The location of this hotel is superb. It's one street over from the popular 'Koh San Road' and is located in between a bar and a spa. The bar next door featured live music and the spa offered massages for 200 baht ($6-8 usd) per 1 hour. Although my room was street facing, the loud music that can be heard turns off at 12am, so I had no issues with the noise. The beds were comfy, rooms were clean, and would recommend this hotel to friends and family looking for accommodation in this area. Location, location, location.. And this hotel has it.
I like everything about Sakul House, especially the location
...you wanna explore Khao San Rd during the night as well as moving to touristic places (Grand Palace etc etc). Good staff, helped us to arrange our shuttle to the airport. Also there is a currency exchange service just before the reception.
It can get noisy during the night (even if you stay in the superior rooms not facing the street). The shower was pretty strange (the pressure could hurt!).
Staff on duty 24/7 with security personnel to let you in.
A bit pricey.
location is good, right in the quieter area but very close to the action
Everything, nice and close to bars, eateries, venders and the colourful sites of Bangkok. The Hotel staff are friendly, curteous and helpful. The room was spotless and the most comfortable beds in Thailand. You can walk to most places of interests if the Tuk, Tuk drivers allow you.
Slightly noisy due to it's location. But I still had a good sleep. Invest in ear plugs as the location is worth it.
Location is superb!! Nice and cosy. All you need for a city break in Bangkok.
Decent size room, comfortable bed
We've got a room giving on Rambuttri road, not very easy to sleep before 1-2AM
stuff is nice，good english，deposite our package after check out.
room is small，bed and pillow are a little hard
It's within walking distance of most heritage sites.
Rooms are small. noisy
location, street beat
Clean room and convenient to Grand Palace, cheap street food and bars, and Khao San Rd aside.
It's facing the bar street, so it is very very noisy during the night time. I couldn't sleep until 3am in the morning... So if you are not a night person, don't choose this place. Also, it doesn't provide slippers, nor tooth brush/paste. Bring your own if needed.
The location, it's the street where all the better restaurants are, right next to the Khao San Road, it's a bit more quiet than Khao San but it's still pretty loud if you don't take a superior room... The room i took was pretty good and clean...
Not very quiet at nights...
We arrived after travelling all night to have them offer us a juice each at reception - what a nice added extra. The place was lovely friendly and helpful staff. Being middle aged it was perfect not too loud. I will be back next year.
The hotel was close to everything. There were plenty of options for food and shopping. The Grand Palace is a 10 minute walk form the hotel which was a huge plus. Khaosan Road is just a block over. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. We had a room away from the road so the it was very quite.
Bed were a little bit hard. The shower head could not be adjusted so it was a little difficult getting ready in the mornings
Great location, right behind Khao San Road. Rooms on top floors are very quiet so you don't hear the noise from the streets. Nice terrace and strong Wifi.
Wifi was down for one day, but staff eventually fixed it.
Great rooms, goos location on rambuttri, right next to susie walking street to kaosan. Huge comfy bed. Wifi works well except the last morning before departure.
Very little downsides. Only the pushy taylor standing at the hotel exit permanently.
location near from every things in khao san
nothing about hotel but the food here in khao san is not good but you can eat
The staff was really nice and friendly The rooms are really new and clean
The noise from the street, but if you take the superior room it's ok
Hairdryer, electric kettle and instant coffee products were exactly what I needed! Great location!
Noise from the street. (Not too bad!)
We travel all over the world and had a great stay! Were very impress. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Value for money. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable beds.
Terrible place. Very noisy, very difficult to get some sleep. Very rude staff. Never been treated so badly in Thailand. We had to pay extra because our baby got the sheets dirty. I couldn't believe it, but unfortunately it was true. Don't stay here!
noise from the street until early morning
