Staff were very friendly and willing to help with all issues. Restaurant was good, excellent breakfast, BBQ seafood reasonable value.

Beach view turned out to be a "tree view", over priced for what you got. Beach was dirty no sand when tide was full, water up to the hotel steps.

we liked just nothing.. The photos shown in your site are no way related to the hotel room they gave us. i was shocked to learn that the photos which are in your site belongs to other property and when we ask room on that they demanded more. they are just selling their rooms on your site by showing the nice snaps. I request booking.com to confirm the photos before you display on your site. we were very upset with this.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, they even gave us a free upgrade! We were only staying two nights but the room was cleaned and new towels provided. A luxury as a backpacker.

Great location.

The staff was very impatient. There was an incident with a bike where there was damage done. The worker/manager lost total control of his emotions and threatened our lives. Dead scared we fled the island and this actually ruined the entire trip.

There isn't exactly beach access unless you want to wade through the surf, which many did. The surf hits the sea wall so there isn't sandy beach and you have to walk a bit out of the way to reach chaweng...but not really a problem as I am happy with a beach chair, umbrella and cold beverage. We arrived the first day at happy hour and the music was predictably bad. I wish Thais would realize we like their music and would like not to hear Hotel California on a Thai beach. But of course there are those who eat that up. The rest of our stay the music was at a volume we could ignore and the bar staff were very accommodating. When I mentioned my beer was a bit warm, the next one was packed in ice before being served frosty cold.

Was our second time to stay at this Resort, just as good the second time. The staff are most helpful, very polite, is great that you can hire bikes from the hotel. The location is ideal, right on the beach, and just far enough away from the bustle of the main street, but still an easy walk. I will definitely come back a third time, and fourth and fifth!

Nothing, I love everything about Samui Island Beach Resort, cant wait to come back again.

Very friendly staff Very quiet place

The location of the hotel is much further than the 10 minute walk, that previous posts suggested, it's a 10 minute yuk-yuk and a 25 min walk. The hotel is extremely overpriced for what it is, it has a poolside bar, the food is extremely poor. The wifi doesn't work in the room only works at a slow rate while on the balcony. The staff speak no English, they try hard to be friendly but communication is very difficult.

The room had a good view

There are a couple of things 1) the hotel was not aware we were arriving, and so we had issues at check in 2) Due to #1, the room booked was not available on the first night, and we had to move the next day.

It was really bad reception in Samui Island Beach Hotel. When I arrived there they told us the rooms were fulled and tried to send us for a condo in the middle of no where, completely different from what I had payed, booked and far away from the beach. After I discussed several minutes they put me in another room that was near to the beach, but wasn't the room which I've booked in the internet. The service in the restaurant is very poor and the beach isn't in a good location, on the corner of the coast! I will never come back for this hotel anymore.

Staff were very heplfull, and very kind. Place was nice, clean, quit.

Manager dont want to meet with customer to solve the problem. Just left the messages through staff.

The location was great and the staff were fantastic, however some had limited English. The resort was lovely, clean and well looked after. The staff were wonderful when we lots power and did whatever they could make our stay better.

There was no generator so when the Island lost power we lost the air- conditioner.

The friendly & helpful staff , the quiet and peaceful atmosphere and the lovely view we had of the beach when we hv our daily breakfast .

The location is very good, and clean. The waitress is very nice.

Need 3% additional charge if by master card. I will report this to master card organization.

On the first night members of my group were woken at 1230 am by a member of staff demanding payment in full for the hotel stay. The male walked into their room demanding money and woke two other rooms also demanding money. This was intimidating and extremely unprofessional. The security man thought it was funny. We got an halfhearted apology and understand this has happened before. The hotel made no effort to make us feel secure or that the apology was sincere. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as thier customer service and security leave alot to e desired.

The restaurant was a bit expensive

The staff were the friendliest people who were always willing to help out with anything. The rooms were clean and the facilities were excellent. We had our own private beach where we could kayak, jet ski, swim etc. The only downside was a 20-25 minute walk into town centre, but if you're willing to do the walk or catch a taxi then this place is perfect.

The hotel was very close to Chaweng, it's really less than 10 minutes walking. The staff was very helpful and king. The breakfast was quite good!

The beach in front of the hotel isn't good at all and everyhting has to be paid: you have to pay the safe everytime you open it, internet connection is not free

The people didn't speak a lot of English

i just wanted to move on to other hotel after one night as it was not my type. My kids wanted to have launch and dinner at KFC, Macdonald, Pizza hut, etc. I requested them to cancel my booking for the rest of two nights but it was refused and told me that i have to pay the whole amount. I found this one an undue influence and i lived there.

Lovely place to stay. My room on the second floor had a beautiful ocean view. The room was modern and the bed was very comfy. My room was also very clean and was made up by 1pm daily. The restaurant and the pool are closer to sea. Loved our barman! Funny guy. All staff really lovely and the food was excellent. The location is about 10 minute walking distance from town which suited me just fine.

Beautiful, perfect location right onside the beautiful ocean with a small infinity pool to look out from. Loved the calm location about 10 min from action in main strip. You can walk out into water for miles. :)

The hotel over charges for everything (like many of them do). 350 baht for a shuttle ride from them, when you can get it for 150 in a truck/taxi. Food & buffet are also way overpriced compared to everything else around.
