Salad Buri Resort & Spa  

Salad Buri Resort was wonderful. We stayed in the room with the Jacuzzi on the balcony and absolutely loved it, so much so that we booked a few extra nights. The rooms are well decorated, the view is spectacular and the staff are friendly. There were a lot of stairs which helped us burn off the guilt from all the food we ate. It is a great place for couples.

The driveway was so steep that we couldn't get our scooter up it with two people, but it really wasn't an issue. A little bit of exercise never harmed anyone!

The Salad Buri is in a fabulous setting with well appointed and attractive Japanees styled rooms. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant and always had a big smile on their faces. Evening meals served on the beach in the balmy atmosphere were wonderful as were the very reasonable massages.

For us everything was wonderful but some people may not like the fact that there is nowhere else go to.

The sea is so shallow that more looks like a puddle. You should go hundreds of meters to get a 50 cm depth. Most of rooms is on the sharp hill' slope and almost unreachable by walk Provlems with internet Very isolated location - nothing around and you have to use a rented car or taxi

I would recommend this resort to anyone, the staff are very very friendly and attentive and the accommodation is beautiful.

Restaurant staff was very friendly and great! Maid were great as well!

Bugs and frogs in our room. Reception staff was rude and scammed us money on ferry and cab rides. Its in the middle of no where, cab is 25 min into town and cost 600 THB there and back. Food was not good and way to over priced.

The rooms are great, we had the family room. Food is fair although we went to salad hut most of the time to eat.

The family room we had did not have a living room and to reach the balcony you had to walk across one of the bedrooms. The beach is bad, you cant swim in the ocean there, and all the wild dogs at the beach/resort need to be chased away.

Staff was extremely helpful. Room nicely furnished and clean. Hot rain shower. Very nice pool. Stayed in Superior room which was very good but i recommend one of the stunning villas with a private pool. Probably one of the best hotels on the island!

The hotel bar closes at 11pm. Very quiet at night. You have to go to one of the bars on the beach or drive to Haad rin. Cocktails etc are a little overprized at 200baht which is a lot in Thailand. I ordered some Icecream late at night which was also 200baht. Think thats a little too much. Perfect place for couples and families who are looking for a quiet holiday. Or try to bring some Thai ladies else you're screwed.

The resort is beautiful, great for peace and quiet, relaxing and for romance. It is secluded so not for young party goers, but they provide a taxi service to other parts of Koh Phangan (eg. The full moon party). Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and great dinner.

The water is awful- you have to keep the air conditioner on freezing to get any hot water at all! It is a cheap and old fashioned way of getting hot water, I was extremely cold in the room and consistently had a luke warm shower, as the system did not work very well during my stay. The resort is in the middle of nowhere- no town nearby and it rained for 3 days for us so we had nothing to do because the resort only has a pool and beach, no games rooms, activities, gym or anything so we stayed in our room for 3 days. If there is no rain, you will be fine as you can relax by the pool/beach.

Great views from window, jacuzzi on the balcony, wonderful massage and friendly staff.

No major drawbacks. The shower broke during my stay but was repaired immediately. No other slightest grounds for complaining.

We had the most wonderful stay at Salad Buri Resort. We are a young couple and were looking for a beautiful and quiet spot so we could wind down and relax. Our room was perched on the side of a small mountain so we had amazing views and complete privacy. Our room was comfortable and clean. The air conditioning allowed a comfortable nights sleep each night and the spa on the balcony gave us the chance to unwind to a beautiful view over the beach. The restaurant food was lovely and fresh and the staff were amazing. We could not fault this resort and will be returning with our children in the near future.

we stayed in salad buri for 2 nights and we enjoid every min! we took the pool villa. brekfest was good(can be improved)df the stuff was very helpfull and allways with a smile... salad beach is amaizing ,quiet and perfect for young cuples will b back

I fell in love with this place. I found the staff really friendly and the landscape is amazingly beautiful. My friend and I stayed here for 4 night at the end of a 2 week trip in Thialand and we loved it. It is very quiet, abit away from things, but so beautiful.

Only thing that could have been better was there was no shower gel or shampoos in the room which would of been a nice touch
