Very plush. Nice staff. Internet fees should be free as it is every where else, even just up the rd 20 baht coke gave us internet as long as your there! Didn't book breakfast by mistake 500 baht per person which is £30 a day!! Very expensive if you only eat toast or just cereals like us. Had to buy trail size corn flakes and eat out of cups!!

The Beach is amazing, the pool is big and perfect and it offers a great location away from the noise where you could chill out either as a couple or as a family. Very nice Thai Style Hotel with numerous options of Rooms and prices for "all" budgets normal hotel rooms (with shared pool access) , Garden Villas (with shared pools) or very impressive Garden Villas (with private pools). The Beach is Gorgeous light colored sand and if you want to swim it is ideal since the water gets deep quickly and there are few shells, rocks or algae like on other parts of Mae Nam beach. The hotel was chilled out with no pressure to do anything if you do not want to. I.E. if you want to take a tour or go diving, they offer options, if you want to stay at the pool/beach the entire trip, that is also fine. Very Low pressure hotel with great Thai architecture and gardens. The Breakfast had a nice variety, but the freshness and quality could be improved. All hotels seem to offer similar breakfast buffet - but for a 4 star hotel you expect better than 2 star freshness and quality. This could be very easy to fix if the hotel wants to raise their standard and image back to where it belongs. Also, the childcare area was not in the best of shape and was not an inviting atmosphere. Needs updating...Old tv with fuzzy image quality, broken toys and hard floor. Staff does not seem to be interested in the childcare offering.

almost everything!! great location, the infinity pool, the beach, the rooms, our private pool. absolutely beautiful resort!! amazing views. the satay lady on the beach has amazing satays, corn, fruits!! staff were very friendly, great service. all our requests were instantly met. the resort itself is stunning!! must visit. you can rent a scooty just outside the resort - best way to explore the island! there is only one restaurant on the resort, kinda pricy. but a short walk out of the resort and there are 2 great places to eat: Harry's and Sunshine (pooh's restaurant). for a whole week that we were there, we kept having broken sleep for some reason, couldn't figure out why.

We stayed at Buri for our last night and found it to be excellent value for money. We had a room with access to a shared pool which was a nice feature, although to be honest we didnt use it. The Hotel is very isolated from anything, but the staff were so helpful and should you need to pop to the shops then they take you on a golf cart which was fun! We didnt choose the breakfast option and they wanted to charge us 500bht per person to have breakfast!! When i asked if i could choose something from the normal menu I was left waiting for half an hour until he remembered and told me no - its still breakfast time. I walked away and we found an adorable little caffee who served anything you wanted for about 100 bht each instead! bargain!!

The layout of the bungalows and the beautifully planted gardens. The size of the room and bed. The internet was not free and it didnt work very well. The signal kept disappearing and this was particularly annoying because you didnt know when it was happening. A real pain.

We were blown away by how beautiful the hotel is. If you want a hotel for a honeymoon or romantic or peaceful getaway then this hotel is perfect. The food was great and the entertainment in the evening was fun and spectacular! The pool was stunning and the beachfront location was gorgeous. It was our fault really, but we chose this hotel as it was in a quiet location (we didn't want to stay with all the backpackers) but actually it was a little too remote for us and there wasn't much to do outside of the hotel at all. If total relaxation is what you are after then the hotel is gorgeous, but if you prefer to be able to leave the hotal in search of local restaurants and a couple of bars then this isn't the hotel for you.

