On the other hand my bungalow was right next to the "receptionists" and he watched Thai TV loudly until 4 in the morning... The bungalows are very close and you can hear everything. There is only one shower/ toilet for all the bungalow inhabitants and the wash basin is open air right in front of it. Another major drawback for me was that the door didn't close.. Forget sleeping in less clothes because everyone can take a look. Lastly the light switch for the inside lamp was outside the front door, making crawling out of and back into the moskitonet so much fun...
I arrived in the middle of he night and of course nobody knew about the reservation or the info at which time I would arrive but I easily got the bungalow and a quick tour and could go to sleep. Also really nice is that they provide you with mini soap, toilet paper and a towel and the bungalow has a flat screen TV.

Shared bathrooms were not so nice! Close proximity to te main road which makes it a little noisy!
Nice hostel with a terasse right at the river beds were a bid hard but the price was incredibly cheap!

Dirty bathroom because of the tree. Very small bungalow. Almost no space around the bed. The mother was OK but the daughter looked always boring and to lazy to talk.

In the bungalow, there were crazy amounts of mosquitos, and it seemed just a little too expensive for what was offered.
The staff was amazing!

You share a bathroom, normally that is not a problem but here it was dirrty. By the name 'resort' you expect more. In this place its not more then 4 bungalows in someones garden with a noicy road next to you. It was so small that the thai neighbours waking us up at 6 o'clock. That isn't comfy.
The idea of a bungalow is nice. You have the more thai feeling.

The bungalows are very simple, the bathroom is even quite poor and because of the street it is quite loud for sleeping. But the lady of the guesthouse is so nice that we were lucky to stay there. She gave us information for sightseeing and made wonderful breakfast. She is so sweet and hospitable that we felt very welcome. Phetchaburi is really worthy for a visit, not only because it's still original and non-touristic - and the guesthouse is well located to explore it!

We booked a 250bath room and when we got there it was sold out so we had to pay 400bath. Wifi didn't reach the rooms. There was a gecko inside the room but after scaring it, it never came back.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was good, next to markets and wats. They organized the visits to some of the outside of the city wats.

The biildings are all very tired .I stay in this standard of accommodation a lot and it seems as though maintainance is a low priority.
It has a central position.

When I came the lady said the cheaper room i had booked is taken and i have to take 300 baht room which had the real bed not just mattress, the difference was just 50 baht but well for budget travelling everything extra is not good. The room had own toilet which didnt really work, and there was a tree growing in the toilet, it was cute but made it quite messy. The noise in the night was horrible, do not stay here without earplugs or if you are a light sleeper!! Very loud music and traffic noise right next to the cottage!! The price was high for the quality.
Location was good, but there was also other cheap hostels around it so this is like neutral. But everything was close. Go to other side of canal to get some local food and stuff, there are lot of local stores and food places, the food places marked on a hostel map take a farang price for the food! BTW hostel is next to canal not by the big road as the map says on the web page, its left from the point where there is walkers road crossing bridges above this big street. The hostel lady arranged a trip to Khao Luang cave which was very easy hostel/cave/hostel with tuktuk but may be it was expensive, and actually tuktukdriver asked for 200 baht when lady had said 100.. Dont pay 200, youll get there cheaper. They made laundry for 60 baht was nice and easy. They had just changed the bed, and it was really comfortable.
