S Sukhumvit Suite Hotel    

Was goed bevallen.

The rooms are spotlessly clean; The staff are incredibly friendly; The internet works faultlessly and is free; The location could not be better - SkyTrain (which you can't hear!) is right outside...as is the BTS; The food is delicious. I stay at numerous 5-star+ hotels around the world, but never feel quite as relaxed as I do at the S Sukhumvit Suites,

Very good apartment. Great location next to BT and MRT and Terminal 21 building with many shops and restaurants.

To hear that I did not have to pay when I wanted to do that. They had already used my credit card. How is that possible? You state that this does not happen, that you have to pay yourself in the local currency. Explanation please???

The hotel is very nice and the rooms were very modern and spacious. The staff was excellent, always smiling and willing to assist me with any need. I did not try the restaurant since I was always out but it seem to have a lot of action, so I would presume it was good. The location was key for me and it was excellent. Next to the entrance of the BTS Skytrain and around the corner of the MRT. There is a huge and excellent mall nearby (Terminal 21) which also has diverse food options. Most of the key tourist attractions are at a distance but it easy to get to with the BTS and Boat ferry. The train for the Airport is just a stop away on the MRT, which was one of the reason I chose the area. Hotel is also close to a variety of nightlife action.

The hotel was nice. The rooms were the same as what you saw on their website with big beds. Staff were courteous, assistive and polite. Able to speak English. Breakfast was good with a few of the items rotating each day. There was a money exchange next door, 2 7/11s on either side of the hotel (short walk), terminal 21 across the road for shopping and restaurant quality food and there was street behind the hotel that had bars and street food. It was extremely convenient that there was direct access to Asok station which saved me and my partner money and we never needed to use a tuk-tuk for travel.

- Bed was a little hard - maids cleaned your room even if you don't have the "make my room" sign on. they don't enter your room if you have the "privacy" sign on. - maids only leave 1 toilet roll in the bathroom. so you find yourself calling reception for more. - shower water temperature was temperamental (either too hot or too cold) - noisy fan in the bathroom which is loud when you're trying to sleep. the only way to turn it off is to take out your key-card of the port, which shuts off all power to your room (i.e. power ports, air con, light, noisy fan). Problem is you wake up in the middle of the night with a layer of sweat, therefore, need to get up and put the card back in the port to turn on the air con to cool the room.

We went there just for 1 night before leaving Bangkok - very well located - friendly staff (who kept our lugage all day before we left to the airport) - breakfast was ok, not great but ok - room was spacious and well equiped - very good value - free wifi

- Located in Asok (close to the bts and malls) so it was pretty noisy but that's probably because of the central location - we had to pay 40baht for a few printings

Location was very strategic and convenient to BTS and MRT stations.

Finer details such as windowless rooms or rooms window facing a corridor of pedestrian walk way. No shaving kits. Shower water temperature inconsistent.

the location is good for taking the commun transports, it's next to the metro and skyrail. the food is good too in the restaurant.

it's a bit noisy during the night, since the hotel is very close to the main road, a lot of motobikes passed in the night.

Excellent location with only seconds from Asok station. The rooms where very clean with free wifi, hair dryer , air conditioning and complimentary toiletries. The staff were friendly, beds were comfortable. And service was excellent. Buffet breakfast was very acceptable.

Not very well known, so taxi driver struggled to find it. Also it is directly on the street with no pull in for a taxi so you have to find it at once or walk a bit from where the taxi can drop you.

Location, good service, helpful staff

No parking space, no gym/pool

The staff was very helpful. When we asked for directions they gave us the right info and never tried to force taxi as only option of transport on us, for this I was truly grateful. (Other places tend to do that.) When I saw we got a room on the ground floor, I was afraid of the possible noise level or kitchen smell but had no problems at all with that later on. The location was fantastic! Everything in reach, and it was very easy to find the place. Over all for me it's a hotel where I gladly go back, got good value for the price.

Don't choose the place if you're looking for fancy view.

This hotel is very nice: Good price, excellent location, friendly staff, good breakfast... I would stay there again.

Swimming pool

The location itself is perfect. The hotel is located just beside Terminal 21 and Soi Cowboy, which fits either family travellers or romance seeker. The location is also convenient due to the fact that BTS (Asoke Station) and MRT (Sukhumvit Station) is just at the doorstep of the hotel, thus making it great for travelling around Bangkok using the public transportation system.

The room is a bit small. That's my opinion.

We booked 4 superior rooms (requested for twin beds by email to the hotel and was pleasantly pleased with their prompt response in confirming 2 rooms with twin beds). However, upon check-in, they could only give us 1 room with twin bedding. Though not really an issue, but it doesn't reflect well on the hotel since they confirmed through email. 2 of the rooms were pretty small. However all the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Rooms has all the features as specified. Excellent location. Asok BTS/MRT interchange literally at your door steps providing easy access to most shopping venues (Terminal 21 is just across the road) /places of interest.You will be very glad with the location of the hotel when you are dead tired after your shopping spree. There is also a pharmacy and a money changer 2 doors away. Staff were courteous and friendly. We actually had no intention to dine in the hotel as through our experience, hotel food is never delicious. What made us changed our minds was the ever friendly and persistent restaurant manager Mr.Boonrak who assured us good Thai food from the hotel. So on our 3rd evening, we gave it a shot. It was indeed a very tasty meal and it is inexpensive. Breakfast was good. They provide Thai and Western spread. Very likely to stay there again.

We experienced inconsistent water temperature from the shower from 2 of the 4 rooms. As for my bathroom, while showering; the water tend to leak out of the shower area onto the floor area of the wash basin and it doesn't flow off causing a waterlog.

great location between nana soi cowboy and 21 shoping mall seconds from the underground really great. you can get to hotel from the airport by train very easy. beautifully decorated very new. the rooms have every thing you need we had problem when checking it it was sorted with out a fuss thats what you want we have already booked again for christmas recomend couples mature people . it was 1/2 the price of holiday in with the same quality as there better rooms and free wife great value for money.

there are some starter rooms with no window, and there is still some building work being finished so 8;30 there can be noise. because its a low rise hotel only 5 floors there are no real vies out of the windows

The staff in general were very nice and welcoming here and greeted me with a smile throughout. The hotel is in a great location with both BTS and underground train stations very close, as well as some shops and nightlife on your doorstep. I found the rooms to be well equipped with WIFI, free toiletries, safe, tv. Everything you'd expect basically. As well as this, the rooms are very modern and look impressive.

There were just a few minor negatives really. On two occasions my room was recieveing a leak from the floor above which left a puddle on the floor. The cleaning staff seemed to be well aware of this problem when I brought it up, so I did wonder why nothing has been done about it. Also, if you are easily woken by noise then this may not suit you. The nightlife, construction work and nearby proximity of BTS can make this a fairly noisy place to stay. I did find one of the security staff to be a bit unfriendly too, especially compared to the others. Finally, a very minor point, but the were not enough hangars in the room to hang my clothes.
