Lots of stairs and a bit smelly bathroom, but nothing that really matters.
Staff staff staff. They helped us with everything we needed, from touristic information to solutions for mosquitos in our bedroom (they even bought a mosquito net for us). Nice and comfortable bedroom.
The bathroom is too small. No elevator.
Breakfast was so delicious!!
Only a minor thing, but the shower wasn't the best. Laundry service was a little pricey.
Friendly and helpful staff, who went out of their way to help. Excellent breakfast. Good size room.
Staff were really helpful and the breakfast tasty and filling. Good location and excellent rooms. Well worth the money.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Staff Near downtown, night bazaar and warorot market
- room doors locked by hanging lock and small doors ;-) - small doors to bathroom and no space to turn around with less privacy,
- super friendly and helpfull staff, thanks for all the help :-) - free bananas, coffee etc all day long, breakfast a la carte made just for you - delicious - very clean there - rustikal rooms ( pitty i had no window with view ) - very close to typical thai market and night bazaar and river - really interstig place worth to try to get know real life
Nothing to mention.
Fantastic Breakfast, great staff, good location with so many food options... we will return
Lots of stairs is a problem for heavy suitcases. We fortunately had strong youngsters with us.
Fruit, coffee and biscuits available on the house, arrangements made for us without a problem, very friendly reception staff.
a bit noisy and the breakfast has only salty options
Very helpful staff
Immediate location is kind of in amongst a market - it just feels a bit run down
Really friendly staff Bed was comfy Room was nicely appointed Location handy for night market and old town
Steep stairs.. but its not an issue
The style, the free coffee and water
Bathroom very small (but well done) and one of them had a weird smell Limited English TV stations
Spacious, well decorated rooms Good wifi Nice staff Location at first seems kind of random but is actually pretty central to walk to the sights Great breakfast! Free drinking water fill up Free coffee tea and cookies 24/7 Guest fridge was great if you had leftovers Good local recommendations (go to street pizza!)
We stayed in Rustic guesthouse for 4 nights during our stay in Chiang mai and loved every second of it. The rooms are nice and well kept, the staff is amazing and very helpful with anything you need and the location is amazing. It's located right next to three markets including the night market and it's a ten min walk to the old city. Highly recommended!!
Everything , also breakfast was pretty cool ,
lots of stairs, taxis have a hard time finding initially. Make sure to get the phone # of the Rustic so that taxis can call and find out exactly where to take you. If you have knee problems the stairs can be a bit daunting.
Staff, service, cleanliness, comfort, common areas, rooms, wifi, proximity. This is a great place, and if you talk to the staff they go above and beyond expectations to make you feel at home and to help you out.
We initially booked this place for one night, however we enjoyed our stay here with its friendly and helpful so much we extended our stay here by another five nights. The old town is a short walking distance away while a ten minute walk in the other direction takes you over the river to a good selection of riverside eating establishments
- The guest house was hidden among the wholesaler area. The surround area is a bit crowded. - Room is quite dark due to neighbor building blocked the sunlight
Every details of the room showed owner's the taste and his sincere to guests. Love the room design and every peace of decoration.
Nothing. I would advise having their number or a map of their place on hand (they are good about emailing it), drivers have a hard time finding the place. If you have problems walking stairs you might have some difficulty.
The staff treats you like friend or family, from an impromptu local market tour to letting my friend and me borrow their helmets. Facilities are great and in walking distance of old town.
Room slightly cramped, but not really a problem
Very nice staff, a lot of fun to chat with them. Were also able to help us when looking for stuff. Rooms were clean and very well-decorated Cozy atmosphere Breakfast was good All in all, we had a really great time!
The boss and waitress are so nice. This is a good place, next time in Chiang Mai, I will live here again.
breakfast choice of 4 set dishes, bit boring
staff very friendly and spoke English well
Splendid place, lovely staff!
Rustic Guest House is a cosy hideaway and great value for money. But best of all are the wonderful staff who are warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The owner Nick went out of his way to ensure that every request was met, as did the other staff. Thank you!
Owner Nick is a nice person! Wifi reception is really good, routers everywhere. Easy to get to know other travelers! I met a Japanese couple and a Chinese one, a nice trip to hang around with them. Effort seen in room decoration: Use of Samsung TV, nice floor coating, etc.
