Sakorn Residence  

The room was immaculately clean and comfortable. Facilities were new and modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, was an excellent stay and an even better value!

The rooms are big and extremely clean. The pool is nice and the breakfast too. Great price/quality ratio. The staff is really helpfull and they can book any tour you need. I loved the hotel.

Nothing, great hotel.

The room was very spacious and full of life. Very clean, every day they cleaned the room. Friendly staff, you can trust their advice to get around. It was a little further than what we expected from the city. It's easy and cheap to rent a motorcycle.

Sakorn residence was the best hotel we stayed in Thailand and I would suggest everyone to stay here if they visit Chiang Mai. The staff was very helpful, the rooms were crystal clean, the bathrooms were very good and the pool is clean and relaxing. The breakfasts (compared to other places we stayed) was very good as well.

The breakfast, whilst fine for a couple of days, was a bit monotonous on day 7. They should offer "real" coffee too :-)

A/C needed little maintenance

I loved the ample size of the room and bed. It was very clean and maintained everyday. The pool was nice and clean and a good size for swimming. The location was good for getting into the city, easy walk. I liked that there was a DVD player, although I never had the time to watch anything.

I would have liked the pool to stay opened later.

We really enjoyed our stay in Sakorn Residence. We had a really big room with a big king size bed, a big balcony, a nice bathroom with a big shower and a safe and fridge in our room. The hotel is located just outside the Old Town. It's a ten minute walk to the night market, and only five minutes to some really nice restaurants. The hotel has a small but nice swimmingpool. Perfect to cool down after a hot day in Chiang Mai. For breakfast, you have to choose from 5 set menus instead of a buffet, but they were all nice. They have their own restaurant with nice food for good prices. The staff is really really friendly and helpfull. We arrived in the morning, early check in was not a problem and was free. They helped us with a lot of arrangements and they gave us a lot of information about Chiang Mai and the tours that we wanted to do. Their English was very good. We would definately recommend this hotel!

Nothing negative. I read some complaints about the noise in the hall, but it is not too bad!

Location good just a short walk to the river.The staff very friendly and helpful. An Indian restaurant next door was very very good .The coffee shop at Sakorn did great coffee

The lounge furniture was very uncomfortable and furnishings very sparce .The kitchen had very little crockery and no cutlery no bottle or wine openers. The breakfast was very dull and boring

Room was spacious, clean and wonderful for our family of five. Staff was exceptionally helpful. The location was quiet, but well situated to walk to the night bazaar.

It was clean, safe and the staff were great. Close to shopping, restaurants and close to the river. Great pool facilities as well overall just a nice place to stay :)

Nice little pool, free internet, big room. Location not in the main tourist area (which I consider an advantage), but still close to some very nice restaurants and pubs.

Would appreciate proper coffee for breakfast instead of Nescafe. But nothing really to complain about.

O quarto era grande, com dois banheiros, cozinha, cama gigante, sala, televisão...O Hotel ficava próximo ao Rio onde tinham ótimos restaurantes, mas era um pouco longe da Old City, lugar mais turístico.

Colchão duro demais e café da manhã simples; você escolhe algum dos pratos feitos que eles oferecem.

Everything was great! It's a new building, big room and bathroom, nice pool and good breakfast. The hotel is in a quiet area, but still near to downtown Really friendly and helpfull staff. Wifi working good all over the hotel area. No doubt that I could come back to stay there again.

A Little bit far, if you want to walk late check-in

It was my second stay at Sakorn Residence and like the first time I felt like in home. Very friendly and helpfull staffs. Quiet and residencial lane, but not far from the spots. Nice restaurants, bars and posh boutiques along the main road by the river. Anyway, I really did enjoy my last stay at Sakorn Residence.
