as oppose to 4/5 star hotel. That's not a bad thing but just so you know where to set your expectations. The staff are really lovely and helpful and we had very spacious bungalow accommodation which was perfectly clean. It's only a short walk to town and that's a good thing as the beach resorts look fairly tacky.

One or two 'Eastenders' around the pool but not so many that it is a put off and the pool is lovely. Maybe it needs a ladies touch around the place but I would recommend his hotel if staying in Kamala.

We stayed at this very charming hotel during 11 days in January. Fantastic plays with great staff, good service and homy feeling. Some might want a hotel on the beach but for us the location a bit away from all the buzz was an advantage, the 15 minutes walk only did us good and once you are back at the hotel in the afternoon it is like an oasis in Kamala. We can recommend this hotel for any couple or family that appreciate calmness and comfort.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Embassy Resort & Spa. We can't believe how lucky we were to find such a beautiful spot. The owners and staff were very helpful and very friendly; nothing was too much trouble. Our villa was beautiful, clean, relaxing and only a couple of metres from the pool. The villa was serviced daily and the owners were always available to advise re local information, trips, taxis, etc. We had initially planned to travel around the island and do a bit of sightseeing but after spending our first day at the Royal Embassy, we couldn't find a reason to leave.... We ate in the restaurant every night but one. The meals were beautifully prepared with fresh local produce. All in all, a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing resort. Full marks!

Nice, quiet, friendly, not too big place. Beautiful well kept garden with two swimmingpools. Traditional thai buidings spread around the pools. Big apartment. Good beds. Big bathroom. Airconditioning in both bedroom and livingroom.Well equipped kitchen with big fridge.

The bungalow was beautiful, relaxing, right in front of the pool. The owners were really helpful, the food was delicious, and the location was perfect for us.

free wifi fresh and hot breakfast

We had a lovely, self-contained 2-bedroomed apartment that was extremely comfortable. I had work to do as well as have a holiday, so enjoyed the solid dining table and free wireless internet! The hotel has two lovely swimming pools at its centre, and these we thoroughly enjoyed. In May the place was peaceful and not crowded, with pleasant, friendly service.

отель небольшой, тихий, спокойный, подойдет для семейного отдыха. в него многие приезжают на 2-3 месяца. виллы просто супер, они 2-х комнатные. но если вы с ребенком, то лучше взять апартаменты (то же 2-х комнатные), т.к. в спальне виллы с доп.кроватью будет тесновато. апартаменты очень просторные, с кухней, есть плита, посуда, холодильник, чайник, тостер и кофеварка. мебель с кучей всяких ящичков, под старину, много шкафов, есть даже мини библиотека. в отеле 2 бассейна, примерно одинакового размера, один для детей, другой - для взрослых. хозяин отеля парижанин, очень приветливый и участливый. в ресторане отеля можно достаточно вкусно и не на много дороже местных кафешек поесть. единственное придется очень-очень долго ждать. и блюда почему-то приносят в обратном порядке. моей дочери сначала принесли торт с мороженным, а когда наконец принесли всем есть, ей принесли суп. недалеко от отеля есть магазин типа нашего ашана, биг си. в номерах есть халаты. без доплаты поставили ребенку дополнительную кровать

первое, что не понравилось, так это шум в апартаментах. может на других этажах и тише, но у нас просто кошмар. с одной стороны, начиная с 5-ти утра слушаешь мечеть, с другой стороны с 8 утра до 8-9 вечера стройка. самое обидное, что в виллах, которые одноэтажные, тишь, да гладь, ни мечети тебе, ни стройки. в отеле все платно, даже 2 бутылки воды, которые стоят под табличной "приветственная вода", если выпьете, придется за нее платить. пляжные полотенца платные, причем не залог, а именно платишь по 100батт за каждое, т.к. мы останавливались в нем только на 3 дня, нам разрешили заплатить 1 раз, как часто приходится платить за полотенца остальным не понятно. но вам никто, как оказалось, не запрещает брать на пляж и в бассейн банные полотенца отеля (они бесплатные). уборка номеров то же достаточно странная. ночнушки/пижамы нам скинули на стол к телевизору, постель заправили, полы помыли, полотенца заменили и вынесли мусор. причем полотенца для лица заменили маленькими салфетками 15см на 15см, гель и шампунь никто не пополняет. расположение не особо удобное, выходишь на шоссе, тротуара практически нет.есть недалеко магазин 7/11, море далеко, да и пляж оставляет желать лучшего. если вы конечно не были на кате или кароне, то наверное вам и здесь понравиться. мы проходили через речку-вонючку, которая втекает в море и по-моему канализацию, которая то же благополучно втекала в море. одного раза было достаточно сходить. такси здесь дороже, чем на кате, до аэропорта нам обошлось на 100батт дешевле, чем мы ехали из аэропорта до каты, хоты ехать гораздо ближе. до патонга 400 батт что такси, что тук- тук. единственный плюс пляжа, стоимость шезлонгов уменьшается очень прилично, если взять сразу не один, а хотя бы 4.
