Very cheap. Pool was good for price. Very standard. Cute though
Lizzards everywhere. Staff have poor english. Curtains blow everywhere and dont close fully so everyone can see in to ur room
we booked this place because of the swimming pool, but the fan room is very disappointing, we upgraded to AC room after one night, which is much better.
water heater was broken, it took them two hours to fix.
The price for a place with pool and boutique style deco was great. Decent menu and cute dogs.
the staff by Thai standards were not great and you seemed to bother them whenever asking for basing requirements (such as towels). The place despite calling itself Boutique had the vibe of a busy backpackers hostel and no atmosphere. Safety seems to be an issue and you must be careful of your belongings. Wi-fi only available in some parts of the hotel although it even worked in my room despite them saying it was lobby wi-fi only. I think it still is value for money as you get a nice-looking place with pool and restaurants but the vibe is not very nice when busy. Maybe in a more quiet period it would be better.
Computer room out of order (has been for the last 6 months we were told)
Great price and location, and very peaceful.
Wifi not available in the rooms in the back.
Best location close to city, Diamond breakfast club and markets. Pool.
It depends of the room you get. There is some really nice ones. I had a room with window to the Hall. That was not nice. Too loud and disturbed the nights because of turning the lights on for cleaning in the early morning. This time not the same positive experience then last time.
Location Swimming pool
Very old rooms.
Rural atmosphere in an urban environment. Short walk to major sights. Easy going staff, friendly and helpful. Tourist and tour information in the hotel. Optional breakfast excellent and good food locally. Clean pool and cold beer.
Located very well, interior pretty, shady places to relax in the middle of the old tow . Pool clean, cold beer in the fridge for normal price. Very friendly staff
No complaints.... You got more than you paid for
Very noisy, paper thin walls. Had to move out early and change rooms because of noise. The front staff are not friendly. I woulnt stay there again.
The best location in the city, neither to far away from the famous temples nor too noisy to live. The swimming pool is quite good.
Overall a very good place with friendly staff, lockers you can lock with your own lock, and clean aircon rooms.
At that price there is no good excuse not to have the WiFi signal reach into the aircon rooms. Come on guys, another WiFi router costs only 1500B, plus at most 300B of network cable from the common area. Just do it! Water pressure on 2nd floor of aircon room building is a serious problem: shower heater flips on and off and you get alternately scalded and frozen. No setting of the heater fixes this problem because the water pressure drops below the minimum for the heater to stay on at all. Annoying and not too hard to fix (get a different water pump that is sized properly for demand).
Price, location & the beds were comfortable enough.
No cushions on seats discouraged people from sitting in a areas that were meant for people to gather. Flimsy curtains in rooms didn't block out the hall light at all. We got an extra blanket from the desk and draped it over the curtain rod. Wifi was unreliable.
The availability of the pool. Got a shuttle ride from the train since they have a representative stand next to the information desk. But, not on the way back to the train. We had to find our own way, which is was fine by us. Excellent hot showers.
You can only get decent Internet connection if you are in the common open area behind the reception. Also, I killed two visibly big bed bugs until I decided to have they clean the room and the bed sheets.
Didnt like that reception charged a 3% credit card fee without telling me, the first time i had noticed the fee was when i got a receipt - no chip and pin. this was the only hotel to do this
Very good location for sites, places to eat and bars. Decor in seating areas away from public restaurant, very interesting and gave a lovely authentic Thai atmosphere of old. Rooms a bit tired and no decor but clean and comfortable. Take a padlock for free locker near reception desk, for your valuables.
Value for price, but you can find the same room for less money. Though lounge zone and restaurant are good and cozy.
Located in a nice street in the city center. Nice garden with lot's of flowers. It's cheap.
The rooms are definitely not the ones you see in the pictures. In reality they are old, cheap and outdated. Room wasn't cleaned. Door didn't locked well and the was no safe available. Shower was cold (even with the heater on max).
Bed bugs!!!! Staff were rude and ignorant. Noisy!!!
The location is good. Close to the old town and many restaurants around.
The bathing water is not good, as the water amount is little and not hot enough. However, this happened in many hostel I lived in in Thailand, so maybe it is not a very big problem...
Location was perfect
Very hard beds
I like S.K House 1 because the position is very good, near the Tapae Gate, very convinient. Room are simple, but very clean.
Nice staff, nice room and good location ! Absolutely recommendable !
Good location, very near Tha Phae Gate and easy to go night bazaar
Poor staff, they were impolited when we check-in and asking infomation. Our room was full of water when rainning.
