We planned a night stopover but stayed two as the place is so romantic and beautiful. The restaurant serves very good food, the view of the fish pond from our balcony was lovely and its just a really nice place
Breakfast Welcome drink Relaxed attitude Helpful staff Real Thai experience
The resort itself is located away from the beach and the main street, giving it a beautifully secluded feel. Our pond-view villa was comfortable and quiet, overlooking a koi pond and a 30-second walk from the pool. Everything was very clean and tropical and we felt very welcomed and valued by staff. Breakfast, minibar essentials and bus transport to sites in Hua Hin were complimentary and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were blown away by this resort and can't recommend it enough!
Great place to stay and relax... Staff is so friendly and since the place is quite small is easy for them to look after their guests. Breakfast is just perfect! Plenty of places to eat, pharmacies, internet shops, supermarkets nearby and the shuttle service the hotel offers is just perfect to move around to the night markets and the beach. 10 min away from downtown Hua Hin... Will come back
Nothing really, the beach is 50 meters away but you can't really sunbath over there. The nearby beaches are good to go anyway... Place is just perfect... Enjoy your stay
Very nice place and good staffs. Clean swimming pool. Quiet and discret.
Staff very friendly and couldn't help enough. Definitely felt that guests were the priority rather than making money. Pond view villas were the most private. Breakfast was great. Food is not served after 4pm so we had most of our meals just before this and it was delicious, inexpensive and completely safe. Make sure you really get into Hua Hin - we initially thought we'd seen the best part but were mistaken.
I liked everything about Ruenkanok - the Management, staff, rooms, breakfast..I Am going back again next year. Just lovely.
there was really nothing not to like
This is a very visually appealing resort. It has everything you can think of. The staff are super helpful and pleasant. They offer transport to the night markets and beach. It is in a great location for food, spas, pubs and just a sneeze to the beach.
If you are a light sleeper and upstairs noise bothers you only book upstairs accommodation!!!!. We booked a beautiful suite, it was amazing until about 4.00pm when the upstairs room became occupied. It sounded like a herd of elephants, but theres more, the noise continued until 12 ish am when my husband and I finally fell asleep. It completely ruined our one evening away from Bangkok. So only Book if it the second floor.
not close from center
We have stayed here many times and ways enjoy the hotel and Thai atmosphere and the young staff are keen friendly and helpful.
With 3 large cases and some bags there was little room to move and it was therefore a little like camping not being able to unpack. The WiFi was unreliable. At this time the hotel is relatively expensive and there are better deals in Hua Hin in hotels with more space and facilities.
1st time stay in such a themed facilities, very nice experience and thoroughly enjoy the stay. A bit of out of the way from the city central, the hotel provide complementary transport to the beach and night market. WiFi internet is strong and fast, it will be good if there is a common access. My WiFi access is out of range when I'm having breakfast in the restaurant or sunbathing by the pool. The breakfast is a la carte style, with both Western and Thai cusine.
The villa I stayed does not have sheltered balcony so cannot sit outside to enjoy the view. Have to collect my cloths when it rains.
Everything, wonderful setting, great villas. Staff so friendly, the day girls and the night man were great. Only a short ride into town 150 Baht. Good breakfast. Good pool, also close to the beach. So peaceful unlike some other big hotels, you have your privacy in this place.
We loved our stay here! The staff sorted out our room quickly from the time of booking late at night when we arrived and met us on arrival, staff are cheerful and genuine and the accommodation is set in a tranquil and beautiful garden. In the morning we enjoyed delicious breakfasts by the pool. They were also able to advise us on a direct shuttle bus back to the airport in Bangkok which was very convenient and cheap!
The free shuttle from the hotel to the beach was a disappointment as it is not to the main beach but to a sad and dirty stretch of beach covered with litter and jellyfish-better to leave this and get a taxi to the stretch of beach that starts near the Hilton :)
Small cosy hotel located close to the beach. Good size villas. Lunch at the hotel is really good. The pool is small so I would primarily recommend this hotel to couples. The shuttle bus to the night market and other beach is very appreciated. We booked airport transfer through the hotel and payed 2500 bath for 2 persons each way which worked out great. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful.
Lots of mosquitos at night so don't forget to bring your mosquito spray. The wifi stopped working in our room after half our stay.
The hotel was intimate and had character, short walk to the beach and shuttle bus service twice a day. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was excellent for such a small resort.
Having to leave!
Nicely done place, nice garden, Good breakfast Free Shuttle to Hua Hin in the evening.
This is my second time to stay in this hotel. The staffs are nice to serve me and the atmosphere is very comfortable to stay. I like the swimming pool with massage function. Until now, I've only met the guests from western and Japan. It's really good to choose.
Some staffs are not familiar to speak English.
Room an garden of a traditional feel environmentaly.Tranquility and complete calm a prerequisite. Highly recommended to clear and relax your mind.
Frogs are noisy at night!
-the design of the hotel, very nice hotel resort -clean and spacious room -proximity to the beach (50m) -very nice and copious breakfast with a good mix of international and Thai food -free shuttle to the night market
We had a wonderfull stay at Ruenkanok!
Beach nearby quiet and beautiful. Shuttle bus is fantastic. Helpful staff. Great breakfast. Lovely rooms. Great pool.
Little far from town but shuttle bus a great asset.
If you want a decent hotel, in a quiet location then this hotel is a gem. Excellent staff, great quiet location and a sprawling beach literally 15secs walk away. We had a pond view room which was more than adequate, and quiter than the rooms around the pool. The hotel has a tuk tuk that leaves at specific times only, so we hired a motorbike from a business 5 mins walk on the left of the main street. And Huahin Market Village mall was a 6min motor down the main road which was never so busy. There is shops and cafes etc very close and we were lucky enough that a small Thai restaurant was close (2nd restaurant on right with blue chairs) it's a mum and dad joint which we just called 'Mamma and Pappas' we ate there everyday for lunch, and it was the best Thai food I ever had and we never paid more than 200baht for 4 plates and full tummies, even one week away I miss that joints food. Doesn't look like much but I assure you you won't be disapointed. The breakfast at Ruenkanok is very very good. The 8.8 rating on the hotel is deserved. Although the hotel doesn't have room service and there is no fan in the bathroom it's still such a romantic little boutique hotel that has such a romantic feel to it. The atmosphere at the hotel is truly relaxing, and the beautiful beach close by was great, hard packed sand made it good to walk on.If you want a huge hotel , this isn't for you. If your after a special place for you and your loved one then look no further. A big thank you to all the lovely staff for looking after us. Kob Khun Kap.
When I arrived the staff were extremely pleasant and allowed us to check in early. We have a 2 year old son and the staff showed genuine care for him when he was around the pool. The setting is very Thai style and everything is clean and accessible. WiFi was ultra fast! Breakfast was excellent. Good variety to choose from. Eat as much as you want.
The beach was not part of the resort but is was not far from the resort. The sign reads 50 metres. I think its a bit further than that but its not far. Can not walk to Hua Hin from the resort. But from the main road there are plenty of options for getting around. Overall I thought it was a little bit expensive for what it was but I would probably stay here again.
Nice Thai style small hotel with comfortable, clean and spacious house. Although English of the Thai staff is not great, that even has its charm. They are very friendly and their service is excellent. Near to the beach (not the touristic part, there was nobody there).
