Rucksack Hostel  

Very informative and helpful staff. Convenient location, hotel with simple and comfy rooms.

The hostel is awful and so disgusting. The rooms are nothing like the photos here in booking, nor in the site of the hostel. Everything is old and dirty, remote controls were broken. It was like a prison with bugs, ants and so on.... There is nothing in the room, you don`t have where to put something. There was no hot water and very low pressure of it. One of the days there was a storm and it was raining all the day, so all of the hotel was in water, the walls, the floor...everything. The staff was terrible, most of them do not speak english and so unhelpful, rude and unfriendly. The last day we asked them if it`s possible to print our boarding passes for our flight the following day and they said we have to pay 10 Baht per page...... Ridiculous!!!!! We do not reccomend this hostel!!! It was terrible!!!!

the decoration is really good!it is very nice to live in such a room.the TV program is also great for travels from the world.

well,In fact it is the same owner of both this hostel and backpacker`s house in the neighbour.So why don`t put some sign about that?

The location is near by transport station. And some friendly receptionist. But I will not stay here again,for sure!

Don't u ask for extra bed becoz,they're will not put it. So u have to pay for one more room. Reservation officer don't care to read any comment on the booking request. The comment on here it's not important for them too. Let's see! (Rucksack and backpacker same owner) Nothing in the room except bed. In the same location other hotel is better such as chinotel is near by the market and close to transport station too,easy to go any where.

The room price is ery affordable and reasonable for a solo traveler and backpacker like me. The Thai staff are some kinda friendly and somehow entertains Asian like me, not only the white people. They make it sure that the occupier has the better comfort during their stay. The location is surrounded by establishments especially cheap restaurants and convenience stores. And that is one reason whhy I chose the place bcoz anytime I got hungry, there was a place where can buy something to eat with reasonable price. It was a cozy place where can be friends with other backpackers who seemed friendly too.

Its just far from the airport where can only ride a taxi with some kinda unreasonable fare around 500-700 baht since the place is only 30-40mins. Away from the phuket airport. As well as, the ride that I took cost me 250baht for only 15min ride to the bus station where I took the Bangkok ride. I understand that its their dealing price with foreigner like me but of course not all the foreign travelers have much much funds for sight seeing which is also deductable of riding fares. Rucksack has the reasonable price for 3nights which I chose. The food is also cheap anywhre especially in the market and at the sides of the roads. Only the rides like Tuk-Tuk taxi, even the pricate vehicles dealt with rucksack hostel. Its ok for now.But maybe next time, I wouldm prefer the hotel or room near the airport and/or near the bus station. But I like rucksack. No problem.

The staff are very friendly and helping me a lot when I need information. They also help me to book a taxi to airport.

The staffs are helpful. They can speak well in english. One of the staffs also can speak well in Malay Language.

As a one night stop over this place was great. Location in the main town. On arriving I was giving a map with a self mini tour of the town. I wasn't in the main building but that was ok. Room clean, moden with flat screen sky TV, fan and good shower in bathroom. The reception was helpful and full of fun tours. Bought boat tickest to Phi Phi. Mini bus pick up was on time.

No problems with the hotel or staff, always shop around when buying boat, train,bus tickets and tours.

Tous les bus sont devant l'hôtel pour se rendre aux différentes plage de l'île. 30 bahts aller !!! Bonne ambiance dans les parties communes pour rencontrer des jeunes qui voyagent.

Il nome e diverso da quello che abbiamo prenotato, staff poco disponibile e non molto simpatico.

No me ha gustado nada este hotel, no os lo recomendaria, a pesar de que la habitación es bastante correcta la zona es pesima, no recomiendo coger hotel por esta zona, es muy fea, os recomiendo ir a Paton!! Por otro lado, vas a un sitio que es un bar que hace de recepción y luego el hotel esta en otro lado, para entrar parece una carcel y hay perros que parece que esten medio muertos (cosa que da bastante pena) por alli en medio del edificio

справедливое соотношение цена - качество. маленькая , но аккуратная комната .в номере большой телевизор и кондиционер . для путешественников , которые только ночуют в отеле - идеальный вариант . вода , интернет , свет - свободно .в коридорах чисто и светло круглые сутки . практически нет шума уличного движения . овощной рынок и остановка автобусов в пяти шагах . через дорогу банк . очень приветливый и внимательный персонал на ресепшене .

вид из окна на крыши домов . входная дверь очень тонкая , а замок на двери очень плохой.цены на еду и напитки большие (хотя рядом есть ,,кафе,,тайской кухни )

чистые номера, горячий душ, и тишина ночью. хостел подошел отлично, т.к. мы туда приходили только ночевать, большего от него и не требовалось)

из-за отсутствия холодильника на наши открытые сладости очень быстро пришли муравьи, только не понятно откуда, ведь окна мы не открывали. но после отправления шоколадок в мусорку, они нас больше не беспокоили. в нашем номере не было каких либо шкафов или тумбочек, вещи из рюкзаков и чемоданов вытащить было не куда(

Bon hôtel. Propre et agréable au calme. Équipement tout neuf.

Pas facile à trouver car pas le nom de l'hôtel il faut aller à la réception du backpacker juste à côté ils gèrent les deux hôtels.

La chambre était nikel. Tout l'équipement était neuf et moderne. Parfait pour une nuit en transit à Phuket

Réception 24/24 avec vente billets pour les iles et transport de l'hotel jusqu'à l'embarcadère

Absence de décoration, long couloir aux néons blafards jusqu’à la chambre qui est propre mais impersonnelle.

Удобно расположен в центре старой части Пхукет-тауна. Обстановка в номере доволно скудная, но всё новое и чистенькое. Расположен в двух шагах от более известного "бекпекера". Собственно регистрация там и происходит.

Zentrale gute Lage und eine günstige Unterkunft, waren viele Deutsche dort und sehr gut belegt. Etwas besser als ich erwartet habe für den kleinen Preis, von daher durchaus zu empfehlen, obwohl es sicherlich bessere gibt, was wir in der darauffolgenden Nacht im Cool Residence erfahren durften.

Wifi funktionierte nur am anderen Ende des Ganges, sodass ich mal ne Stunde auf dem Boden vor dem Zimmer einiger Koreaner verbrachte, die sich heftig stritten. Das hat natürlich nur bedingt was mit der Bewertung zu tun, schon klar. Fazit: Es war ok, ich würde es sogar nochmal buchen, aber nur wenn ich andere noch schlechter finden würde, ausbaufähig würde ich sagen, und soooo megagünstig dann auch nicht, dass man sagen könnte, jawohl, nur wieder da hin... Kommt halt drauf an welche Präferenzen man hat, nicht wahr?!

The room was very good for only paying a small amount. Also the staff was excellent. We arrived around 1 am and was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff was still at that hour. They have 24 hour check-in and the rOom was decent. It has tv, air con and decent bed.

That you have to pay a 200 baht deposit but we were given it as soon as we checked out!