Very nice and quite beach, not shoal sea,you can swim, near the Lomparay pier where you can go to Ko Phangan, Ko Tao and Bangkok with catamaran, very nice garden, every two days we got snack and cocktail in the pool bar complimentary. There is a very nice beach restaurant 50m far from hotel with fresh seafood, in the evening it is very intimate and romantic with little "campfire" in the sand. Mae Nam is little bit poor and untidy village, but it is the real Thailand. Twice a day is there free shuttle to Chaweng beach, but at 10am and 4pm and you have to book one day before. The taxi from Chaweng to hotel 350- 400 thb and 20-30 minute depend on traffic jam. (And mosquitos, but is not the problem of hotel )

Our reaction when we arrived to the hotel was: wow. Really beautiful, well designed, with very helpful and polite staff. The rooms are huge, well equipt with everything that you could ever imagine needing. The resort's territory is very well taken care off and the sea is just few meters away. Perfect to relax and enjoy. - The ac in our friends' room wasn't working, but was fixed in two attempts - the waiters at the restaurant are VERY slow, you can wait for your coffee for 15 minutes or more, a couple of times they simply forgot to bring it; - the waiters also don't bring half of the breakfast ordered, and you need to tell them several times what else is still missing - not enough towels at the pool, very enoying. They even tried to pass the dirty ones as fresh ones a couple of times, but after being threatened with calling the manager, the lack of fresh towels was solved in 5 minutes

Everything from the staff to the service to the rooms and the food, arrangements was amazing! Was there for our honeymoon and really had a great time at the resort. The pool bar closes a bit too early at 8 PM. Also the private pools should be made a bit more private like the name suggests.

The Samui Buri Beach Resort is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The room with pool access was fantastic. The restaurant at the Hotel is very average. However, there are good eateries everywhere and close by.

We had a spectacular room, with a lap pool outside the edge of our patio. The service was superb. The front desk very helpful, the restaurant manager obliging, and the wait staff indulged us. Stunning pool and great beach made the decision of where to sit at relax quite difficult. Not enough holiday time.

It's convenient if you travel from Ko Pangane as it's close to the pier. Except the reception area, all wore off... It doesn't look like the ones you see on their pictures. I stayed the furthest from the beach... Long way to walk. The view from the room was awful. You could see abandoned houses and nothing pretty.

Very disappointing! The hotel facilities are great but the service is extremely poor. We traveled as a young couple and also had friends staying at the resort - on the second day, we rented a motorbike to your Ko Samui. When parking the bike the brakes slipped in some sand at the hotel and the entire bike fell on me resulting in several injuries - no one's fault at all! We rushed to reception to find out where the nearest hospital was and whether they could call a cab immediately - the receptionist laughed at my girl friend and friends and refused to call a taxi. This was a problem we had the night before as well since it is a 4 star hotel and they cannot call a taxi! In such a serious case, we were all extremely upset at the lack of professionalism. We eventually found a hospital ourselves online and had to call an ambulance. No one at the hotel even bothered to help - while I was covered in blood on the floor. Our friends started asking for a first aid kit and they presented us a box of plasters! After spending the night in the hospital - the next day we complained and ask to speak to the manager and we were told that he would be in touch. Never heard from them after that. On checkout we asked again for an update and I was told that he would email is - still waiting on that email to arrive ;-) The hotel facilities are good but not great - we stayed in the most expensive suite and it was never properly cleaned and the staff at reception are so rude and cannot speak any English! So in an emergency do not even bother. Without any notice we were asked on arrival to pay 3000 Baht as a deposit. This should be notified in advance. The hotel is also located next to an open pond which is flooded with mosquitoes and it is quite a problem at night. So even if you have a private pool, you would not be able to enjoy it at night. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in and definitely not worth a 4 star rating! Be aware before you book! The staff were the most unprofessional people I have ever met at a hotel. Very rude and unhelpful.

Loved the helpfull staff, the high level of cleanliness, the beautiful gardens, the beach and pool area is really lovely. The rooms adjoining the private pools that we stayed in were terrific! Large, airy and light, tastefully decorated and well appointed. All the little extras like the beach basket and towels, fruit bowl, ice delivery, incense burner etc really appreciated. Only thing we were dissapointed by was that there was no free wi fi. In our month of travelling in Thailand Samui Buri was the only resort that didnt offer it. We found logging on/off the prepaid wireless conection that was available problomatic and time consuming.

Everything about Samui Buri beach resort was fantastic. The staff were the loveliest people who would go out of their way to make sure you were happy. The resort itself was beautiful and clean and the rooms were lovely. Would definitely recommend this resort!
