Excellent rooms, Beautiful view and swiming pool

Unfriendly and unflexible staff. Remote location and expensive transportation. Frequent power shortages

the salad buri was a remarkable experience! we planned to stay 2 nights but stayed a whole week instead. the staff is very helpful and pleasent and i think that the difference in that resort comparing to others is the attention to small details (for example- shaped pancakes in breakfast, different towel decoration every day...) probably on of the best hotels in koh phangan and a great value for money. hotel's restaurant is great too...

We had the most wonderful stay at Salad Buri Resort. We are a young couple and were looking for a beautiful and quiet spot so we could wind down and relax. Our room was perched on the side of a small mountain so we had amazing views and complete privacy. Our room was comfortable and clean. The air conditioning allowed a comfortable nights sleep each night and the spa on the balcony gave us the chance to unwind to a beautiful view over the beach. The restaurant food was lovely and fresh and the staff were amazing. We could not fault this resort and will be returning with our children in the near future.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a haven.

Everything in the hotel closes around 10pm so there's nothing to do after that and the hotel is quite far from everything except nearby hotels.

We were greeted at our taxi by a trolley that brought us to reception where we were given a nice cool drink. We checked in and were brought to our room. The hotel is built on a cliff side or side of a very steep hill so we were glad not to have to carry our heavy bags up. We had a private jacuzzi in our room so were happy with that. The pool and the food was beautiful too.

There were many steps up to our room that we had to climb each time we wanted to go anywhere. The mini bar prices were not displayed and were nearly twice the price of other hotel. This was a great surprise when checking out.

The resort is beautiful, great for peace and quiet, relaxing and for romance. It is secluded so not for young party goers, but they provide a taxi service to other parts of Koh Phangan (eg. The full moon party). Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and great dinner.

The water is awful- you have to keep the air conditioner on freezing to get any hot water at all! It is a cheap and old fashioned way of getting hot water, I was extremely cold in the room and consistently had a luke warm shower, as the system did not work very well during my stay. The resort is in the middle of nowhere- no town nearby and it rained for 3 days for us so we had nothing to do because the resort only has a pool and beach, no games rooms, activities, gym or anything so we stayed in our room for 3 days. If there is no rain, you will be fine as you can relax by the pool/beach.

Great views from window, jacuzzi on the balcony, wonderful massage and friendly staff.

No major drawbacks. The shower broke during my stay but was repaired immediately. No other slightest grounds for complaining.

Its private and nicely design, small houses well disconnected from each other

No hot water supply, low level Wi Fi

Great value for this money and really good restaurant (coconut soup was just perfect) though If you want to eat somewhere else there are many bars on the same beach.

we stayed in salad buri for 2 nights and we enjoid every min! we took the pool villa. brekfest was good(can be improved)df the stuff was very helpfull and allways with a smile... salad beach is amaizing ,quiet and perfect for young cuples will b back

I fell in love with this place. I found the staff really friendly and the landscape is amazingly beautiful. My friend and I stayed here for 4 night at the end of a 2 week trip in Thialand and we loved it. It is very quiet, abit away from things, but so beautiful.

Only thing that could have been better was there was no shower gel or shampoos in the room which would of been a nice touch

Wonderful room with a private jacuzzi that overlooked the pool area of the resort. Lush surroundings with beautiful scented frangipani flowers everywhere. Fabulous crystal clear three tiered pool to swim in with views so the ocean and comofrtable loungers to relax in afterwards. Cleaning staff were amazing with their wonderful towel and flower creations that they produced each day. I had the best massage ever at the Salad Buri Resort.

Kayaks were far too expensive, they should be free to guests as is the snorkelling gear.
